Picture Pass Doodle System Analysis
4.3 Security and attacks
Security is the most significant factor in authentication scheme. Our participants were enquired
about how they often change their passwords and whether they have different passwords for
different accounts, their answers were that they do not do that often; therefore, this would increase
possibility of attacks. Here we briefly introduce some of the possible attacks which could break the
Picture Pass Doodle system.
4.3.1 Shoulder surfing
It is possible for an attack get the information by using direct observation methods , such as while a
user enters a password , the attacks records the input or watches over the user's shoulder [1]. The
attack can be applied to both touchscreen and non–touchscreen devices. To effectively prevent
shoulder surfing, the disappearing stroke should be provided by default. This means that after the
user has enter a stroke, it disappears. Users should be given the option to select line snaking where

A Picture Pass Doodle is designed to provide sufficient security, usability, memorability, and
interoperability across devices. The combination of free–form doodles and a background image
separates the Picture Pass Doodle from other related works. Free–form doodles can provide greater
and can also allow users to be creative. The background image used in Picture Pass Doodles
increases memorability by providing cues and reducing the memory load on users. Finally, we can
say regarding to the participants results that the Picture Pass Doodle system is a usable and secure
system despite taking more time and steps during the registration and login stage. Picture Pass
Doodle is a promising login and password protection criteria for the future and therefore further
research could be done on the same so that the process becomes more efficient for easy application
considering the fast technological development in the world

My doodle did not listen to me at all and then I lost him and I couldn't think because I haven't eaten.
a few minintes later the bell ring and lunch time was over but I had to miss class because I had to
find my doodle. I search in the lockers, outside, the bathrooms, and then I went to the cafeteria and I
saw an apple on a basket so I ate the apple and then I saw my doodle. I ran as fast as I can but he
was going really fast like the flash and he went outside it was really out side I felt like I was going
to melt like an ice cube. Suddenly I found some roller skates so I put them on and it was embarrsing
because the rollerskates were pink and had hearts on them but I had to use them so that I can catch

Yankee Doodle Essay
Over the course of nearly 260 years of social and political happenings and Fourth of July
celebrations, the easily malleable ditty has spawned a vast multitude of improvised verses, which
both feed and are testimony to its lasting appeal as a veritable 'song of the people'. However, this
does create some problems. Yankee Doodle's celebrated melody is one of the very few things about
the song that have remained constant throughout its history. With a long history of continual
adaptation and evolution, its lyrical origins are more difficult to pinpoint. It is unsurprising that
there is little iron–clad evidence for each aspect of a traditional song whose composition was born
of on–the–go, impromptu improvisation. Even the most commonly accepted ... Show more content

Both Lucy Locket and the afore–mentioned harvest song make it clear that only later adaptations
began to advance toward truly conveying the meaning that Yankee Doodle did. Supposedly, the first
major such adaptation that bore a clear resemblance to Yankee Doodle as we know it, was a jibe at
Oliver Cromwell . Cromwell was, at the time, a subject ripe for satire: the politico–military leader's
rise to dictatorial power in the 1600s during and after the English Civil War made him an extremely
divisive figure.
Nankee Doodle (or, Oliver Cromwell) went to town,
A–riding on a pony;
Stuck a feather in his hat,
And called it macaroni.
The verse is attributed to the Cavaliers , and is said to allude to a visit that Cromwell made to
Oxford to accept their surrender during the Civil War. Except the use of 'Nankee' instead of 'Yankee'
and 'hat' instead of 'cap', these lyrics are exactly those of the song we know today. And thus, they
beg the question of their meanings. What or who is a Nankee Doodle? If it is Cromwell, why was he
styled as such? Perhaps most perplexingly, why did he stick a feather in his hat and invoke

The Theme Of Seasons And Seasons In The Scarlet Ibis By...
It is impossible to find a family that is problem free and does not go through its ups and downs.
Seasons often marks a progress, here it not only sets the way for Doodles progress of becoming like
a normal boy, but it is used as a way to show the growth of the sibling relationship between the two
brothers. Seasons and weather play an important role in setting the tone and mood of the story. An
example of the motif of seasons and weather is seen in the short story "The Scarlet Ibis" by James
Hurst as doodles progress goes along with each season. This motif is used to develop the
relationship between Doodle and his brother as evident through the clove of seasons, summer, and
storms. dd At the beginning of the story Doodles brother, the narrator, recalls that "It was the clove
of seasons, Summer was dead but autumn had not yet been born"(9). The literal meaning to the
clove of seasons is the in between of seasons but in this story it represents uncertainty for what's
about to happen and an end to happy days. At first the brother was excited to be getting a new
brother and someone to play with and so was the rest of the family to be getting a new addition to
the family. That happiness soon ends when Doodle is born with a head disproportionate to his "tiny
body which was red and shriveled like an old man"(9). Doodles brother calls him a disappointment
and the whole family thinks that he is going to die, except for his aunt Nicey that remains hopeful
throughout. Nobody knows

How To Make A Doodle
It is a great big world out there, especially for a doodle. I have oodles of doodle gumption and zest
for life, but sometimes human things can be a bit intimidating. Over the last few months, my mom
and dad worked really hard to help me face my fears and keep my adventurous spirit. Now, because
I am who I am and I am one of those dogs who lives to eat instead of eats to live; treats really
helped me feel good about some potentially tough scenarios. People use this trick too. For example,
you may occasionally enjoy comfort food to ease your stress or anxiety – there is a reason the M&M
jar in the office never stays full.
I am going to give you tips on how to use treats to help puppies, like me, positively associate with

Scary Sounds
Not to brag, but my hearing is way better than human's hearing. So this one is really important.
Sirens, fireworks, thunderstorms, car horns and traffic, crowds, radios, loud music, etc. are all much
louder to me, than you. So making sure your puppy feels good about the sound is really important.
Objects with Wheels
That first car ride home was crazy! That big ol' metal box moves so fast! I love car rides, but it can
be a little discombobulating if you aren't used to it. So can motorcycles and bicycles, so lots of love
and treats when we handle it well.
New Environments
I am a super curious guy so I love going on adventures. There are few places that my parents made
sure I was comfortable with to start: being in a kennel, going to stores, looking good at the
groomers, and...the vet. That last one was super important, and also really hard.
All of these experiences for me took patience, love, support and TREATS! But I am a happier,
healthier pup because of the work we did together. So get out there and help your pup experience

Personal Narrative: My Doodle
When I was in seventh grade I was constantly drawing eyes; all of my papers and all of my
notebooks were littered with them, in all different shapes and colors. When I graduated from middle
school to high school, my affinity for eyes expanded to a love of human features in general. For as
long as I can remember I've been inspired by all the different shapes, sizes, colors, and features
people have, however, I never realized this until I began to express it through art. People, especially
faces, are the largest source of inspiration to me, so of course that is what I drew for my doodle. In
my drawing I wanted to include a variety of people, because diversity is so inspiring to me. There
are so many beautiful intricacies to each person that

