3. The Yoga of Knowledge (Jnana
Yoga) deals with the investigation of
supreme wisdom the significance of
spiritual knowledge and the
qualifications of the man of
knowledge are elaborately stated,
and so it is entitled Jnana yoga.
4. Yajjnatva na punar
mohamevam yasyasi pandava
Yena bhutanyaseshena
drakshyas yatmanyatho mayi.
Substance:- Know that (knowledge) by long
prostration, question and service (to the
master). The sages who have realized the
truth will instruct you in that Knowledge.
5. Na hi jnanena sadrisam
pavitramiha vidyate
Tat svayam yogasamsiddhah
kalenatmani vindati.
 Substance:- Indeed there is nothing so pure as knowledge in
this world. He who is perfected in Nishkama karma fined
that wisdom by himself in atma in due season.
6. Api chedasi papebhyah
sarvebhyah papakruittamah
Sarvam jnana plavena’va
vrijinam samtarishyasi.
Substance:- Even if you are the
most sinful of all sinners, you
shall cross over all sin by the raft
of Knowledge.
