  2. 2. Program Description The Esthetician program is a certificate program that is designed to offer esthetics training for entry-level students. Completion of the program prepares students to sit for the Esthetics licensure examination give by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology .
  3. 3. Employment Graduates can be employed as a Cosmetic Esthetician in a spa, med-spa, dermatologist office, plastic surgeon ‘s office or a salon. Graduates can also be employed on a cruise line, makeup artist for resorts, skin care salesperson .
  4. 4. Admission Requirements Must be 17 years of age. Have a GED® diploma or High School Diploma. Take an entrance exam.
  5. 5. Timeline The Esthetician Program is open for enrollment every semester.

  9. 9. Frequently Asked Questions How much does a job in Esthetics pay? Pay depends on where you are employed. Larger geographic areas usually have more opportunity to make more. If employed at a salon, will I have to pay booth rent or will I be paid on commission? That depends on the employer.