How Are The Scarlet Ibis And Doodle Alike
A Red–Feathered Flyer and a Challenged Child The scarlet ibis and Doodle are very similar and
reflect each other masterfully in this short story. To begin, the scarlet ibis and Doodle share many
physical attributes that are easy to identify. The book describes the bird in a way that makes it
appear that something is not quite right. It does not fear humans like any normal bird does, and it is
not sitting in a typical bird perching position. Doodle is just like this bird, but he had these traits as a
human. Doodle has been atypical from birth, being born with a very minute body that was terribly
shriveled. He was unable to walk, run, or play like any normal human being throughout his entire
life. Had he survived, his peers would have left him in the dust at any type of physical ... Show more

Just like these character's inability to fit in physically, their roles are quite strange and are not
normal. Unlike the majority of people, Doodle possessed an incredible imagination that can make
up wonderful stories without any effort whatsoever. However, he lacked physical capability, seemed
to have an irrational fear of being left alone, was shamed by his family for the first two years of his
life, and appeared emotionally unstable at times throughout the story. All of these characteristics do
not meet the standard for a regular being in society. Likewise, the scarlet ibis had one attribute that
rose above the average caliber for its environment. This was its beauty. The story mentioned that
even in death, the ibis was beautiful. It also mentioned that it looked out of place, was
uncoordinated, and appeared weak. Those traits are not customary and make this bird appear
unwanted or unconventional in its environment. The roles that each character plays in their
respective environments are just about as alike as they can be, which further implies a strong

The Doodle: A Narrative Fiction
It hurts him. Watching her stare at the back of some guy's head. She is deep in thought. He assumes
she is spinning some detailed web about the imminent, romantic first date with the back of the guy's
head. He shifts his attention to the doodle he's been cultivating all of lecture. As he focuses on the
sketch of a skull decorating the corner of his notebook, he hears some girls chuckling a few seats
down from him. At what, he is not sure. Fucking troglodytes. He feels the weight of the pencil lay in
the crook of his hand as he begins to darken the eye sockets of the skull. His pencil is gliding around
and around making the depth of the socket stand out. He leaned back in his seat as a look of
satisfaction creeps over his face. Now what was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

thundering voice of the professor awakens the rest of the sleepers/ dreamers in the back of the
lecture hall. "Before you leave, or in some of your cases go back to sleep, write down somewhere
that there is indeed a test next Thursday." As he is writing the reminder next to the skull with only
one complete eye, he takes one last peek at her bouncing curls as she rushes out of the hall to go
daydream about more random guys. He slides his notebook off of the little platform attached to the
chair and tosses the notebook into his always open backpack. After he unzips the side pouch, he
stuffs his hand into the small cave and shuffles around until he feels a smooth, hard rectangle in his
hand. Ah, there it is. The screen of his phone lights up. He is almost the last person in the lecture

Doodle Armstrong Death Analysis
Your honor, we all have our different opinions about the death of Doodle Armstrong. But I am here
to tell you why I believe that Doodle's brother was the cause of this tragic death. Brother left Doodle
back in the rain when he KNEW he had problems walking, he was very cruel to Doodle, and he
ALWAYS put himself before Doodle. At the end of the case your honor you will know that brother
was the cause to the death of Doodle Armstrong. Judge Meedel I would like to start off by showing
you how brother impacted in this death. Doodle struggled when it came to walking and brother
knew that but he didn't seem to care. If he cared then he would have stopped and help Doodle
through the storm but he DIDN'T, he left him there. On record we have that brother states "I ran as
fast as i could, leaving him far behind with a wall of rain dividing us."(6) Therefore, brother left
doodle all the way in the back struggling but did he care.... Nope. As brother was running away you
could hear the words of Doodle shout out "Brother, Brother, don't leave me! Don't leave me."
(6)That did no good because brother just kept on going. Clearly, brother didn't care that Doodle was
trying to catch up because "The faster ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

that didn't seem to bother brother because he just made him make Doodle row the boat. On the way
back from the rowing "(brother) made Doodle row back against the tide." (5)Once again brother not
helping out Doodle and making him face hard challenges that he could not accomplish and brother
just made him do it anyway. Lastly, after all of the hard work Doodle got home and "(He) was pale,
lingered just inside the screen door." (4) Judge Meedel I hope you are starting to realize the cruelty

Comparing Doodle To Christ
When comparing doodle to Christ through symbolizism, in my opinion, there is really no way to
really compare, unless your preference of religion allows for hate, disrespect or the ability to ignore
the significance of such practice. Doodling is an activity that, for the most part, isn't taken seriously.
An artist just draws aimlessly without any thought or serious consideration involved and no real
attention invested. So, how can something of the such be compared to something that people give
their life and devotion to without a doubt in their mind and also pass down to their families to
adopt? I don't see the comparison, it can't be one.
Let's first understand the concept of doodle. A person sits at their desk, with basically nothing on
their mind and creates a picture of a rose. How can this rose symbolize anything of significance if
there wasn't a plan of action or thought involved at the time of or before creating it? In my opinion
the rose isn't significant and worthless no matter if da ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Well, yes if you're not into this particular religion, you can mistake it as unimportant and bypass its
significance, that's understanding, but from a christian standpoint and those who understand religion
and chooses notto hate Christians, their is no possible way to compare doodling to Christ through
symbolizism. Christ symbolizes, devotion, belief , sacrifice, love and life! Doodling symbolizes,
absent mindedness, time wasting or perhaps not paying attendion the what the Pastor is preaching
about during church.
Chriistians devote their entire life to Christ. Doodlers devote the time that it takes to kill time or to
stay occupied while the pastor or home room teacher is teaching. The significance of each are
extremely different and incomparable, not to mention that many doodlers throw away their doodled
work after they're done and never even think twice about it. So, doodling doesn't stand a chance
against Christ in

Richard Shuckburgh's Influences for Writing Yankee Doodle...
Richard Shuckburgh was an army doctor stationed at a fort in Albany, New York during the middle
of the 18th century. He was authorized as a doctor for the "Independent Company of New York" in
June 1737. Shuckburgh is believed to have been the writer of the song "Yankee Doodle." The initial
lyrics to musical compositions that were affiliated with the American Revolution, were authentically
composed in the time of the French and Indian War.
It is believed that Shuckburgh wrote "Yankee Doodle" to insult the New England military. He wrote
that song while stationed at Fort Crailo, after watching a messy training drill of the Connecticut
military unit. Shuckburgh's writings and existing records justify the authentic composition date
sometime in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A New York newspaper referred to Shuckburgh as "a gentlemen of a very genteel family, and of
infinite jest and humor," after his death on August 1773 in Schenectady. Two years following, the
Revolutionary War had begun and the British military utilized the musical composition to tease the
disobedient Americans, whom soon after took the song and changed the melody after defeating the
"redcoats" in action.
Yankee Doodle was originally a band melody that no one has sung collectively. The single stanza
kenned to everyone was not a component of the Revolutionary War song, however it affiliated with
a prior era in history. By 1764 Yankee Doodle was present in England, and by 1767 the melody was
adequately well–known in America that it was quoted in an opera. Regardless of investigation, the
inchoation of the lyrics aren't kenned precisely. Possibly the most logical inchoation is an ancient
English children's cadence, "Lucy Locket."
In spite of its inception, it is keened that the British utilized the melody to fulminate Americans
afore the Revolutionary War, tracing back to the French and Indian War. Shuckburgh was so regaled
at the discernment of the soldiers that he fixated to make fun of them by mounting a couple of
preposterous words into an English melody. "Yankee" attributes to the British soldiers. However, the
inception of "Doodle" is undiscovered. The lyrics that were utilized pristinely isn't kenned because
of the fact that

