A Research Proposal On Kanaka Raju Pandiri
Research Proposal

Recent progress in ultrafast lasers gained a lot of interest to investigate ever faster physical
processes in atoms, molecules, and solid state surfaces. This advancement gave birth to a broad field
of science crossing physics, chemistry, and biology; known as "Ultrafast Science" for which Zewail
got the Nobel prize in 1999. But, following electron dynamics in real time, watching the formation
or breaking of chemical bonds, or the transfer of electrons from one constituent to another has been
a dream and challenge for a long time in this field. The never–ending quest to study the time–
resolved dynamics (also known as "Ultrafast molecular movies") pushing the probes to attosecond
(10–18 seconds) and even zeptosecond (10–21 seconds) domain. Only with the advent of attosecond
pulse generation, time–resolved dynamics near the ground state (the period of a Bohr orbit ≈ 150 as)
came into reach. These ultrafast electric field probes can be used to drive electrons with petahertz
(1015 Hz) frequencies also in nanometer scale systems (a new research domain known as
"lightwave electronics" is emerged from this idea).
The proposed laboratory aims at developing cross–disciplinary studies in ultrafast dynamics by
establishing and creating innovative laser technology.
Science goals:
Ultrafast dynamics the field of research aims to track and possibly control the motion of electrons
and nuclei in matter at their shortest

Since the successful demonstration of second harmonic generation by a propagation of a ruby laser
beam via a quartz crystal by Franken et al,1 borate materials have been widely studied to employ in
the potential applications such as nonlinear optics (NLO) and laser (mainly in visible and UV light)
engineering.2, 3, 4, 5 Materials with NLO properties are useful for generating new frequency laser
sources that cannot be directly produced from the common laser sources.2 Consequently, NLO
materials have enabled a wider range of frequencies produced from the available laser. Borate
materials have a few great properties, for example, short growth period, high damage threshold,
large effective nonlinear coefficient and good mechanical properties.6 This suggests that borate
materials are well fitted for the purpose of laser frequency conversion. BaB2O4, LiB3O5, CsB3O5
and YCa4(BO3)3O are examples of well–known borate–based NLO crystals.2 An early review on
the comparison of the damage threshold and optical transmittance of these mentioned borate crystal
compounds have been done by Becker in which the use of the favourable anionic group and
birefringence in the borate materials are the essential features needed to produce

Decision making is the most important aspect of any matter...
Decision making is the most important aspect of any matter one confronts in the physical world. The
success or failure of a project, business, operation, company etc. is directly proportional to the
logical reasoning carried out to reach a decision. Bad/ suboptimal decisions can ruin/damage
business, project, reputation and careers. Past few decades of research into the decision making
paradigm has highlighted that bad decisions are a byproduct of distortions and biases that
incapacitate our reasoning. Most of our decision making is heuristic in nature that serves perfectly
well in most of the situations. However, when the problem is large enough, one tends to ignore or
poorly identify the details that must be taken into account in order ... Show more content on

The problem of finding an optimal solution under given constraints belongs to the discipline of
mathematical optimization that includes methods like linear programming, dynamic programming,
integer programming, Pontryagin's maximum principle and nonlinear programming. Linear
programming has been popular since its introduction and has helped solve many real world
problems yet it suffers from a grave limitation i.e. the real world is not linear which restricts its use
to linear optimization problems or to the ones that can be approximated as linear models. Problems
with strong nonlinearities will not give a feasible solution if approximated via linear models.
Nonlinear programming addresses these limitations but is far more difficult to implement and needs
more computational power to solve problems. In this paper we review the nonlinear programming
technique and the way it can help solve a complex optimization problem. The paper is organized as
follows. In section 2 we define the optimization problem and its mathematics. In section 3 we
discuss the nonlinear programming, its origin, uses and the software programs that can be used to
aid problem solving. Section 4 is an example of optimization problem and its solution via nonlinear
programming. In section 5, we give the conclusion.
2. Optimization Problem
Mathematically an optimization problem is defined as follows: where is called the objective or cost
function to be optimized subject to m inequality constraints

Essay On My Childhood Day
During my childhood days, every single time it rained, I would wait just to hear the thunder. Every
lightning strike was so powerful with its terrifying sound, yet it worked with the same principle that
explained the bits of paper clinging to a charged fur cloth rubbed on a cat. It was very enchanting for
me to learn that all the extreme and massive events which took place could be explained by the same
laws which govern our daily experiences. Learning physics would unravel the nature of these
events, all around me. Every single time I gaze at the sky, I could not help but realise that those stars
which sparkle at a distance are nothing but bodies just like our sun and most of them are still bigger.
During my school days, my biggest awe was just to realise how miniscule we were and that the
universe was ever expanding. The most interesting fact for me was to admire the ... Show more

the human brain and this is a joyous facet of science to me.
My curiosity to know and understand the workings of the things around me has led to my interest in

Designing A Brand Market Analysis
Design The Design Phase is what brings the user experience to life. It's a process of structured
brainstorming to answer the critical questions around design, prototyping, and testing new ideas.
Creating an amazing experience consists of simple functionality, powerful usability, and creative
thoughtfulness. Our mission–take great functionality–pair it with the best user experience possible.
Since conception, we have always believed in simplicity. We believe simplicity results in getting to
the core of a brand and understanding what it truly represents. Then we make every part consistent
with that core. Bellwether starts by instilling the essence of your new brand down to its core–
primary and secondary colors, clean logo, styleguide. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bellwether creates 2–3 logo alternatives during this phase and sits down with the client to finalize
one logo that represents their brand. Brand Creation In our brand creation phase Bellwether takes a
newly established logo and creates a matching brand style guide. Your brand style guide defines
what your company's brand elements are and how they should be applied across marketing
materials. It can go as far as to address the type of photography style that should be used, state the
distance a logo should be from an edge, dictate how copy should be written, and even communicate
how signage and furniture should look in a real–world environment. Prototype With the logo and
branding guide in place we are ready to pursue our final interface. The prototyping phase is where
our design team brings everything together: here we apply what we learned in the discovery along
with the new branded style guide, and mock up our final designs. Development Creating great
software is more than just organization. It's about maintaining good code quality while holding our
developers accountable. Bellwether takes code quality very serious and we have developed a few
well known methods to ensure that our code integrity remains constant. Once a developer considers
their user story, complete, we run it through the following. Acceptance Tests Test Driven

