9. Georgiana Hall
Director of Business Development
After graduating from Woodberry Forest School with Jim Ray, Georgiana Hall earned a B. S. in physics
from University of Mary Washington (formerly called Mary Washington College) in Fredericksburg, VA.
She went on to earn her Master’s degree in physics from Georgetown University. After teaching as a full-
time instructor at Mary Washington for one year, she returned to the Washington DC area to work for
Booz-Allen and Hamilton in Bethesda, MD as an engineer working in the Survivability group of the
Strategic Defense Initiative Organization at the Pentagon. After that, she worked for BDM
International, Inc. supporting the same contract as a test and evaluation engineer.
After relocating to Miami, Florida, Ms. Hall worked for 10 years as a physics and astronomy adjunct
professor for Miami-Dade College and Florida International University (FIU). During that time, she also
earned a second Master’s degree in Engineering Management with an emphasis in Industrial
Engineering at FIU. She went on to work as a laboratory supervisor, coordinating and planning
laboratories for undergraduate Astronomy students in the Physics Department at FIU.
She and her husband Oren, who is a nuclear physicist and professor of physics at FIU, share their Miami
home with several pet rabbits and four birds. Ms. Hall enjoys swimming, cooking, hiking and gardening.
She also has written a children’s novel and is working on several more.

10. Steven Lorenz
Vice President
Joining Neuse Networks in 2012, Steven has been instrumental in redefining and improving of the ONE Plan. He is tasked
with ensuring that customer needs are handled effectively, efficiently and economically. Prior to joining Neuse River
Networks, Steven worked for a Managed Services Provider providing pre sales engineering support and ongoing network
and systems administration support.
His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration. Professional
memberships include IEEE, IEEE Computer Society and ISSA.

Jim formed Neuse Networks in 1997 and specializes in managed services to
remotely automate IT maintenance and to take IT labor out of the equation.
He focuses on combining conventional client/server technologies with
virtualization, mobility, and cloud technologies to implement computer
networks for voice, video and data. His education includes Bachelor of Science