Scarlet Ibis And Doodle: A Literary Analysis
The deaths and pasts of the Scarlet Ibis and Doodle indicate that their hard work proved to be
useless. As the family begins to walk out into the yard due to the "strange croaking noise" they see a
bird which had gone through a storm that was "the size of a chicken with scarlet feathers" and after
a "moment the bird began to flutter, but the wings were uncoordinated", so the bird "tumbled to the
ground"(99). This realization conveys that the bird had determination to survive, otherwise it would
have lost its life in the storm. Although the bird went through that much to survive it was still too
weak to live due to its displacement and injuries. Just like a weak bird that can not survive in the
skies, a weak person like Doodle will fail at things

The Scarlet Ibis Doodle Character Traits
Character Traits of Doodle
The short story "The Scarlet Ibis" is written by James Hurst. The story is about two brothers, One of
which, Doodle, is disabled and has many physical limitations. The older brother is ashamed and
embarrassed by his Doodle's limitations, and tries to 'normalize' him by attempting to teach him how
to walk, swim, run, climb and other strenuous physical activities. Throughout the story, the older
brother finds out a lot about his brother and his personality, though he fails to learn anything of
value. The author uses symbolism and indirect characterization to illustrate Doodle's uniqueness and
sensitivity.
The use of symbolism shows Doodle's uniqueness by comparing him to the exotic and out of place
ibis which the family found in their backyard. For example, the narrator refers to Doodle as his
"fallen scarlet ibis" shortly after his death. This shows that there is an intentional connection
between the two. By comparing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, when the narrator took Doodle to Old Woman's Swamp, "he began to cry" and when
asked for an explanation he says, "It's so pretty... so pretty, pretty, pretty." This shows that he is
easily affected by beauty and is easily overwhelmed by emotions. This lets us know that he is a
sensitive person, and how easily he can be overwhelmed by something new, In addition, Doodle
reacts strongly to the death of the ibis, his "hands were clasped at his throat" as he stood unusually
still, and afterwards says, "I'm not hungry" when offered dessert. This shows that a death can
drastically change his mannerism and appetite. This also shows that he is more easily overwhelmed
than the rest of his family, highlighting his extreme sensitivity. The use of literary devices, such as
symbolism and characterization, are important because it helps the reader better understand

lazily out of the deep, cool valley. The sky in the east took on a bright orange glow as the sun crept
over the horizon welcoming in the new day. Farmer John was snuggled under his blankets dreaming
of his next fishing trip to the neighborhood pond. Rhody, his Rhode Island Red rooster, was perched
at his station on the gray fence post nearest the chicken coop. He threw out his red–feathered chest
and let out a big, "Cock–a–doodle–moo!" Farmer John sat up in surprise. He thought he must have
heard wrong. "Cock–a–doodle what?" He tumbled out of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

"Don't worry. Doctor Bob assured me that the bump on your head will be gone by tomorrow. It is
likely when your bump goes away so will your cock–a–doodle confusion." Farmer John went to bed
that night hopeful that everything was going to turn out just fine. Even Rhody was able to rest after
his visit from Farmer John. He was feeling much better about his situation. He knew Farmer John
always took very good care of all of the farmyard animals. If Farmer John believed that everything
was going to be okay in the morning then Rhody decided he should believe it too. After a long quiet
night, the sun slowly peeked up over the horizon announcing the start of a new day. Farmer John lay
in his bed eagerly awaiting Rhody's call to wake up the farm. Meanwhile, Rhody was already awake
and was happy to find the bump on his head had indeed disappeared. "Could this mean and ending
to his cock–a–doodle confusion?" He wondered. There was only one way for him to find out. He
waddled over to his station. He paused for a minute to build up his courage. He hopped up on to the
thick gray fence post nearest the chicken coop. He took a deep breath. He threw out his red–
feathered chest and let out a

A Report On Google Doodle
he Google Doodle was first introduced in 1998 before google had even taken off. Larry and Sergey,
who are the founders of Google, played with the logo for google before google had made it's day
view at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. They had originally placed a stick man figure behind
the second "o" in the word Google. This was for a comical message saying that the workers were
out of the office. Although the first doodle as quite simple, the idea would spark something that
would carry until this very day in age. The purpose of doodles is not only to grab the person's
attention when they get to the google homepage. It also has a historical presence to it. The first logo
had a stick man behind the "o". This google was created because they were at the Burn Man festival
which is notable celebration. Now the logo is used for other notable celebrations, contributions,
birthdays, remembrance, and holidays. Then later in 2000, Larry and Sergey hired an intern named
Dennis Hwang to make a doodle for Bastille Day. It was so well done that he was put in charge of
every doodle on the Google's homepage. Since then, Dennis Hwang and his team called doodlers
have created and drawn more than 2000 doodles. These doodles are shown throughout the world
and are shown on the day corresponding to the date of the celebration, contributions, birthdays,
remembrance, and holidays. A famous doodle being shown was a remembrance of the scene of the
Loch Ness Monster. The 81st Anniversary of the

Arguments Against Doodle Armstrong's Death
I'm here to press charges against Doodle's brother for Doodle Armstrong's death, your honor. I'm
Madison Willie. I have strong evidence that proves he says things to Doodle that may discourage
him, he treats Doodle with cruelty, and he can be selfish towards Doodle. He is guilty and should be
charged with a felony. I would like to start by saying that Doodle's brother could say some hurtful
things to Doodle that may discourage him. For example, "One day I took Doodle up to the barn loft,
and showed him his casket, telling him how we all believed he would die." (2) It was a poor choice
for his brother to make and it caused Doodle to get scared and worried about whether or not his life
has all been a lie. He did not know that his family thought ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

After contacting the doctor that Doodle saw during the time where he couldn't walk, he said he gave
strict instructions to not let Doodle get too excited, too cold, too hot, or too tired, and he must be
treated gently. When they left the doctor, brother disregarded these orders and caused Doodle to be
in pain.(2) The definition of abuse is to treat people with cruelty, and him doing this is an unruly
thing to do and it is in the Constitution that everyone shall be treated with respect and this certainly
is not respect. Therefore, charges can and will be pressed. Along with all of this, brother "dragged
Doodle across the burning field."(3) We have a video taken by someone else in the field that day. It
clearly shows brother dragging Doodle by the arms. It is on record that brother "heard Doodle cry
out, "brother, brother don't leave me" but, I ran as fast as I could leaving him far behind with a wall
of rain dividing us."(6) It is noted that this was around the time Doodle was killed, and if he had not
been left there he would be alive right now. Your honor, brother just left him there to die and he did
not care, this shows cruelty and if you still are not convinced, I have more

