2. Easter is the celebration of Jesus Christ's rising from the dead after
His crucifixion.
Christians believe that they have the hope of a new everlasting life
after their earthly death.
Easter is usually celebrated on spring Sunday. This year we have
Easter holiday on the 5 (day) of May (month).
3. Children in the United States and Canada say the Easter bunny
(rabbit) brings eggs and sweets at Easter.
Children in Germany and England believe the hare brings Easter
baskets.
The hare looks like a rabbit, but it's larger, with longer ears and legs.
4. Eggs are a symbol of the new life that returns to nature.
There is a tradition to dye hard-boiled eggs.
In Russia we eat an Easter bread that is full of plump white raisins and
tastes like cake.
