3. Program Description
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician program provides training,
knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic and limited advanced
emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent
patients.
4. Employment
Opportunities: Part time and full time positions are available. Job
opportunities include Emergency Medical Services facilities, Hospitals, and
medical transport.
Salary: Salary is dependent upon the employment setting and geographic
location of the jobs.
Advancements in the Field: Graduates have the potential to attend
Paramedic school.

Certification exam fees: $100
non refundable.
Uniforms: EMT Program-specific

6. Timeline
How often do we register?
The EMT program begins every fall term on the Industrial Drive Campus
in Moultrie and the Tifton Campus.
What is the procedure to register?
Contact your program advisor or instructor by e-mail, telephone, or in
person during new student registration day or pre-registration week.
How long does it take to complete the program?
Two terms if you have no break in training.