Scarlet Ibis And Doodle Similarities
The connection between the Scarlet Ibis and Doodle represents the similarities and hardships they
have both gone through. Due to the harsh environment, both characters painfully try to survive the
misfortunes life, or fate, has brought them. Author James Hurst, uses the Scarlet Ibis as a depiction
of Doodle's meager body, distinct nature, and injustice of life that led Doodle towards his end. The
Scarlet Ibis and Doodle were akin to one another, for they had been forced to live in a world they
did not belong in, and were forced to adapt to their surroundings due to many circumstances. "'It's a
scarlet ibis,' he said, pointing to a picture. 'It lives in the tropics––South America to Florida. A storm
must have brought it here.'"

Doodle In The Scarlet Ibis
Most people would come to believe the fact that an ibis cannot relate to a human being, but that can
be proven wrong. Throughout the story, Doodle and the ibis were persistent, yet active, due to the
fact that they never gave up. In the story, "The Scarlet Ibis," by James Hurth, Doodle is a boy who
has physical weaknesses, so it is difficult for him to do things that a normal child would be able to
do. Most ibis are able to fly, however, the scarlet ibis is not capable because it has its own
weaknesses. As Doodle grows up, he gains these negative energies from his surroundings that
makes him feel as if he won't be able to survive as long. Doodle was persistent, since he was
motivated and determined. In the story, it says, "Doodle, don't you want to learn to walk? He'd nod
his head, and I'd say, well if you don't keep trying, you'll never learn" (Hurst, 598). Being persistent
and active played a big role in both of their lives. It isn't implied that Doodle never gave up, but
from what the brother said to keep trying instead of giving up, one may see that Doodle didn't give
up. If Doodle had given up, it would have meant that he would have never learned how to walk. The
scarlet ibis traveled around, and it was strange, since it came out of nowhere, and ... Show more

Even though both characters gave up, it does not mean that they are not persistent. Everyone in
general tries to achieve a specific thing, but then there's a point where we just want to give up.
When one gives up, it doesn't mean that they are done, one may just get up and try again; such as,
Doodle. In the story, it states, "I just can't do it. Let's make honeysuckle wreaths. Oh yes you can,
Doodle,... All you have to do is try. Now come on, and I hauled him up once more" (Hurst, 598).
This quote has proven the fact that even if one gives up, just try again until one

Character Analysis: Doodle And The Narrator
Doodle & the Narrator I think it was the narrator's fault that Doodle died. I believe this because
Doodle was weak. The narrator knew of Doodle's condition and still continued leaving him behind.
The narrator was also embarrassed of having a brother like Doodle. Some may argue that the
narrator did not know this would happen, but I believe that he should have been more sympathetic.
Doodle was born very tiny and the doctor believed he wouldn't even live long enough to do normal
things a boy should do. The doctor believed Doodle would not be able to walk or even crawl.
Doodle surpassed many people's expectations from him. Although Doodle was a strong willed child,
he was still weaker than the rest of the children. Doodle did not learn to crawl until the age of three.
Doodle was dragged around in a cart until the age of five. At five years of age Doodle just began to
learn how to walk. When the narrator pushed him to run hard his body couldn't handle it ... Show

Personal Narrative: Doodle
Invalid, different, clingy, a disappointment, and a burden; all words I had used to describe Doodle.
He was just about the craziest brother a boy ever had. He was born when I was only six years old,
and I had thought of him as a disappointment. Everybody, except my Aunt Nicey, had thought that
he was going to die. Nobody had faith in his survival. As a baby, he would just lie on the rubber
sheet in the center of his bed, and he was never "all there." Although many doubted his survival, he
lived. As time went by, he would grow, gain intelligence, and conquer obstacles. He finally began to
move once he was two, and then eventually crawling, even if he did crawl backwards like the
Doodlebug he was.
He was a burden in many ways to me. The doctor had always ordered to not strain Doodle; make
sure he wouldn't get too hot or too cold, too tired or too excited. Of course, I ignored all of these
precautions. I would even try to discourage him coming with me everywhere I went by sometimes
accidentally knocking him over the go–cart in the cotton rows. However, I eventually realized that

started, when we heard that strange croaking noise. Up in the bleeding tree, perched precariously,
was a scarlet ibis. The red bird had tried to flutter, but failed, tumbling down through the limbs of
the bleeding tree and landed on the ground with a thud. I remember all of us standing around the
broken vase of red flowers, awed by it's exotic beauty. Doodle had been very fond of the scarlet ibis,
it had seemed. He would not eat as often, and he even buried the ibis himself, next to the petunia

Self Pride In The Scarlet Ibis By James
In the the story "The Scarlet Ibis" by James, Hurst shows his audience that self pride is a positive
aspect in this story, it can help people get through difficult obstacles they have in life, but when
people worry too much about their self pride it can lead to hurting others physically and mentally.
Pride can be positive and can help people overcome the difficult struggles they are going through,
and can also lead to bonding or getting closer. In this story, the narrator has a disabled brother whos
parents and doctor both don't believe he is able to learn to walk. The narrator doesn't think of
Doodle as a brother, but as someone who is disabled and tries to fix him by helping him learn to
walk. One piece of evidence that shows that pride is positive in the story, is when the narrator shows
how he cares about Doodle and wants him to get better by helping him learn how to walk. After he
got to know Doodle a little bit more he felt more connected and believed that he would learn to walk
and put in the effort to help him learn. "I'm going to teach you to walk, Doodle.' I said. 'I can't walk
brother,' He said. 'Who says so?' I demanded. 'Mama, the doctor––everybody.' 'Oh you can walk"
(Hurst 3). This quote shows how pride can lead to helping someone get through something they are
struggling with, because it says "I'm going to teach you to walk, Doodle." he's very confident in the
way he asserts his ability to teach Doodle to walk he does this instead of saying "I am going to try"
or asking it as a question "Would you like me to?" These are both less confident ways he could go
about asking. Then another part of the quote that stood out was when the author wrote the narrator
saying " 'Oh you can walk' " to his brother, Doodle. He's dismissing his mother and the doctor who
are both older and more knowledgeable than him. This elaborates on the fact that the narrator shows
a tremendous amount of pride and arrogance throughout the story. This shows that the narrator had
fueled Doodle's desire to succeed for his brother because the narrator pushed him to be normal, thus
Doodle being able to walk. Before everyone told Doodle he could not walk so Doodle did not
believe in himself, until his brother pushed him to

