“Read-i-cide n: The systematic killing of the
love of reading, often exacerbated by the
inane, mind-numbing practices found in
schools.”
4. Meeting-i-cide n: The hours of torture that
administrators put teachers through after
they have worked all day in hopes that they
will remember some of the information that
they are told, but often forget.
7. 1. Count off 1, 2, 1, 2, etc.
2. All 1’s line up on one side and all 2’s line up on
one side.
3. All 1’s receive a scenario card.
4. When given the cue, all 1’s will read their
scenario and all 2’s will offer a solution.
5. After 2’s have offered a solution, all 1’s will
begin to respond to 2’s solution
6. When time is called, all 2’s will move one place
to the left.