The Non Alcoholic Beverage Segment
The non–alcoholic beverage segment is a very competitive and dynamic sector and encompasses a
broad range of categories as showed in the chart below: The market size is currently around $ 170
billion in sales and is projected to grow to $190 billion by 2020. As the graph below points out, the
CSDs remain the largest single sub–category within the segment. However, as the CSD sub–
category continues to decline, it is expected that most of the segment growth will be driven by
smaller, emerging "better–for–you" brands.
In reality, many of these sub–categories are already experiencing a growth driven by both the
increasing demand for healthier, better–for–you alternatives and the companies ' abilities to launch
new products with original flavors and innovative packaging.
As outlined in the chart above, between 2003 and 2013, per capita consumption of CSDs decreased
by 23%, while bottled water saw a 105% increase and juices and other noncarbonated drinks
increased 55%. While the CSDs sales are expected to continue declining, other healthier and
functional non–alcoholic beverage categories are expected to continue gaining share.
MARKET TRENDS
At least three factors may be considered as growth propellers in the group of healthy, non–
carbonated beverages. The most important and widely discussed is the growing consumer awareness
and concerns about the effects of diet on health and well–being. This new approach, which has been
producing profound effects on consumption habits,

Intro to System Analysis and Design
Introduction to System Analysis and Design 1. INTRODUCTION Systems are created to solve
problems. One can think of the systems approach as an organized way of dealing with a problem. In
this dynamic world, the subject System Analysis and Design, mainly deals with the software
development activities. 2. Defining Your System A collection of components that work together to
realize some objective forms a system. Basically there are three major components in every system,
namely input, processing and output. [pic] In your system define the different components that are

System Analysis also includes sub–dividing of complex process involving the entire system,
identification of data store and manual processes. The main points you are to discuss in your papers
regarding system analysis are: Specification of what the new system is to accomplish based on the
user requirements. Functional hierarchy showing the functions to be performed by the new system
and their relationship with each other. Function network which are similar to function hierarchy but
they highlight those functions which are common to more than one procedure. List of attributes of
the entities – these are the data items which need to be held about each entity (record) (d) System
Design Based on the user requirements and the detailed analysis of a new system, the new system

Methods for Convex and General Quadratic Programming∗ Philip E. Gill† Elizabeth Wong† UCSD
Department of Mathematics Technical Report NA–10–01 September 2010 Abstract Computational
methods are considered for finding a point that satisfies the secondorder necessary conditions for a
general (possibly nonconvex) quadratic program (QP). The first part of the paper defines a
framework for the formulation and analysis of feasible–point active–set methods for QP. This
framework defines a class of methods in which a primal–dual search pair is the solution of an
equality–constrained subproblem involving a "working set" of linearly independent constraints. This
framework is discussed in the context of two broad classes of active–set method for ... Show more

This reformulation gives the primal–dual search pair as the solution of a KKT–system formed from
the QP Hessian and the working–set constraint gradients. It is shown that, under certain
circumstances, the solution of this KKT–system may be updated using a simple recurrence relation,
thereby giving a significant reduction in the number of KKT systems that need to be solved. The
linear constraints of a QP may include an arbitrary mixture of equality and inequality constraints,
where the inequality constraints may be subject to lower and/or upper bounds. Many mathematically
equivalent formulations of the constraints are possible, and the choice of formulation often depends
on the context. We consider the generic quadratic program minimize n x∈R 1 ϕ(x) = cTx + 2 xTHx
subject to Ax = b, Dx ≥ f, (1.1) where A, b, c, D, f and H are constant, H is symmetric, A is m × n,
and D is mD × n. (In order to simplify the notation, it is assumed that the inequalities involve only
lower bounds.) However, the methods to be described can be generalized to treat all forms of linear
constraints. No assumptions are made about H (other than symmetry), which implies that the
objective ϕ(x) need not be convex. In the nonconvex case, however, convergence will be to local
minimizers only. In Section 4, the nonbinding direction method is extended to problems

Inside The Computer : A Discourse Community
Inside the Computer The idea of groups has been going on for as long as there have been humans.
So it isn't beyond the imagination to find that there are specific terms for different groups. But today,
this essay will be focusing on a single term for a group. This term is called a discourse community.
What is a discourse community? A discourse community is a group of people involved in and
communicating about a particular topic, issue, or in a particular field (Instructure, 2013). And to go
into even more depth about what this essay is about, it has to do with a class that I am in. This class
is called comp 1900, and it is an introduction to computer science course. And the reason why I have
chosen to see this class as a discourse community is because I believe it fits into the six Swales rules
for deciding if a community is a discourse community. The rules go as follows from the "Writing
about Writing" book by Elizabeth Wardle and Doug Downs: "A discourse community has a broadly
agreed set of common public goals."(Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 220) "A discourse community has
mechanisms of intercommunication among its members".(Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 221) "A
discourse community uses its participatory mechanisms primarily to provide information and
feedback." (Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 221) "A discourse community utilizes and hence possesses
one or more genres in the communicative furtherance of its aims."(Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 221)
"In addition to owning genres,

Computers And The Single Computer Platform
Whenever people play on their phones, work on their computers, or are just chilling out and playing
games on the gaming consoles they own they don't ever really think about what's behind the
program, app, or game they are playing. The thought of what makes them up is never really a big
deal and the thought of how much work went into all those tiny details never crosses their minds. It
all just comes together in this one big program that nobody really gives a second thought about.
Whenever I say that word, programming, someone may think just simply building websites or even
making computer games, while these are correct, there is a completely different side to it that isn't
really as fun. This different side includes learning different ... Show more content on

languages that can be changed into binary code, what you want it to do. "These languages range
from high level and obscure to low level and popular" ("Defining High, Mid, and Low Level
Languages"). Number wise there are very many, if you are just counting main languages there are at
a minimum hundreds and if counting all of them including the obscure languages then over a
thousand. Some of the more common ones some of you might have heard of them, mentioned

sides of learning it, this language can be used on different platforms; laptops, desktops, and smart

last of the more common ones I am going to list is C++, which sounds an awful like C but it has a

has features that make it easier to write for higher leveled programs. It can also make small

Notes On The And Flow Data
2 DATAAND OPERATIONALIZATION
Tostudy the impactofpoliticalaffinity onFDI,I employ the datafrom UNCTAD,whichrecord bilateral
FDI stock and flow data for more than 200 countries from 2001 to 2012. Since FDI flow data can be
a poor conceptual choice for answering political questions (Kerner, 2014;
Sorens and Ruger, 2015; Benacek et al., 2014), I choose to use only the stock data.
One possible drawback for UNCTAD data is its compilation by reports from different countries,
which have varied reporting rules and rigorousness. As a result, it may have serious measurement
errors or substantial missing values. However, this weakness appears to plague the other two major
FDI data resources (IMF and OECD) as well. 1 In addition, since biased or ... Show more content on

This choice is mainly out of convenience. It is also workable to use the outstock data instead. The
interpretation will be similar.
2.1 POLITICAL AFFINITY
Admittedly there is no perfect measure for two countries' political closeness. To somehow proxy this
measurement, I use the ideal points compiled by Erik Voeten and colleagues from the UN general
assembly roll–call voting data. 3 This dataset has ideal point estimates for countries from 1946 to
2014. To measure political affinity for a given country pair, I take the absolute value of the
difference between their ideal points and code them as "idealPoint". In this regard, the smaller value
the idealPoint variable is, they closer is the country pair's relationship.
2.2 CONTROLS
As mentioned before, to somehow mitigate the reporting country's biasness, I need to apply controls
over the country's general FDI volume. More importantly, the volume of FDI stock in a certain
country is substantially affected by the attractiveness of the destination and the financial caliber of
the donor country. In this regard, I tally the total volume of both the instock FDI for the recipient
country and the outstock FDI for the donor country. The former is used as a proxy for the
destination's investment attractiveness and the latter for the donor's financial caliber. This way I can
sidestep the use of other economic controls and focus on studying how political affinity affect FDI.