The Doodle Pro By Fischer Price Essay
The product being evaluated for this paper is the Doodle Pro by Fischer Price, designed for children
3 and up. This product has been available for 42 years, or since 1974 when originally created as the
"Magna Doodle" by Pilot Pen Corporation. It was later bought out by Fischer Price, the specific
creator is unknown (Freudenrich, 2008). The Doodle Pro contains an attached stylus and 4 different
shapes. It works as a magnetic drawing board that has 2 screens with a honey–comb lattice like
structure in between the screens that contains finely cut iron. When the stylus touches the screen it
draws the iron to the top layer of plastic, where it stays in whatever shaped intended until erased,
creating a no–mess chalkboard (Fischer–Price, 2016). It is designed to allow children to explore and
practice writing and drawing in a more creative and open way, where it is seen as fun and not work.
The product works to mimic an individual writing or drawing normally, the child picks up the
attached stylus and draws as they like, and when they are finished with that particular picture they
slide the eraser button across the bottom of the screen to clear the picture and start again. To see a
visual of the product, Doodle Pro, please refer to Appendix A. This allows for practicing of the
essential skills and penmanship, and confidence children will need throughout their lives. The
targeted audience for this project is to school aged children both male and female, from the ages of

The Scarlet Ibis Analysis
Dead brother walking
Picture if you had a disabled person in your family who would not turn out like you wanted to. Who
cant run, play, climb and ride bikes with. This is true for "2 out of 10,000 babies that are born"
according to CNN. But for this family and this older brother it changed his life. In the story scarlet
ibis Doodle was born. His brother did not like him much, he even thought about killing his brother.
But then his mind changed and his brother decide to teach Doodle to walk. After Doodle learned to
walk the brother pushed Doodle harder and harder. But then the time came when Doodle could not
take the pressure and then he died while running home in the rain. From this pride mixed with love
can still be harmful by symbolism and climax in the story The Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst.
One way that pride can be mixed with love and be harmful is through climax. The brother took
doodle to the swamp and then rain started to come when they were on the lake. So they had to rush
back home. The boys did this by running which sets a lot of pressure on Doodle. because of that
Doodle fell once, but got back up and started running again. But after that Brother said " I heard
Doodle, who had fallen behind, cry out", "Brother, Brother, don't leave me!"(Hurst,6). Relative to
the beginning where Doodle was left on the ladder he cried to his brother not to leave him. Because
Brother took Doodle to the shed where he made Doodle touch the coffin which he was supposed to
be in. But

A Summary Of The Short StoryScarlet Ibis
Everyone is faced with struggles throughout their life; however people find their own unique ways
to thrive through hardships. In the short story Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst you learn about a child
named Doodle born with a medical condition but through not giving up, being brave, working hard,
he was able to overcome some challenges. Only, to be pushed too far to death by his older brother
who did not want to pull his brother in a wagon.
With a family already preparing to bury this little baby boy in a coffin before he would see three
months Doodle has other ideas of when his life will come to an end. Wanting nothing else in the
world the narrator wanted a brother who was just as athletically capable as him, only with great
fight would that be possible. Everyone from the family knew that he would never be all straight in
the head. "However, one afternoon as I watched him him, my head poked between the iron post of
the foot of the bed, he looked straight at me, and grinned. I skipped through the rooms, down the
echoing halls, shouting, "Mama, he smiled. He's all there! He's all there!" and he was. Doodle was
given the adversity of this heart condition but he had proved everyone wrong once and he would
definitely do it several more times and continue to fight for a better life."Trembling, he'd push
himself up, turning first red, then a soft purple, and finally collapse back onto the bed like a an old
worn out doll." Doodle did not give up easily he wanted better for his life, just like his brother had
wished for. Doodle may have been born invalid at birth, but he sure wasn't going to stay that way.
Doodle prevailed during his time he also was a fighter and battled to get stronger and better with his
older brothers help.
Not wanting to be pulled down by a wagon on the daily from pulling Doodle his brother set out to
help him learn to walk after showing Doodle the casket that was made for him when he was just a
baby. Teaching him to walk this would not be a easy process since he could only barely crawl.
Doodle would need to gather all the muscle he could and work very hard to accomplish being able
to walk. Working daily down in Horsehead Landing through the tough days they were able to get

Why I Want To Doodle
Most people like to doodle or draw but most don't plan on making a business out of it. I particularly
draw zentangles which is the creation of images through repetitive patterns. I learned about the art
of zentangles when I was in eighth grade through my art teacher. Since then I have been hooked on
drawing zentangles in any spare time that I have. For me it is all about seeing different items or
images and turning it into something new and creative. It usually takes me a couple of hours to
complete one zentangle due to all the detail I enjoy adding in.
My freshman year of high school I continued to draw and improve on my zentagles. Due to the fact
that I enjoyed drawing them so much I decided I would make a career out of it. I have always

Characters In William Armstrong's The Scarlet Ibis
Have you ever read about two characters that have so many things in common? Well, in "The
Scarlet Ibis", the main character William Armstrong shares many similarities with the beautiful red
bird that is found limp in a tree outside of the family's house. Early in the book, we find out that the
main character, known as Doodle, had many complications at birth, which lead to the severe health
problems he now has to face throughout his childhood. These problems were the reasons why
Doodle was not normal like the kids around him. Walking, swimming, running, and playing outside
were all things that Doodle had trouble partaking in. We are introduced to the Scarlet Ibis in the
middle of the book in a depressing, yet beautiful way. When we meet the bird, it is lying in a tree,
weak and frail. Quickly, we find a similarity that the two characters share. Doodle and the Ibis both
have something pushing them until they die. For instance, Doodles brother was non stop pushing
him to be better and better each day. "He collapsed onto the grass like a half–empty flour sack. It
was as if he had no bones in his little legs. "Don't hurt me, Brother, he warned" (Hurst 467). As you
can see, Doodle is forced daily to try to stand on his own, in the field near their house, which is not
healthy for him. Knowing that Doodle has internal problems, you would have thought that his
brother would not have pushed him so hard. Why would his brother be pushing him when he has so
many problems, you may ask.

