5. STOP! Question Time
• I went asking people I see everyday how often they
use their mobile devices for web use
o I got a lot of funny faces, like “DUH” –but that’s okay!
o 90% said they do frequently, 10% well…not so much.
o Pinch and Zoom action? Surprising conclusions.
7. Target audience
• Those who don’t know the development side of a
website, or those who don’t understand it to the
fullest.
• Someone looking for a responsive site rather than a
Flash based portfolio.
8. Brandy Coke
• Current student at The Art Institute of Tennessee-
Nashville. She enjoys every aspect of photography,
while she still has favorites. She hopes to work with
food staging and photography once she graduates
school.
• Brandy was a great candidate for this template
because she didn’t know how to upload any
content online. Let alone how to display it. This
template helped her organize her in progress
portfolio.
9. Abigayle Metcalf
• Abigayle is also a current student at The Art Institute
of Tennessee-Nashville. She is finishing out her Senior
year, meaning that graduation and the “real world”
are just around the corner. She enjoys fashion
forward photography, while showing her one of a
kind style.
• This template worked out great for Abigayle
because it helped her lay out the photos that
portray her style. She was mostly concerned with a
mobile friendly site so that people could see her
work easily and without hassle.
10. Grid?
• I chose the boxy grid style because…
o Scrapbook
o Collage influence
o Reminds me of print, and that’s a big part of photography
13. Fun Learnin’
• Project Management
• Keeping it clean
• Client struggle and success
The biggest part though, was keeping things within my
skillset. Making things accomplishable within the
timeframe and without losing focus.
14. Things to come…
• All about updating and improvements
• Keeping it up to date
• Making some of the things even better down the
road to keep up with web standards.