Designing An Interactive Model For Finding The Optimal...
Abstract
The motivation behind this paper is to propose a new approach called objective factorizable
approach based on a decomposition algorithm in an interactive model for finding the optimal
solution to multi–level large scale quadratic programming problem (MLLSQPP), in which the
objective function can be factorized into two single linear objective functions and has block angular
structure of the constraints. What 's more, the author advances the concepts of satisfactoriness as the
upper level decision–makers ' preferences until the preferred solution is come to. The bi–section
method is suggested as an essential solution method to assess these upper level decision–makers '
preferences precisely. Finally, in order to exhibit the proficiency of the proposed model, an
illustrative example is provided.

1. Introduction
Multi–Level Programming (MLP) problems are an arrangement of overlapped hierarchical
optimization problems with numerous decision makers (DMs) over a solitary feasible region. MLP
techniques relegate each DM a unique objective, a set of decision variables, and a set of common
constraints that influence all DMs. DMs make decision in turn or meanwhile to optimize their
objective functions. [1, 2, 3, 4]
The vast majority of the optimization problems emerging in real–world applications incorporate vast
numbers of variables and constraints, which

Using Adaptive Response Surface Regression
3 Methodology
The developed optimisation routine makes use of adaptive response surface regression to use a
limited initial amount of FE models to feed an optimisation routine which is specifically designed
for general thermal problems where parameters linked to the general heat equation can be optimised
or estimated using experimental input data. The algorithm uses a pan and zoom function to move
through the design space and delivers faster predictions with fewer iterations than standard updating
routines [35, 41].
3.1 Adaptive response surface method
The adaptive response surface optimisation routine is used to optimise numerical models with lots of
data points and the time reducing by the algorithm increases as the number of parameters rises [40].
The routine is designed to handle multiple–output time series data [35]. The optimisation procedure
can be divided into the following steps:
1. Starting reference simulation points is running and a correct object function is built of the
difference between the FE model and the target value (experiment or validation model).
2. The FE model is replaced by a meta–model of response surfaces to decrease the optimisation time
but remains an accurate approximation.
3. The optimisation routine is run on a specific object function. It is possible to use multiple
objective functions or build an objective function related to multiple outputs.
4. The estimated parameter values are used as input parameters for a new FE model that

Waterfall and Extreme Programming are two software project methods used for project
management. Although there are a number of opinions comparing the two methods regarding how
they should be applied, none have used project data to clearly conclude which one is better. In this

The faculty decided to use Extreme Programming as the method for the Foundations course because
it was an agile method, it had good engineering practices, and it was a safe sandbox environment for
engineers to try paired programming since many managers in industry were initially skeptical about
its benefits. In 2005, the faculty allowed three of the sixteen teams tried our new curriculum to see if
there were any serious issues in the switch, while other thirteen teams continued to follow a start
point in 2004. The feedback was extremely positive so in 2006, all teams followed Extreme
Programming. For the project plan duration, Waterfall teams needed fifteen weeks to finish their
tasks where as Extreme Programming teams were given only thirteen weeks, a 13% reduction in
time.
1.2.2. PET 1.1: In 2005, the VP of Engineering advised the three teams that rewriting the code from
scratch would be easier than working with the existing code base. Team 30:1 decided to use the
latest in Java technologies including Swing and Hibernate. PET 1.1, the team 's product became the
starting point for the students in the following year.
1.2.3. PET 1.2: In 2008, the faculty switched the core technology from Java to Ruby on
Rails. Ruby on Rails ' convention over configuration, afforded a lower learning curve for students.
For Pet 1.2, students would build their projects from scratch.

Strategies In Eric Larson's 'Devil In The White City'
Eric Larson in his novel the "Devil in the White City" masterfully exercises several rhetorical
devices and storytelling strategies. The story itself centers on the Chicago world fair and the two
greatly influential men who roamed Chicago at this time. The intrepid architect who pulled it all
together and against all odds puts on a fantastical fair the likes of which will never be seen again.
The other a prolific serial killer who used the chaos of the fair to catch, kill, and dispose of victims
with great facility. To tell these stories Larson employs a varieties of techniques to convey his tales
in the way he envisioned. In particular he seems to draw heavily on nonlinear narrative techniques.
Larson routinely jumps from the present, to the past, to Larson's present, and back to present. He
exercises these techniques as a means of engaging his audience and to entertain his readers.
Larson manipulates nonlinear narrative techniques to keep readers engaged throughout the novel.
The whole prologue of the novel is an excellent example of the use of nonlinear narrative structure
to hook the reader and have them continue the novel. The prologue, as it becomes evident in the
epilogue, describes Burnham's boat ride on the Olympia after all the events of the novel have
transpired (Larson, 5). In this fragment of future events, Burnham summarizes the triumphs and
trials of putting on the fair. He also delves on the Holmes storyline and relays the information

Bilinear resampling is known also bilinear filtering or bilinear interpolation. Bilinear resampling is
used to smooth out when they are displayed smaller or larger than they actually are. the bilinear
resampling is done by interpolating between the four pixels nearest to the point that best represents
that pixel
(usually in the middle or upper left of the pixel). The bilinear resampling takes a weighted average
of 4 pixels in the original image nearest to the new pixel location The averaging process modifies
the original pixel values and creates entirely new digital values in the output image. Bilinear
resampling results are smoother, accurate, without stairstepped effect. But it has some limitations that
is edges are smoothed and some extremes of the data file values are lost. It is expressed
mathematically as follows Assuming i and j are integer parts of x and y, respectively; bilinear
resampling is defined by:
F(x;y) =Wi;j[F(i;j)] +Wi+ 1;j[F(i+ 1;j)]
+Wi;j+ 1[F(i;j + 1)] +Wi+ 1;j+ 1[F(i+ 1;j+ 1)]
(8)
where
Wi;j= (i+ 1 x)(j+ 1 y)
Wi+ 1;j= (x i)(j+ 1 y)
Wi;j+ 1 = (i+ 1 x)(y j)
Wi+ 1;j+ 1 = (x i)(y j)
3) Histogram Matching: As previously mentioned Image fusion is the approach of combining two or
more images of same scene to obtain the more informative image. The histogram matching is

