2. The product I am proposing is an advert campaign for a
charity shop with a focus on fashion. My advertisement
campaign with feature 3 images. These image will consist
of 1 landscape image which will be used on a billboard,
and 2 portrait images which will be used in newspapers or
magazines as well as in bus stops. These images will
feature clothing that is sold in my selected charity shop.
3. The age of my target audience, is the age range is aged 16-19 years old.
This is because this age range can only get low paying jobs, so cannot
afford high cost clothing. This campaign will appeal to them because this
campaign is advertising stylish clothing at affordable prices.
My target audience is also female, this is because, in a charity shop, you
are more likely to see women’s clothing than you are men’s. I am also
focusing on women because the charity I have chosen, as well as helping
children, also support the mum of the child.
Although my campaign is mostly aimed at female, it will also advertise
male clothing, however, there will be more female models. I will have 2 of
my advertisement featuring female models, and one advertisement
featuring a male model.
The social class that my target audience comes under, is lower/working
class. This is because people of this social status receive little income and
will be looking for quality clothing for affordable prices. This means that
they can save money and use the money they saved on more important
things.
The areas of which my target audience lives, will be poorer areas and
council estates. Places include, Orford, Whitecross, and Longford.
4. Campaign Message
My campaign message for
this campaign is get high
quality clothing at
affordable prices and give
money to an amazing
cause.
Launch Date
The launch date of my
campaign will be just before
the beginning of summer, as it
will be advertising summer
clothes. This will be good
because my campaign will be
advertising what clothes will
be available and my chosen
charity shop for summer at a
relevant time of year.
5. 1st Poster
My first poster will be released on June 5th, 2017. It will be used to grab the attention of my target
audience.
2nd Poster
The second poster with be released on June 21st, 2017. This will leave a reasonable gap between
advertisements giving everyone enough time to see the first advertisement.
3rd Poster
The third poster will be released July 17th, 2017. This is because the beginning of summer is near and
so people will be needing summer clothing soon.
All Posters
On August 7th, 2017, all of my advertisements will be released to show all of the posters that have been
released.
Close of Campaign
The campaign will end September 11th. This is because this is the end of summer.
6. My chosen charity shop is located 37 London Rd,
Warrington WA4 6SG; this is in Stockton Heath.
To start, my campaign advertisements will start out far
away from my chosen charity shop. This will include places
such as Orford, which is 1.74miles away, Bewsey, which is
2.25miles away, Sankey Bridges, which is 2miles, Higher
Walton, which is 1.45miles.
7. Legal
Copyright
Copyright means that I have to
use my own work, which means
my own photographs have to be
used in my advertisements. It
also means that if I use my
charities logo, then I have to give
them full credit and not try to
pass it off as my own.
Deformation
Due to deformation, I can not
include any contact that can
harm someone’s lively hood or
reputation.
Obscenity
Ethnicity, Sexist, Religion, Age,
Gender, Class and Disability.
Ethical
Intellective
copyright
No stealing work or
recreating people’s
images/ideas.
8. Privacy
Privacy law refers to the laws that deal with the regulation of
personal information about individuals, which can be collected
by governments and other public as well as private
organizations and its storage use.
Misleading Adverts
You cannot lie about the price of the clothes or items within the
charity shop you cannot give the wrong address if you are
using the real charity shop location.
9. The slogan for my campaign is; “Spend little cash on
looking flash.”
10. The font I am going to be using is this is
because it is because it is fun and informal, to represent
the children who will benefit from the money customers
will be spending on clothes in “Claire House”. The idea of
the text font giving connotations of children will make the
audience of my campaign want to support the charity.

11. Image One
The first of my images will be portrait, this is so it will go in magazines, newspapers,
posters and bus stops. The image will consist of a model wearing clothes that have been
bought from the Claire House charity shop. Any text in my advertisements will be
written as if they are on a piece of paper.
Image Two
The second image will be portrait also; this will feature another model wearing another
outfit that has been bought from the same charity shop. Again, any text in my
advertisements will be written as if they are on a piece of paper.
Image Three
The third and final image will be landscape. This image will be landscape so that it will
fit on billboards, the size of the billboards will mean that many people will be attracted
to them because they are large and eye-catching. The image will include multiple
models all wearing clothing purchased from Claire House charity shop.
All of the images will include the logo for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
12. The colour scheme of my campaign will be the colours used
by my chosen charity. Those colours include; black, white,
blue, and red. These colours will be used because they are
the colours used in the logo for Claire House Children’s
Hospice.
13. The logo for my chosen
charity uses very basic
colours, as well as basic
fonts.
I will try to show this in my
posters by using a very basic
colour scheme, and using the
colours used in the logo.
However, because it is for a
children's hospice, the logo
also features what looks like
a child's drawing of a face.
Therefore I will try and reflect
the childishness in my work.
14. The first image in my
campaign will feature a
male model. This will be
the only photo with a male
model since my target
audience is female,
however, I must show that
my chosen shop sells
men's clothing.
Going with the summer
theme of my campaign, he
will be wearing shorts and
a t-shirt.
The picture will be taken
with the model leaning
against a tree to show
that clothing is good for
outdoors.
15. The second image will
feature a female model,
who will be wearing a thin
jumper and a pair of
jeans, this is to show that
my charity shop also sells
clothes for colder days as
well as hot summer days.
The photo will be taken
with the model leaning
against a fountain in
town. This is because
town is popular amongst
my target audience.
16. The third and final
photograph in my
campaign, will also
feature a female model,
This time the model will
be wearing a dress with
leggings. This will show
that the shop also sells
things for hotter days of
summer.
The photo will be taken
with the model sitting on
some steps in the town
centre.
