1. God’s
Provisions through
Obedience
Genesis 22:14 NIV
So Abraham called that place The LORD Will
Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the
mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

Jehovahjireh: as it is
said to this day, In the
mount of the LORD it
shall be seen.

3. It is God’s will for us to be
blessed
• John 10:10 I have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full.
• 3 John 1:2 KJV
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou
mayest prosper and be in health, even as
thy soul prospereth.

4. • Blessing - a favor or gift bestowed by
God, thereby bringing happiness.
-the invoking of God's favor

• Provision - the providing or supplying
of something, especially of
food or other necessities.

5. 1. OBEY
• Genesis 22:2-3 NIV
• Then God said, "Take your son, your only son,
whom you love--Isaac--and go to the region of
Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on
a mountain I will show you." Early the next
morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey.
He took with him two of his servants and his son
Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the
burnt offering, he set out for the place God had
told him about.

mostly about the laws God
gave us to obey.

will provide the lamb for the burnt
offering, my son." And the two of
them went on together.

• What good is it for someone to gain the
whole world, yet forfeit their soul?

• Those who trust in their riches will fall,
but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.

13. 3. Abraham’s Descendants will
be Blessed

• 18 and through your offspring[a] all

me.”

14. Christians are the new Israel

nor is circumcision that which is outward in

of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter;

Blessed are
• the poor in spirit,

• the meek
• who hunger and thirst for righteousness
• the merciful
• pure of heart
• Peacemakers
• persecuted for the sake of righteousness