The Rogue Wave ( Rogue Wave, And Peregrine Soliton
It is widely known that the rogue wave (freak wave, killer wave, and Peregrine solitons) is a kind of
wave with a singular, rare, and high amplitude, which causes a dramatic impact on living life.
Generally speaking, the rogue waves usually have deep holes and high crest, and the deep holes
occur before and after the large crest. It has been pointed out that the freak waves have been a part

Designing a New Programming Language
The objective of this project is to design a programing language by using basic common qualities
from two different programing languages. This presentation should illustrate the features of the
various programing languages currently used in the industry and this common capabilities. The
constant of this experiment is the comparison and use object oriented programing languages. After
analysis create a programing language with the same structures and variables. Further define the
classes of the language such as its attributes and characteristics. The language executed basic
algorithmic solutions. Therefore when I created controls and data structures also finding means to
express algorithms I was able to create a programing language. The variables in this projects were
the stored values such as strings and integers. If I was to do this experiment in the future or expand
on this experiment I would define and organize my experimental data structures differently.
A programming language is an artificial language which gives instruction that is carried out by a
computer. The researcher chose this project to understand and learn about Programming language
design, structure and computer software development. The researcher wanted to find out how object
oriented programing languages work, their processing, how they are designed to complete tasks and
how they affect the software development. In his investigation, he researched the basic common

C Language
The C programming language (often, just C) is a general–purpose, procedural, imperative
computer programming language developed in the early 1970s by Dennis Ritchie for use on the
Unix operating system. It has since spread to many other operating systems, and is now one of the
most widely used programming languages. C also has had a great influence on many other popular
languages,[1] especially [[C++]] which was originally designed as an enhancement to C. It is the
most commonly used programming language for writing system software,[2][3] though it is also
widely used for writing applications. Though not originally designed as a language for teaching, and
despite its somewhat unforgiving character, C is commonly used in computer science ... Show more

The relatively low–level nature of the language affords the programmer close control over what the
program is doing, while allowing solutions that can be specially tailored and aggressively optimized
for a particular platform. This allows the code to run efficiently on very limited hardware, such as
mass–produced consumer embedded systems, which today are as capable as the general–purpose
machines originally used to implement C.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of PFC Transverter
The objective of the control circuit for PFC converter are a near unity power factor should flow and
a steady average voltage should maintain at the output. Literature is abounded with novel PFC
control methods that address these objectives. These control methods can segmented into a few
categories in terms of their implementation approach and structures. Such as the multi–loop
multiplier approach, the cycle–by–cycle integration approach, the single–loop control approach and
the sliding mode control approach. Under these categories, some common PFC converter control
methods are discussed and their advantages and disadvantages of those methods [].
2.1.1.1 Single loop approach
Single loop control methods allowed a single voltage control loop to regulate the output voltage.
The input current shaping is accomplished in an open loop manner, the duty cycle patterns are
predefined by considering in ideal PFC operation. One example in this control method is the duty
phase control (DPC) proposed by Chen [42]. In this method, a phase shift is willingly introduced to
the stored duty cycle patterns. The output voltage is regulated by adjusting this phase shift by using
the output of the voltage error amplifier, which is named the duty phase. This approach simplified
the control structure and eliminated the current loop, without the need to ... Show more content on

In this control method, the error voltage is integrated twice and to generate the reference signal for
current tracking, this signal referred to as the nonlinear carrier signal. In the current shaping, instead
of the sensed switch current for comparison, the sensed current is integrated to obtain an average
value before being compared with the nonlinear carrier signal. This approach reduces the input
current distortion and the noise immunity. Its physical realization is more complicated than the OCC

The Cj Foods, Inc. Essay
This case study views the CJ Foods, Inc. company headquarters in South Korea. CJ Foods make
three types of sauces that they sell in grocery stores located in East Asia. The three types of Korean
barbeque sauces are: Original, Pineapple, and Hot Spicy. These sauces are made by mixing
different percentages of five ingredients, and these ingredients include: beef, bean, pineapple, hot
pepper, and sugar. For the original sauce the ingredients are twenty–seven percent beef, forty–seven
percent bean, eleven percent hot pepper, and fifteen percent sugar. The pineapple sauce consists of
ten percent beef, twenty–five percent bean, fifty percent pineapple, ten percent hot pepper, and five
percent sugar. The hot and spicy sauce consists of fifteen percent beef, twenty percent bean, forty
percent hot pepper, and twenty–five percent sugar. The profit contribution per pound for the original
sauce is $1.55, for the pineapple sauce it is $2.10, and for the hot and spicy sauce it is $2.35. The
case study is asking the reader to create a linear programming model, that will allow the company to
use the available ingredients to maximize profit. The problem was identified by the data, because the
cost of ingredients is not included in their profit analysis. The cost of the ingredients varies greatly,
because of the commodity market. With this case study, we are trying to find the optimal production

beyond quality limits and bring practicality in planning. Another research highlights using linear and
integer programming algorithms for resource optimization while scheduling of project, thereby
analyzing potential time–cost tradeoff. In a different approach, researcher used fuzzy multi–attribute

Load Optimum MPLS Routing with Routers and Links (N+M)
ABSTRACT:
MPLS is now a days the most important thing in the intra domain routing (i.e. routing in own
domain or network). The main advantage of MPLS is the flexibility it offers towards traffic
engineering ex. To support higher demand without overloading any links. Most of the major vendors
are now offering MPLS routers and many ISPs are deploying MPLS in their IP backbone as well as
in ATMs and frame relays. Because of this increase in transition to MPLS we are required to
increase our knowledge towards the importance and limitations of MPLS.

It can provide applications like Traffic Engineering, Quality of Service and Virtual Private
Networks. The packets in MPLS are directed through the network based on an assigned label. The
label is associated through the network with an assigned path which allows a higher level of control
on the packets than in packet–switched networks. MPLS routing allow differing QoS characteristics
and priorities to be assigned to particular data flows. Traffic Engineering explains the optimization
of fundamental abilities of the network [2]. Traffic Engineering is the process of controlling how
traffic flows through ones network so as to optimize resource utilization and network performance
[3]. It is performed by detouring the traffic to paths that are lightly loaded in order to balance the
load amongst the paths as per the various calculated metrics. These can be divided as two types.
They are state dependent and time dependent. Both of them are focused to balance the traffic so that
they can avoid the congestion. State dependent policies change the traffic in short time scale
depending on different metrics calculated both online and offline of the present traffic and the time
dependent policies engineer it based on long time scaling. Both these methods aim to balance the
traffic so as to avoid the congestion.
The problem that we face while using previous MPLS routing solutions is that

