Warm up. Stretch your joints and muscles before you
start playing.
Protective gear. Wear a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads,
etc.
Moderation. Rest when you are tired and drink lots of
water.
Cool-down. Stretch and relax your muscles after
exercising.
8. ILLNESSES
The flu . You have a
fever, headache and pain
of muscles.
A cold . It is similar to flu
but you have a cough
and mucus .
Chicken
pox .
This
illness gives you a fever
and makes you tired.
You get itchy spots all
over your body.
9. PREVENTING ILLNESSES
Cover your mouth when
you cough or sneeze.
Do not share food or
drinks.
Open windows in rooms
with lots of people.
10. VACCINES
Vaccines are medicines that doctors give us when
we are healthy to protect us against certain
illnesses.
There is a vaccination calendar that tells us what
illnesses we need to vaccinate for and when.