Doodle Dialectical Journal
Yes, I truly believe the cause of Doodles death was all caused by his selfish brother. The narrator
only cared about a brother who fit his standards not the one he already had. The narrator never
spoke or thought about the safety of Doodle. Just think of this, the narrator was focused on having a
brother who can walk. Why? Well he was embarrassed of the one he already had. To support what I
believe in, the narrator stated "What are you crying for?" asked Daddy, but I couldn't answer. They
did not know that I did it for myself, that pride, whose slave I was, spoke to me louder than all their
voices, and that Doodle walked only because I was ashamed of having a crippled brother."Pg 3 This
quote shows and proves to us that the narrator was more focused on not having a crippled brother
instead of the one he already had. Doodle never got to live his life, but if his brother never ... Show

Picture Pass Doodle System Analysis

  • 1. Picture Pass Doodle System Analysis 4.3 Security and attacks Security is the most significant factor in authentication scheme. Our participants were enquired about how they often change their passwords and whether they have different passwords for different accounts, their answers were that they do not do that often; therefore, this would increase possibility of attacks. Here we briefly introduce some of the possible attacks which could break the Picture Pass Doodle system. 4.3.1 Shoulder surfing It is possible for an attack get the information by using direct observation methods , such as while a user enters a password , the attacks records the input or watches over the user's shoulder [1]. The attack can be applied to both touchscreen and non–touchscreen devices. To effectively prevent shoulder surfing, the disappearing stroke should be provided by default. This means that after the user has enter a stroke, it disappears. Users should be given the option to select line snaking where the line ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 3. Yankee Doodle Essay Over the course of nearly 260 years of social and political happenings and Fourth of July celebrations, the easily malleable ditty has spawned a vast multitude of improvised verses, which both feed and are testimony to its lasting appeal as a veritable 'song of the people'. However, this does create some problems. Yankee Doodle's celebrated melody is one of the very few things about the song that have remained constant throughout its history. With a long history of continual adaptation and evolution, its lyrical origins are more difficult to pinpoint. It is unsurprising that there is little iron–clad evidence for each aspect of a traditional song whose composition was born of on–the–go, impromptu improvisation. Even the most commonly accepted ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Both Lucy Locket and the afore–mentioned harvest song make it clear that only later adaptations began to advance toward truly conveying the meaning that Yankee Doodle did. Supposedly, the first major such adaptation that bore a clear resemblance to Yankee Doodle as we know it, was a jibe at Oliver Cromwell . Cromwell was, at the time, a subject ripe for satire: the politico–military leader's rise to dictatorial power in the 1600s during and after the English Civil War made him an extremely divisive figure. Nankee Doodle (or, Oliver Cromwell) went to town, A–riding on a pony; Stuck a feather in his hat, And called it macaroni. The verse is attributed to the Cavaliers , and is said to allude to a visit that Cromwell made to Oxford to accept their surrender during the Civil War. Except the use of 'Nankee' instead of 'Yankee' and 'hat' instead of 'cap', these lyrics are exactly those of the song we know today. And thus, they beg the question of their meanings. What or who is a Nankee Doodle? If it is Cromwell, why was he styled as such? Perhaps most perplexingly, why did he stick a feather in his hat and invoke ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Theme Of Seasons And Seasons In The Scarlet Ibis By... It is impossible to find a family that is problem free and does not go through its ups and downs. Seasons often marks a progress, here it not only sets the way for Doodles progress of becoming like a normal boy, but it is used as a way to show the growth of the sibling relationship between the two brothers. Seasons and weather play an important role in setting the tone and mood of the story. An example of the motif of seasons and weather is seen in the short story "The Scarlet Ibis" by James Hurst as doodles progress goes along with each season. This motif is used to develop the relationship between Doodle and his brother as evident through the clove of seasons, summer, and storms. dd At the beginning of the story Doodles brother, the narrator, recalls that "It was the clove of seasons, Summer was dead but autumn had not yet been born"(9). The literal meaning to the clove of seasons is the in between of seasons but in this story it represents uncertainty for what's about to happen and an end to happy days. At first the brother was excited to be getting a new brother and someone to play with and so was the rest of the family to be getting a new addition to the family. That happiness soon ends when Doodle is born with a head disproportionate to his "tiny body which was red and shriveled like an old man"(9). Doodles brother calls him a disappointment and the whole family thinks that he is going to die, except for his aunt Nicey that remains hopeful throughout. Nobody knows ... • 5. How To Make A Doodle It is a great big world out there, especially for a doodle. I have oodles of doodle gumption and zest for life, but sometimes human things can be a bit intimidating. Over the last few months, my mom and dad worked really hard to help me face my fears and keep my adventurous spirit. Now, because I am who I am and I am one of those dogs who lives to eat instead of eats to live; treats really helped me feel good about some potentially tough scenarios. People use this trick too. For example, you may occasionally enjoy comfort food to ease your stress or anxiety – there is a reason the M&M jar in the office never stays full. • 6. Personal Narrative: My Doodle When I was in seventh grade I was constantly drawing eyes; all of my papers and all of my notebooks were littered with them, in all different shapes and colors. When I graduated from middle school to high school, my affinity for eyes expanded to a love of human features in general. For as long as I can remember I've been inspired by all the different shapes, sizes, colors, and features people have, however, I never realized this until I began to express it through art. People, especially faces, are the largest source of inspiration to me, so of course that is what I drew for my doodle. • 7. How Are The Scarlet Ibis And Doodle Alike A Red–Feathered Flyer and a Challenged Child The scarlet ibis and Doodle are very similar and reflect each other masterfully in this short story. To begin, the scarlet ibis and Doodle share many physical attributes that are easy to identify. The book describes the bird in a way that makes it appear that something is not quite right. It does not fear humans like any normal bird does, and it is not sitting in a typical bird perching position. Doodle is just like this bird, but he had these traits as a human. Doodle has been atypical from birth, being born with a very minute body that was terribly shriveled. He was unable to walk, run, or play like any normal human being throughout his entire life. Had he survived, his peers would have left him in the dust at any type of physical ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Just like these character's inability to fit in physically, their roles are quite strange and are not normal. Unlike the majority of people, Doodle possessed an incredible imagination that can make up wonderful stories without any effort whatsoever. However, he lacked physical capability, seemed to have an irrational fear of being left alone, was shamed by his family for the first two years of his life, and appeared emotionally unstable at times throughout the story. All of these characteristics do not meet the standard for a regular being in society. Likewise, the scarlet ibis had one attribute that rose above the average caliber for its environment. This was its beauty. The story mentioned that even in death, the ibis was beautiful. It also mentioned that it looked out of place, was uncoordinated, and appeared weak. Those traits are not customary and make this bird appear unwanted or unconventional in its environment. The roles that each character plays in their respective environments are just about as alike as they can be, which further implies a strong ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Doodle Armstrong Death Analysis Your honor, we all have our different opinions about the death of Doodle Armstrong. But I am here to tell you why I believe that Doodle's brother was the cause of this tragic death. Brother left Doodle back in the rain when he KNEW he had problems walking, he was very cruel to Doodle, and he ALWAYS put himself before Doodle. At the end of the case your honor you will know that brother was the cause to the death of Doodle Armstrong. Judge Meedel I would like to start off by showing you how brother impacted in this death. Doodle struggled when it came to walking and brother knew that but he didn't seem to care. If he cared then he would have stopped and help Doodle through the storm but he DIDN'T, he left him there. On record we have that brother states "I ran as fast as i could, leaving him far behind with a wall of rain dividing us."