Integrated Management Of Projects And Systems
1. Abstract
Software Development has progressed far in recent years, with Agile software development
methodologies contributing to the success of projects and customer satisfaction. This feasibility
study will examine the potential implications involved with implementing the 'Integrated
Management of Projects and Systems' (IMPS) system using an Agile method. The system will assist
Software Engineers in Communications, Requirements Gathering, Quality Control, and project
management. The IMPS system aims to solve remote communications issues and technical
complexity barriers faced by non–technical stakeholders involved in software projects, resulting in
decreased operating costs and increased productivity. The system will be introduced to the
organization gradually as it is development, with a minimum of disruption.
2. Study introduction
Information Technology (IT) has become a significant part of any work conducted in a technical
capacity, whether this is via job assistance, or enablement. Communications, record keeping, and
employee management all rely heavily upon IT systems to operate. Engineering jobs rely on IT
systems to augment and assist to a greater degree than other areas due to the technical nature of the
work. Nowhere is this more true than in Software Engineering, where technical details and their
representation is key to the success of any project. It has been found that face–to–face meetings are
still unmatched in effective communication.

Nonlinear Dynamics And Its Effect On The Performance Of...
Abstract– Nonlinear behavior is a common feature of all real word systems. However for the sake of
simplicity, a linear model is often used in the controller design procedure. However, neglected
nonlinear dynamics might decrease the performance of controller drastically. In this paper, a new
method for designing MPC controllers in state space is proposed for a class of nonlinear processes.
In the proposed method, first an MPC controller is designed in state space based on a linear model
and then, it is modified using Modal Series to compensate the effect of neglected nonlinear
dynamics. At the end, the proposed method is applied to control two real systems and the results are
discussed. Index Terms– Modal Series, Nonlinear, Predictive Control. B INTRODUCTION

various industries [1]. These controllers share following essential ideas [2]. Predicting process future
behavior using a model. Optimizing this behavior by determining future inputs. Applying
determined input and repeating this procedure in next sampling period of time. First of all, an
appropriate model of under control system should be acquired in predictive control, which is called

The Exciting yet Stressful Career of Computer Programming
How could you be reading this paper right now without programs like Windows and Word that this
document was made on? Technology is a fundamental part of our everyday lives, meaning the
people who program computers have significant jobs. Although it is essential that computers are
built from scratch, people are needed to transform these computers from complex machines that
users need a college diploma to the user–friendly interfaces we see today. In order to become and
remain a computer programmer, a student could go to college and obtain a degree or self–teach
himself.
Computer programming is a difficult yet rewarding career. Programmers use different programming
languages in their day–to–day lives; similar to foreign languages they are similar in some ways but
different in others. Three languages commonly used by computer programmers are Visual Basic,
C++, and Java (Major: Computer Programming, General). Other languages include SQL, HTML,
and .NET (Juliano, Jim). Programming can even be done as a hobby instead of a career (Reeves and
Kent). People can release their work as open–source software; many of these open–source software
such as Apache HTTPD, WordPress, and PHP run millions of websites across the world.
Programming is a love it or hate it occupation (Reeves and Kent). A programmer has to have
passion for programming in order to be successful; one cannot simply choose programming as a job
unless they truly enjoy it. Programmers enjoy their jobs because

Unlike other subjects like maths, science, Arts and English, the subject was not even tested. We
always thought of it as another boring lesson on computer architecture or Microsoft office.
Meanwhile, an American young called Mark Zikirburg was applying his knowledge of computer
programming to create what has become the largest social media network in the world. A network
that worth more than 100 billion dollar and connecting more than billion people across the globe.
The importance of delivering programming knowledge has been recognised by quite a few countries
worldwide and the United Kingdom could be one of the best examples. In September 2013, some
exciting changes were made to the national curriculum. ICT – Information and Communications

been calling for change in the computing curriculum by putting more emphasis in the computer
programming, and it has received a lot of support from business and non–profit organization and
public figures including the American President Barak Obama who gave speech on 12/8/2013
calling for support from the public for these changes.
However, despite this remarkable recognition of the need for teaching programming in schools, the
subject is still very controversial. While some people argue that we might not be ready yet

understanding of the Sacred is characteristic of mythology and magic, wherein all spiritual
phenomena are closely connected with a material or corporeal bearer. Functional understanding of
the Sacred is developed by the earliest civilizations in which the spiritual is separated from the
material. For example, Plato, Aristotle, and Neoplatonism created European functional theology.
Substantial understanding of the Sacred appears in Christianity. Here we find the synthesis of
substratum and functional peculiarities ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the Soviet period, «idealism» and «materialism» emerged as a departure from ideological
philosophy. For example, V.P. Kuzmin distinguished between «systematical» and «meta–
systematical» understanding of objects. He also showed the appropriate stages and levels through
which one could develop a true understanding of an object's essence.(1) A.Tchanyshev emphasized
naturalistic and anthropomorphic principles for cognizing the essence of objects,(2) whereas B.T.
Grigorian, through the principles of objectivism and subjectivism, made it possible to comprehend
the notion of essence with regard to human beings.(3) Yu.A. Shreider juxtaposed naturalistic and
individualistic principles for cognizing the world.(4) S.N. Smirnov emphasized functional and
structural principles for the development of a scientific interpretation of objects.(5) S. Petrov
distinguished between structural, functional, phenomenological, and substratum–substantial
principles,(6) B.M. Kedrov between functional and substratum principles,(7) while A.R. Sokolov
worked mainly with functional–substantial principles.(8) In the works of the authors mentioned
above, one can discern the will to deny the dogmata of State Marxism in favour of a dialogue with
Western philosophical and Church traditions.
Today there have emerged quite new possibilities for such dialogue, although there remains a
number of basic problems to be solved. One of the most important, is the

