Jeremy Casson - An Architectural and Historical Journey Around Europe
Print screens for contents
1. The first step to making my content page is opening up Quark and pressing project and
changing the settings to 3 columns. Once iv done this I then began adding my images off
choice where I want them. To do this you have to make a box with one off the tools on quark
and import the photos from your library. The reason I did this first is because I wanted to
navigate where I needed to write the information so I wouldn’t later have to change things
around.
2. After added my images I then added my headline to the top off my page in large
writing as I wanted it to stand out and appear bold so people can easily find it.
Underneath ‘contents’ I added the name off the magazine, the issue number and
also the month the magazine was released. The reason for this is because this is
the information content pages would usually feature, I made sure to do this in
smaller font as I didn’t want it to be the centre off attention as its not as
important.
3. The last step to creating my college magazine contents page is adding the regular
content and feature articles in 2 different columns. This completed the contents
page as the entire purpose of the contents page is to help people find the pages
they are looking for quickly and easily. I then added a brief description of what
the article is about for the feature articles in a smaller font.