(6) Therefore, brother left doodle all the way in the back struggling but did he care.... Nope. As brother was running away you could hear the words of Doodle shout out "Brother, Brother, don't leave me! Don't leave me." (6)That did no good because brother just kept on going. • 11. Comparing Doodle To Christ When comparing doodle to Christ through symbolizism, in my opinion, there is really no way to really compare, unless your preference of religion allows for hate, disrespect or the ability to ignore the significance of such practice. Doodling is an activity that, for the most part, isn't taken seriously. An artist just draws aimlessly without any thought or serious consideration involved and no real attention invested. So, how can something of the such be compared to something that people give their life and devotion to without a doubt in their mind and also pass down to their families to adopt? I don't see the comparison, it can't be one. Let's first understand the concept of doodle. A person sits at their desk, with basically nothing on their mind and creates a picture of a rose. How can this rose symbolize anything of significance if there wasn't a plan of action or thought involved at the time of or before creating it? In my opinion the rose isn't significant and worthless no matter if da ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Christ symbolizes, devotion, belief , sacrifice, love and life! Doodling symbolizes, absent mindedness, time wasting or perhaps not paying attendion the what the Pastor is preaching about during church. Chriistians devote their entire life to Christ. Doodlers devote the time that it takes to kill time or to stay occupied while the pastor or home room teacher is teaching. • 12. Richard Shuckburgh's Influences for Writing Yankee Doodle... Richard Shuckburgh was an army doctor stationed at a fort in Albany, New York during the middle of the 18th century. He was authorized as a doctor for the "Independent Company of New York" in June 1737. Shuckburgh is believed to have been the writer of the song "Yankee Doodle." The initial lyrics to musical compositions that were affiliated with the American Revolution, were authentically composed in the time of the French and Indian War. It is believed that Shuckburgh wrote "Yankee Doodle" to insult the New England military. He wrote that song while stationed at Fort Crailo, after watching a messy training drill of the Connecticut military unit. Shuckburgh's writings and existing records justify the authentic composition date sometime in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A New York newspaper referred to Shuckburgh as "a gentlemen of a very genteel family, and of infinite jest and humor," after his death on August 1773 in Schenectady. Two years following, the Revolutionary War had begun and the British military utilized the musical composition to tease the disobedient Americans, whom soon after took the song and changed the melody after defeating the "redcoats" in action. Yankee Doodle was originally a band melody that no one has sung collectively. The single stanza kenned to everyone was not a component of the Revolutionary War song, however it affiliated with a prior era in history. By 1764 Yankee Doodle was present in England, and by 1767 the melody was adequately well–known in America that it was quoted in an opera. Regardless of investigation, the inchoation of the lyrics aren't kenned precisely. Possibly the most logical inchoation is an ancient English children's cadence, "Lucy Locket." In spite of its inception, it is keened that the British utilized the melody to fulminate Americans afore the Revolutionary War, tracing back to the French and Indian War. Shuckburgh was so regaled at the discernment of the soldiers that he fixated to make fun of them by mounting a couple of preposterous words into an English melody. "Yankee" attributes to the British soldiers. However, the inception of "Doodle" is undiscovered. The lyrics that were utilized pristinely isn't kenned because of the fact that ... As the family begins to walk out into the yard due to the "strange croaking noise" they see a bird which had gone through a storm that was "the size of a chicken with scarlet feathers" and after a "moment the bird began to flutter, but the wings were uncoordinated", so the bird "tumbled to the ground"(99). This realization conveys that the bird had determination to survive, otherwise it would have lost its life in the storm. It began in my freshman days as I noticed one of my classmate liked to itch his neck when he was called by the teacher. Then I noticed my other classmate liked to tap her pen on the right side of her notebook ten times at a time, like some sort of frequent beat in her head, and it happened daily. • 17. The Scarlet Ibis Doodle Character Traits Character Traits of Doodle The short story "The Scarlet Ibis" is written by James Hurst. The story is about two brothers, One of which, Doodle, is disabled and has many physical limitations. The older brother is ashamed and embarrassed by his Doodle's limitations, and tries to 'normalize' him by attempting to teach him how to walk, swim, run, climb and other strenuous physical activities. Throughout the story, the older brother finds out a lot about his brother and his personality, though he fails to learn anything of value. The author uses symbolism and indirect characterization to illustrate Doodle's uniqueness and sensitivity. The use of symbolism shows Doodle's uniqueness by comparing him to the exotic and out of place ibis which the family found in their backyard. For example, the narrator refers to Doodle as his "fallen scarlet ibis" shortly after his death. This shows that there is an intentional connection between the two. By comparing ... For example, when the narrator took Doodle to Old Woman's Swamp, "he began to cry" and when asked for an explanation he says, "It's so pretty... so pretty, pretty, pretty." This shows that he is easily affected by beauty and is easily overwhelmed by emotions. This lets us know that he is a sensitive person, and how easily he can be overwhelmed by something new, In addition, Doodle reacts strongly to the death of the ibis, his "hands were clasped at his throat" as he stood unusually still, and afterwards says, "I'm not hungry" when offered dessert. This shows that a death can drastically change his mannerism and appetite. This also shows that he is more easily overwhelmed than the rest of his family, highlighting his extreme sensitivity. • 22. A Report On Google Doodle he Google Doodle was first introduced in 1998 before google had even taken off. Larry and Sergey, who are the founders of Google, played with the logo for google before google had made it's day view at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. They had originally placed a stick man figure behind the second "o" in the word Google. This was for a comical message saying that the workers were out of the office. Although the first doodle as quite simple, the idea would spark something that would carry until this very day in age. The purpose of doodles is not only to grab the person's attention when they get to the google homepage. It also has a historical presence to it. The first logo had a stick man behind the "o". This google was created because they were at the Burn Man festival which is notable celebration. Now the logo is used for other notable celebrations, contributions, birthdays, remembrance, and holidays. Then later in 2000, Larry and Sergey hired an intern named Dennis Hwang to make a doodle for Bastille Day. It was so well done that he was put in charge of every doodle on the Google's homepage. Since then, Dennis Hwang and his team called doodlers have created and drawn more than 2000 doodles. These doodles are shown throughout the world and are shown on the day corresponding to the date of the celebration, contributions, birthdays, remembrance, and holidays. • 26. Doodle In The Scarlet Ibis Most people would come to believe the fact that an ibis cannot relate to a human being, but that can be proven wrong. Throughout the story, Doodle and the ibis were persistent, yet active, due to the fact that they never gave up. In the story, "The Scarlet Ibis," by James Hurth, Doodle is a boy who has physical weaknesses, so it is difficult for him to do things that a normal child would be able to do. Most ibis are able to fly, however, the scarlet ibis is not capable because it has its own weaknesses. As Doodle grows up, he gains these negative energies from his surroundings that makes him feel as if he won't be able to survive as long. Doodle was persistent, since he was motivated and determined. In the story, it says, "Doodle, don't you want to learn to walk? He'd nod his head, and I'd say, well if you