A Research Proposal On Kanaka Raju Pandiri

  • 1. A Research Proposal On Kanaka Raju Pandiri Research Proposal Kanaka Raju Pandiri Kansas State University, USA Recent progress in ultrafast lasers gained a lot of interest to investigate ever faster physical processes in atoms, molecules, and solid state surfaces. This advancement gave birth to a broad field of science crossing physics, chemistry, and biology; known as "Ultrafast Science" for which Zewail got the Nobel prize in 1999. But, following electron dynamics in real time, watching the formation or breaking of chemical bonds, or the transfer of electrons from one constituent to another has been a dream and challenge for a long time in this field. The never–ending quest to study the time– resolved dynamics (also known as "Ultrafast molecular movies") pushing the probes to attosecond (10–18 seconds) and even zeptosecond (10–21 seconds) domain. Only with the advent of attosecond pulse generation, time–resolved dynamics near the ground state (the period of a Bohr orbit ≈ 150 as) came into reach. These ultrafast electric field probes can be used to drive electrons with petahertz (1015 Hz) frequencies also in nanometer scale systems (a new research domain known as "lightwave electronics" is emerged from this idea). The proposed laboratory aims at developing cross–disciplinary studies in ultrafast dynamics by establishing and creating innovative laser technology. Science goals: Ultrafast dynamics the field of research aims to track and possibly control the motion of electrons and nuclei in matter at their shortest ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Linear and Nonlinear Optical Susceptibilities and Hyperpolarizability of Borate LiNaB4O7 Single Crystals: Theory and Experiment Ali Hussain Reshak, Xuean Chen, S. Auluck and H. Kamarudin Journal of Applied Physics 2012 Volume 112, Issue 5, Pages 053526 (1 – 11) Since the successful demonstration of second harmonic generation by a propagation of a ruby laser beam via a quartz crystal by Franken et al,1 borate materials have been widely studied to employ in the potential applications such as nonlinear optics (NLO) and laser (mainly in visible and UV light) engineering.2, 3, 4, 5 Materials with NLO properties are useful for generating new frequency laser sources that cannot be directly produced from the common laser sources.2 Consequently, NLO materials have enabled a wider range of frequencies produced from the available laser. Borate materials have a few great properties, for example, short growth period, high damage threshold, large effective nonlinear coefficient and good mechanical properties.6 This suggests that borate materials are well fitted for the purpose of laser frequency conversion. BaB2O4, LiB3O5, CsB3O5 and YCa4(BO3)3O are examples of well–known borate–based NLO crystals.2 An early review on the comparison of the damage threshold and optical transmittance of these mentioned borate crystal compounds have been done by Becker in which the use of the favourable anionic group and birefringence in the borate materials are the essential features needed to produce ... The success or failure of a project, business, operation, company etc. is directly proportional to the logical reasoning carried out to reach a decision. Bad/ suboptimal decisions can ruin/damage business, project, reputation and careers. Past few decades of research into the decision making paradigm has highlighted that bad decisions are a byproduct of distortions and biases that incapacitate our reasoning. Most of our decision making is heuristic in nature that serves perfectly well in most of the situations. However, when the problem is large enough, one tends to ignore or poorly identify the details that must be taken into account in order ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The problem of finding an optimal solution under given constraints belongs to the discipline of mathematical optimization that includes methods like linear programming, dynamic programming, integer programming, Pontryagin's maximum principle and nonlinear programming. Linear programming has been popular since its introduction and has helped solve many real world problems yet it suffers from a grave limitation i.e. the real world is not linear which restricts its use to linear optimization problems or to the ones that can be approximated as linear models. Problems with strong nonlinearities will not give a feasible solution if approximated via linear models. Nonlinear programming addresses these limitations but is far more difficult to implement and needs more computational power to solve problems. In this paper we review the nonlinear programming technique and the way it can help solve a complex optimization problem. The paper is organized as follows. In section 2 we define the optimization problem and its mathematics. In section 3 we discuss the nonlinear programming, its origin, uses and the software programs that can be used to aid problem solving. Section 4 is an example of optimization problem and its solution via nonlinear programming. In section 5, we give the conclusion. 2. Optimization Problem Mathematically an optimization problem is defined as follows: where is called the objective or cost function to be optimized subject to m inequality constraints ... Every lightning strike was so powerful with its terrifying sound, yet it worked with the same principle that explained the bits of paper clinging to a charged fur cloth rubbed on a cat. It was very enchanting for me to learn that all the extreme and massive events which took place could be explained by the same laws which govern our daily experiences. Learning physics would unravel the nature of these events, all around me. Every single time I gaze at the sky, I could not help but realise that those stars which sparkle at a distance are nothing but bodies just like our sun and most of them are still bigger. My curiosity to know and understand the workings of the things around me has led to my interest in electronics, physics and particularly applied physics. To be able to understand the physical phenomenon and then being able to apply it is a very fascinating process. It's a process of structured brainstorming to answer the critical questions around design, prototyping, and testing new ideas. Creating an amazing experience consists of simple functionality, powerful usability, and creative thoughtfulness. Our mission–take great functionality–pair it with the best user experience possible. Since conception, we have always believed in simplicity. We believe simplicity results in getting to the core of a brand and understanding what it truly represents. Then we make every part consistent with that core. Bellwether starts by instilling the essence of your new brand down to its core– primary and secondary colors, clean logo, styleguide. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bellwether creates 2–3 logo alternatives during this phase and sits down with the client to finalize one logo that represents their brand. Brand Creation In our brand creation phase Bellwether takes a newly established logo and creates a matching brand style guide. Your brand style guide defines what your company's brand elements are and how they should be applied across marketing materials. It can go as far as to address the type of photography style that should be used, state the distance a logo should be from an edge, dictate how copy should be written, and even communicate how signage and furniture should look in a real–world environment. Prototype With the logo and branding guide in place we are ready to pursue our final interface. The prototyping phase is where our design team brings everything together: here we apply what we learned in the discovery along with the new branded style guide, and mock up our final designs. Development Creating great software is more than just organization. It's about maintaining good code quality while holding our developers accountable. Bellwether takes code quality very serious and we have developed a few well known methods to ensure that our code integrity remains constant. Once a developer considers their user story, complete, we run it through the following. The Non Alcoholic Beverage Segment The non–alcoholic beverage segment is a very competitive and dynamic sector and encompasses a broad range of categories as showed in the chart below: The market size is currently around $ 170 billion in sales and is projected to grow to $190 billion by 2020. As the graph below points out, the CSDs remain the largest single sub–category within the segment. However, as the CSD sub– category continues to decline, it is expected that most of the segment growth will be driven by smaller, emerging "better–for–you" brands. In reality, many of these sub–categories are already experiencing a growth driven by both the increasing demand for healthier, better–for–you alternatives and the companies ' abilities to launch new products with original flavors and innovative packaging. As outlined in the chart above, between 2003 and 2013, per capita consumption of CSDs decreased by 23%, while bottled water saw a 105% increase and juices and other noncarbonated drinks increased 55%. While the CSDs sales are expected to continue declining, other healthier and functional non–alcoholic beverage categories are expected to continue gaining share. MARKET TRENDS At least