First Picture Narrative
So for my Photoshop assignment, I decided I wanted to switch faces with one of my
friends. I am not a Photoshop professional, so the edges are a little rough and it’s not perfect, but
I did what I could! I found a very easy to follow online tutorial for this.
First, I selected the first face with the lasso tool. Then, I created a new layer with Ctrl + J.
Next, I used the move tool to drag the face to the second person and lowered the opacity to help
me position it. Then with the quick selection tool, I highlighted all the parts of the face I
particularly wanted to keep on the second person.
Next, I created a mask and used the brush tool to fine-tune the edges of the face. I then
hid this layer and repeated the process with the second face. On the second face, I had to use
curves to adjust the tone of the skin colors to make them match better.
