This unit plan teaches 2nd grade students about displaying data and graphs over 5 days. Day 1 introduces different types of graphs. Day 2 focuses on the parts of graphs. Days 3 and 4 go into depth about bar graphs, line graphs, pie graphs and pictographs. Day 5 reviews all graphs and includes an assessment. The plan incorporates various technologies like posters, webquests, blogs, videos and podcasts.

Abstract
My unit plan is about teaching a 2nd grade classroom. In this unit plan I am teaching them about
displaying data and graphs. The first day, I am focusing on introducing graphs to the students by briefly
talking about each graph and its uses. The second day is focused on introducing the parts of the graph.
On the third day, I will go in depth about the bar graph and line graph. On the fourth day, I will be
teaching about the pie graph and pictograph. Then on the fifth day, is the review of all the graphs and
the assessment. For this unit plan, it will include several types of technology including, posters,
webquests, blogs, videos, podcast, and voki.