three factors may be considered as growth propellers in the group of healthy, non– carbonated beverages. Gill† Elizabeth Wong† UCSD Department of Mathematics Technical Report NA–10–01 September 2010 Abstract Computational methods are considered for finding a point that satisfies the secondorder necessary conditions for a general (possibly nonconvex) quadratic program (QP). The first part of the paper defines a framework for the formulation and analysis of feasible–point active–set methods for QP. This framework defines a class of methods in which a primal–dual search pair is the solution of an equality–constrained subproblem involving a "working set" of linearly independent constraints. This framework is discussed in the context of two broad classes of active–set method for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This reformulation gives the primal–dual search pair as the solution of a KKT–system formed from the QP Hessian and the working–set constraint gradients. It is shown that, under certain circumstances, the solution of this KKT–system may be updated using a simple recurrence relation, thereby giving a significant reduction in the number of KKT systems that need to be solved. The linear constraints of a QP may include an arbitrary mixture of equality and inequality constraints, where the inequality constraints may be subject to lower and/or upper bounds. Many mathematically equivalent formulations of the constraints are possible, and the choice of formulation often depends on the context. We consider the generic quadratic program minimize n x∈R 1 ϕ(x) = cTx + 2 xTHx subject to Ax = b, Dx ≥ f, (1.1) where A, b, c, D, f and H are constant, H is symmetric, A is m × n, and D is mD × n. (In order to simplify the notation, it is assumed that the inequalities involve only lower bounds.) However, the methods to be described can be generalized to treat all forms of linear constraints. No assumptions are made about H (other than symmetry), which implies that the objective ϕ(x) need not be convex. In the nonconvex case, however, convergence will be to local minimizers only. So it isn't beyond the imagination to find that there are specific terms for different groups. But today, this essay will be focusing on a single term for a group. This term is called a discourse community. What is a discourse community? A discourse community is a group of people involved in and communicating about a particular topic, issue, or in a particular field (Instructure, 2013). And to go into even more depth about what this essay is about, it has to do with a class that I am in. This class is called comp 1900, and it is an introduction to computer science course. And the reason why I have chosen to see this class as a discourse community is because I believe it fits into the six Swales rules for deciding if a community is a discourse community. The rules go as follows from the "Writing about Writing" book by Elizabeth Wardle and Doug Downs: "A discourse community has a broadly agreed set of common public goals."(Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 220) "A discourse community has mechanisms of intercommunication among its members".(Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 221) "A discourse community uses its participatory mechanisms primarily to provide information and feedback." (Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 221) "A discourse community utilizes and hence possesses one or more genres in the communicative furtherance of its aims."(Wardle & Downs, 2014, p: 221) "In addition to owning genres, ... Notes On The And Flow Data 2 DATAAND OPERATIONALIZATION Tostudy the impactofpoliticalaffinity onFDI,I employ the datafrom UNCTAD,whichrecord bilateral FDI stock and flow data for more than 200 countries from 2001 to 2012. Since FDI flow data can be a poor conceptual choice for answering political questions (Kerner, 2014; Sorens and Ruger, 2015; Benacek et al., 2014), I choose to use only the stock data. One possible drawback for UNCTAD data is its compilation by reports from different countries, which have varied reporting rules and rigorousness. As a result, it may have serious measurement errors or substantial missing values. However, this weakness appears to plague the other two major FDI data resources (IMF and OECD) as well. 1 In addition, since biased or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This choice is mainly out of convenience. It is also workable to use the outstock data instead. The interpretation will be similar. 2.1 POLITICAL AFFINITY Admittedly there is no perfect measure for two countries' political closeness. To somehow proxy this measurement, I use the ideal points compiled by Erik Voeten and colleagues from the UN general assembly roll–call voting data. 3 This dataset has ideal point estimates for countries from 1946 to 2014. To measure political affinity for a given country pair, I take the absolute value of the difference between their ideal points and code them as "idealPoint". In this regard, the smaller value the idealPoint variable is, they closer is the country pair's relationship. 2.2 CONTROLS As mentioned before, to somehow mitigate the reporting country's biasness, I need to apply controls over the country's general FDI volume. More importantly, the volume of FDI stock in a certain country is substantially affected by the attractiveness of the destination and the financial caliber of the donor country. In this regard, I tally the total volume of both the instock FDI for the recipient country and the outstock FDI for the donor country. The former is used as a proxy for the destination's investment attractiveness and the latter for the donor's financial caliber. This way I can sidestep the use of other economic controls and focus on studying how political affinity affect FDI. 3This dataset can be downloaded from Harvard. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Abstract The motivation behind this paper is to propose a new approach called objective factorizable approach based on a decomposition algorithm in an interactive model for finding the optimal solution to multi–level large scale quadratic programming problem (MLLSQPP), in which the objective function can be factorized into two single linear objective functions and has block angular structure of the constraints. What 's more, the author advances the concepts of satisfactoriness as the upper level decision–makers ' preferences until the preferred solution is come to. The bi–section method is suggested as an essential solution method to assess these upper level decision–makers ' preferences precisely. Finally, in order to exhibit the proficiency of the proposed model, an illustrative example is provided. Keywords Decomposition algorithm; multilevel programming; large scale problem; quadratic programming; bisection method. 1. Introduction Multi–Level Programming (MLP) problems are an arrangement of overlapped hierarchical optimization problems with numerous decision makers (DMs) over a solitary feasible region. MLP techniques relegate each DM a unique objective, a set of decision variables, and a set of common constraints that influence all DMs. DMs make decision in turn or meanwhile to optimize their objective functions. Using Adaptive Response Surface Regression 3 Methodology The developed optimisation routine makes use of adaptive response surface regression to use a limited initial amount of FE models to feed an optimisation routine which is specifically designed for general thermal problems where parameters linked to the general heat equation can be optimised or estimated using experimental input data. The algorithm uses a pan and zoom function to move through the design space and delivers faster predictions with fewer iterations than standard updating routines [35, 41]. 3.1 Adaptive response surface method The adaptive response surface optimisation routine is used to optimise numerical models with lots of data points and the time reducing by the algorithm increases as the number of parameters rises [40]. The routine is designed to handle multiple–output time series data [35]. The optimisation procedure can be divided into the following steps: 1. Starting reference simulation points is running and a correct object function is built of the difference between the FE model and the target value (experiment or validation model). 2. The FE model is replaced by a meta–model of response surfaces to decrease the optimisation time but remains an accurate approximation. 3. The optimisation routine is run on a specific object function. It is possible to use multiple objective functions or build an objective function related to multiple outputs. 