A research report analyzed employee tenure data from 250 randomly selected LinkedIn profiles. On average, employees stayed at a job for 3.79 years, with a median tenure of 2.96 years. The report also found that women had higher average (4.10 vs 3.67 years) and median (3.59 vs 2.86 years) tenure than men. Additionally, the data showed that women were most represented in HR (64%) and client relations roles (50%) and least represented in sales (13%) and operations (20%).