don't keep trying, you'll never learn" (Hurst, 598). Being persistent and active played a big role in both of their lives. It isn't implied that Doodle never gave up, but from what the brother said to keep trying instead of giving up, one may see that Doodle didn't give up. If Doodle had given up, it would have meant that he would have never learned how to walk. The scarlet ibis traveled around, and it was strange, since it came out of nowhere, and ... • 31. Self Pride In The Scarlet Ibis By James In the the story "The Scarlet Ibis" by James, Hurst shows his audience that self pride is a positive aspect in this story, it can help people get through difficult obstacles they have in life, but when people worry too much about their self pride it can lead to hurting others physically and mentally. Pride can be positive and can help people overcome the difficult struggles they are going through, and can also lead to bonding or getting closer. In this story, the narrator has a disabled brother whos parents and doctor both don't believe he is able to learn to walk. The narrator doesn't think of Doodle as a brother, but as someone who is disabled and tries to fix him by helping him learn to walk. One piece of evidence that shows that pride is positive in the story, is when the narrator shows how he cares about Doodle and wants him to get better by helping him learn how to walk. After he got to know Doodle a little bit more he felt more connected and believed that he would learn to walk and put in the effort to help him learn. "I'm going to teach you to walk, Doodle.' I said. 'I can't walk brother,' He said. 'Who says so?' I demanded. 'Mama, the doctor––everybody.' 'Oh you can walk" (Hurst 3). This quote shows how pride can lead to helping someone get through something they are struggling with, because it says "I'm going to teach you to walk, Doodle." he's very confident in the way he asserts his ability to teach Doodle to walk he does this instead of saying "I am going to try" or asking it as a question "Would you like me to?" These are both less confident ways he could go about asking. Then another part of the quote that stood out was when the author wrote the narrator saying " 'Oh you can walk' " to his brother, Doodle. He's dismissing his mother and the doctor who are both older and more knowledgeable than him. This elaborates on the fact that the narrator shows a tremendous amount of pride and arrogance throughout the story. This shows that the narrator had fueled Doodle's desire to succeed for his brother because the narrator pushed him to be normal, thus Doodle being able to walk. This product has been available for 42 years, or since 1974 when originally created as the "Magna Doodle" by Pilot Pen Corporation. It was later bought out by Fischer Price, the specific creator is unknown (Freudenrich, 2008). The Doodle Pro contains an attached stylus and 4 different shapes. It works as a magnetic drawing board that has 2 screens with a honey–comb lattice like structure in between the screens that contains finely cut iron. When the stylus touches the screen it draws the iron to the top layer of plastic, where it stays in whatever shaped intended until erased, creating a no–mess chalkboard (Fischer–Price, 2016). It is designed to allow children to explore and practice writing and drawing in a more creative and open way, where it is seen as fun and not work. The product works to mimic an individual writing or drawing normally, the child picks up the attached stylus and draws as they like, and when they are finished with that particular picture they slide the eraser button across the bottom of the screen to clear the picture and start again. In the short story Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst you learn about a child named Doodle born with a medical condition but through not giving up, being brave, working hard, he was able to overcome some challenges. Only, to be pushed too far to death by his older brother who did not want to pull his brother in a wagon. With a family already preparing to bury this little baby boy in a coffin before he would see three months Doodle has other ideas of when his life will come to an end. Wanting nothing else in the world the narrator wanted a brother who was just as athletically capable as him, only with great fight would that be possible. Everyone from the family knew that he would never be all straight in the head. "However, one afternoon as I watched him him, my head poked between the iron post of the foot of the bed, he looked straight at me, and grinned. I skipped through the rooms, down the echoing halls, shouting, "Mama, he smiled. He's all there! He's all there!" and he was. Doodle was given the adversity of this heart condition but he had proved everyone wrong once and he would definitely do it several more times and continue to fight for a better life."Trembling, he'd push himself up, turning first red, then a soft purple, and finally collapse back onto the bed like a an old worn out doll." • 36. Why I Want To Doodle Most people like to doodle or draw but most don't plan on making a business out of it. I particularly draw zentangles which is the creation of images through repetitive patterns. I learned about the art of zentangles when I was in eighth grade through my art teacher. Since then I have been hooked on drawing zentangles in any spare time that I have. For me it is all about seeing different items or images and turning it into something new and creative. It usually takes me a couple of hours to complete one zentangle due to all the detail I enjoy adding in. My freshman year of high school I continued to draw and improve on my zentagles. Due to the fact that I enjoyed drawing them so much I decided I would make a career out of it. I have always ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 38. Characters In William Armstrong's The Scarlet Ibis Have you ever read about two characters that have so many things in common? Well, in "The Scarlet Ibis", the main character William Armstrong shares many similarities with the beautiful red bird that is found limp in a tree outside of the family's house. Early in the book, we find out that the main character, known as Doodle, had many complications at birth, which lead to the severe health problems he now has to face throughout his childhood. These problems were the reasons why Doodle was not normal like the kids around him. Walking, swimming, running, and playing outside were all things that Doodle had trouble partaking in. We are introduced to the Scarlet Ibis in the middle of the book in a depressing, yet beautiful way. When we meet the bird, it is lying in a tree, weak and frail. Quickly, we find a similarity that the two characters share. Doodle and the Ibis both have something pushing them until they die. For instance, Doodles brother was non stop pushing him to be better and better each day. "He collapsed onto the grass like a half–empty flour sack. It was as if he had no bones in his little legs. "Don't hurt me, Brother, he warned" (Hurst 467). As you can see, Doodle is forced daily to try to stand on his own, in the field near their house, which is not healthy for him. Knowing that Doodle has internal problems, you would have thought that his brother would not have pushed him so hard. Why would his brother be pushing him when he has so many problems, you may ask. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. Doodle Dialectical Journal Yes, I truly believe the cause of Doodles death was all caused by his selfish brother. The narrator only cared about a brother who fit his standards not the one he already had. The narrator never spoke or thought about the safety of Doodle. Just think of this, the narrator was focused on having a brother who can walk. Why? Well he was embarrassed of the one he already had. To support what I believe in, the narrator stated "What are you crying for?" asked Daddy, but I couldn't answer. They did not know that I did it for myself, that pride, whose slave I was, spoke to me louder than all their voices, and that Doodle walked only because I was ashamed of having a crippled brother."Pg 3 This quote shows and proves to us that the narrator was more focused on not having a crippled brother instead of the one he already had. Doodle never got to live his life, but if his brother never ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The thing is did he leave Doodle to die or did he leave Doodle because he thought that Doodle could walk by himself. Also, in page 6 it stated,"I stopped and waited for Doodle... Finally I went back" Pg 6 The narrator should have never left Doodle alone knowing his conditions he has.If the narrator knew why did he do it.The narrator declared,"He had been bleeding from the mouth, and his neck and the front of his shirt were stained a brilliant red. "Doodle! Doodle!" I cried, shaking him, but there was no answer but the ropy rain. He lay very awkwardly, with his head thrown far back, making his vermilion neck appear unusually long and slim. His little legs, bent sharply at the knees, had never before seemed so fragile, so thin." Pg 6 Doodle could not survive being left alone and his brother knew ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