4. • 33. Strategies In Eric Larson's 'Devil In The White City' Eric Larson in his novel the "Devil in the White City" masterfully exercises several rhetorical devices and storytelling strategies. The story itself centers on the Chicago world fair and the two greatly influential men who roamed Chicago at this time. The intrepid architect who pulled it all together and against all odds puts on a fantastical fair the likes of which will never be seen again. The other a prolific serial killer who used the chaos of the fair to catch, kill, and dispose of victims with great facility. To tell these stories Larson employs a varieties of techniques to convey his tales in the way he envisioned. In particular he seems to draw heavily on nonlinear narrative techniques. Larson routinely jumps from the present, to the past, to Larson's present, and back to present. He exercises these techniques as a means of engaging his audience and to entertain his readers. Larson manipulates nonlinear narrative techniques to keep readers engaged throughout the novel. The whole prologue of the novel is an excellent example of the use of nonlinear narrative structure to hook the reader and have them continue the novel. The prologue, as it becomes evident in the epilogue, describes Burnham's boat ride on the Olympia after all the events of the novel have transpired (Larson, 5). In this fragment of future events, Burnham summarizes the triumphs and trials of putting on the fair. He also delves on the Holmes storyline and relays the information emerging from the ... Bilinear resampling is used to smooth out when they are displayed smaller or larger than they actually are. the bilinear resampling is done by interpolating between the four pixels nearest to the point that best represents that pixel (usually in the middle or upper left of the pixel). The bilinear resampling takes a weighted average of 4 pixels in the original image nearest to the new pixel location The averaging process modifies the original pixel values and creates entirely new digital values in the output image. Bilinear resampling results are smoother, accurate, without stairstepped effect. But it has some limitations that is edges are smoothed and some extremes of the data file values are lost. CJ Foods make three types of sauces that they sell in grocery stores located in East Asia. The three types of Korean barbeque sauces are: Original, Pineapple, and Hot Spicy. These sauces are made by mixing different percentages of five ingredients, and these ingredients include: beef, bean, pineapple, hot pepper, and sugar. For the original sauce the ingredients are twenty–seven percent beef, forty–seven percent bean, eleven percent hot pepper, and fifteen percent sugar. The pineapple sauce consists of ten percent beef, twenty–five percent bean, fifty percent pineapple, ten percent hot pepper, and five percent sugar. The hot and spicy sauce consists of fifteen percent beef, twenty percent bean, forty percent hot pepper, and twenty–five percent sugar. The profit contribution per pound for the original sauce is $1.55, for the pineapple sauce it is $2.10, and for the hot and spicy sauce it is $2.35. The case study is asking the reader to create a linear programming model, that will allow the company to use the available ingredients to maximize profit. The problem was identified by the data, because the cost of ingredients is not included in their profit analysis. The cost of the ingredients varies greatly, because of the commodity market. Load Optimum Mpls Routing With Routers And Links Load Optimum MPLS Routing with Routers and Links (N+M) ABSTRACT: MPLS is now a days the most important thing in the intra domain routing (i.e. routing in own domain or network). The main advantage of MPLS is the flexibility it offers towards traffic engineering ex. To support higher demand without overloading any links. Most of the major vendors are now offering MPLS routers and many ISPs are deploying MPLS in their IP backbone as well as in ATMs and frame relays. Because of this increase in transition to MPLS we are required to increase our knowledge towards the importance and limitations of MPLS. Mitra and Ramakrishna from GLOBECOM'99 has showed optimum routing solutions can be found to achieve the goals for diverse set of Traffic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It can provide applications like Traffic Engineering, Quality of Service and Virtual Private Networks. The packets in MPLS are directed through the network based on an assigned label. The label is associated through the network with an assigned path which allows a higher level of control on the packets than in packet–switched networks. MPLS routing allow differing QoS characteristics and priorities to be assigned to particular data flows. Traffic Engineering explains the optimization of fundamental abilities of the network [2]. Traffic Engineering is the process of controlling how traffic flows through ones network so as to optimize resource utilization and network performance [3]. It is performed by detouring the traffic to paths that are lightly loaded in order to balance the load amongst the paths as per the various calculated metrics. These can be divided as two types. They are state dependent and time dependent. Both of them are focused to balance the traffic so that they can avoid the congestion. State dependent policies change the traffic in short time scale depending on different metrics calculated both online and offline of the present traffic and the time dependent policies engineer it based on long time scaling. Both these methods aim to balance the traffic so as to avoid the congestion. The problem that we face while using previous MPLS routing solutions is that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However for the sake of simplicity, a linear model is often used in the controller design procedure. However, neglected nonlinear dynamics might decrease the performance of controller drastically. In this paper, a new method for designing MPC controllers in state space is proposed for a class of nonlinear processes. In the proposed method, first an MPC controller is designed in state space based on a linear model and then, it is modified using Modal Series to compensate the effect of neglected nonlinear dynamics. At the end, the proposed method is applied to control two real systems and the results are discussed. Index Terms– Modal Series, Nonlinear, Predictive Control. B INTRODUCTION ECAUSE of high performance and simplicity, MPC controllers have extended their application in various industries [1]. These controllers share following essential ideas [2]. Predicting process future behavior using a model. Optimizing this behavior by determining future inputs. Applying determined input and repeating this procedure in next sampling period of time. First of all, an appropriate model of under control system should be acquired in predictive control, which is called predictive model. • 72. The Exciting yet Stressful Career of Computer Programming How could you be reading this paper right now without programs like Windows and Word that this document was made on? Technology is a fundamental part of our everyday lives, meaning the people who program computers have significant jobs. Although it is essential that computers are built from scratch, people are needed to transform these computers from complex machines that users need a college diploma to the user–friendly interfaces we see today. In order to become and remain a computer programmer, a student could go to college and obtain a degree or self–teach himself. Computer programming is a difficult yet rewarding career. Programmers use different programming languages in their day–to–day lives; similar to foreign languages they are similar in some ways but different in others. Three languages commonly used by computer programmers are Visual Basic, C++, and Java (Major: Computer Programming, General). Other languages include SQL, HTML, and .NET (Juliano, Jim). Programming can even be done as a hobby instead of a career (Reeves and Kent). People can release their work as open–source software; many of these open–source software such as Apache HTTPD, WordPress, and PHP run millions of websites across the world. Programming is a love it or hate it occupation (Reeves and Kent). A programmer has to have passion for programming in order to be successful; one cannot simply choose programming as a job unless they truly enjoy it. Programmers enjoy their jobs because ... The motor is gotten from servo gadgets; circuits process controller of the error signal, which then pushes the carriage through the servomotor and the driving rail system. To–fro motion of the cart applies torque on the inverted pendulum and hence keeps the pendulum in a upright position. The procedure is non–linear and unstable with a signal input and output distinctive.A first way to deal with modelling would accept a frictionless with each motion restricted to the degrees of freedom we need. Inverted Pendulum System Equations The main system will be modelled with the suppositions required such that the system is linear and simple to design a controller. From this, the model can be changed over to state space form, which can then be utilized to design a controller. • 80. Principles for Cognizing the Sacred Essay Principles for Cognizing the Sacred Today we need a scientific analysis of basic world views which expresses genuine understanding of the sacred. Such world views hold the main principles for cognizing reality. A 'substratum' understanding of the Sacred is characteristic of mythology and magic, wherein all spiritual phenomena are closely connected with a material or corporeal bearer. Functional understanding of the Sacred is developed by the earliest civilizations in which the spiritual is separated from the material. For example, Plato, Aristotle, and Neoplatonism created European functional theology. Substantial understanding of the Sacred appears in Christianity. Here we find the synthesis of substratum and functional peculiarities ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
