English singer and songwriter who rose to worldwide fame as a co–founder of the band The Beatles,

after challenge to overcome throughout his life. John Lennon was a talented political activist who
was the co–leader of one of the biggest bands in the history of music, making him one of the most
influential artist of all time.
John Lennon was a young boy when his father, Alfred, left his family, leaving his mother, Julia, to
give John up to his aunt Mimi. His mother still visited and with help from other family members,
taught him how to play instruments like the banjo and harmonica. This was the start of John's love
