As a freshman, your main task is to study hard and develop a good study habit. Which among
your subjects do you consider need more of your attention and concentration? Prepare a grid to
show the budget of your study time.

                                    STAGE III – LEARNING PLAN
Introduction
      If you study properly and efficiently, you will be able to learn more. Your high school years
will be meaning and challenging. You need to have a good study habit and techniques to sharpen
your study skills.

Interaction
    1. Segue: Explain to students that, as freshman, they should develop or maintain good study
        habits. Ask them the following questions: What brings forth good study habits? What do
        readers use to understand what they read?
    2. Make a survey of the study habits of the students in the class.
        a. How many hours do you devote to studying your lesson daily?
        b. What is your most convenient time for studying?
        c. Where do you study?
        d. How do you budget your time for studying?
    3. Discuss with the students their answers. Have them compare their study habits with the
        tips for studying.
    4. Introduce SQ3R. Explain it.
    5. Have the students use SQ3R in doing the exercise on p.15.
