Recent progress in ultrafast lasers gained a lot of interest to investigate ever faster physical
processes in atoms, molecules, and solid state surfaces. This advancement gave birth to a broad field
of science crossing physics, chemistry, and biology; known as "Ultrafast Science" for which Zewail
got the Nobel prize in 1999. But, following electron dynamics in real time, watching the formation
or breaking of chemical bonds, or the transfer of electrons from one constituent to another has been
a dream and challenge for a long time in this field. The never–ending quest to study the time–
resolved dynamics (also known as "Ultrafast molecular movies") pushing the probes to attosecond
(10–18 seconds) and even zeptosecond (10–21 seconds) domain. Only with the advent of attosecond
pulse generation, time–resolved dynamics near the ground state (the period of a Bohr orbit ≈ 150 as)
came into reach. These ultrafast electric field probes can be used to drive electrons with petahertz
(1015 Hz) frequencies also in nanometer scale systems (a new research domain known as
"lightwave electronics" is emerged from this idea).
The proposed laboratory aims at developing cross–disciplinary studies in ultrafast dynamics by
establishing and creating innovative laser technology.

the potential applications such as nonlinear optics (NLO) and laser (mainly in visible and UV light)
engineering.2, 3, 4, 5 Materials with NLO properties are useful for generating new frequency laser
sources that cannot be directly produced from the common laser sources.2 Consequently, NLO
materials have enabled a wider range of frequencies produced from the available laser. Borate
materials have a few great properties, for example, short growth period, high damage threshold,
large effective nonlinear coefficient and good mechanical properties.6 This suggests that borate
materials are well fitted for the purpose of laser frequency conversion. BaB2O4, LiB3O5, CsB3O5

mathematical optimization that includes methods like linear programming, dynamic programming,
integer programming, Pontryagin's maximum principle and nonlinear programming. Linear

country and the outstock FDI for the donor country. The former is used as a proxy for the

The faculty decided to use Extreme Programming as the method for the Foundations course because
it was an agile method, it had good engineering practices, and it was a safe sandbox environment for
engineers to try paired programming since many managers in industry were initially skeptical about
its benefits. In 2005, the faculty allowed three of the sixteen teams tried our new curriculum to see if
there were any serious issues in the switch, while other thirteen teams continued to follow a start
point in 2004. The feedback was extremely positive so in 2006, all teams followed Extreme
Programming. For the project plan duration, Waterfall teams needed fifteen weeks to finish their
tasks where as Extreme Programming teams were given only thirteen weeks, a 13% reduction in
time.

scratch would be easier than working with the existing code base. Team 30:1 decided to use the

together and against all odds puts on a fantastical fair the likes of which will never be seen again.
The other a prolific serial killer who used the chaos of the fair to catch, kill, and dispose of victims
with great facility. To tell these stories Larson employs a varieties of techniques to convey his tales
in the way he envisioned. In particular he seems to draw heavily on nonlinear narrative techniques.
Larson routinely jumps from the present, to the past, to Larson's present, and back to present. He
exercises these techniques as a means of engaging his audience and to entertain his readers.

nonlinear dynamics might decrease the performance of controller drastically. In this paper, a new
method for designing MPC controllers in state space is proposed for a class of nonlinear processes.
In the proposed method, first an MPC controller is designed in state space based on a linear model
and then, it is modified using Modal Series to compensate the effect of neglected nonlinear
dynamics. At the end, the proposed method is applied to control two real systems and the results are
