The document describes a 2012 research study that developed a mathematics screening test for children with learning disabilities. The study involved 342 second grade students in Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal schools. The researcher analyzed the data from the screening test, which included 6 subtests related to math skills. ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this research was to develop
mathematics screening test. Three hundred and forty
two grade 2 students in Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal
schools were served as subjects. Mathematics
screening test has 6 subtests. The data was analyzed
by using correlation and percentile.
The result of research revealed that the reliability
of the screening test was .92. Mathematics screening
test has 6 subtests. They were visual discrimination,
counting, place values, addition, subtraction and word
problem solving. The cutoff points with the 10th
percentile rank from each subtest.
