1. 2. How does your media product represent
particular social groups?
2. My target audience is 25+, It is targeted at
females interested in chart music; I find that the
music industry today has a heavy side of
fashion to it and especially I wanted to use this
in my magazine so because of this I looked in
to high fashion magazines such as Vogue and
Harper’s Bazaar which appeal to the same
target audience as mine. I analysed their
layouts of their front covers, content pages and
double-page spreads as that’s what my target
audience expects…
3. My model is wearing trendy clothing which is
what many musicians would wear, their clothing
contributes to what would appeal to my target
audience; the language I’ve used is quite formal
to an extent, the language is important as my
target audience is for professional working
women aged 25 years and over. In my main
image, my model is wearing a burgundy red
dress which matching red lips; her body is
facing side-on but her head is straight fully
engaging and attracting with the audience…
4. My main features are all famous, inspirational
world-class artists that would appeal to any
chart music fan and the main purpose was to
make my whole production seem as ‘classy’
and professional as it could, like Vogue and
Harper’s Bazaar they’re very neatly structured
magazines which obviously appeal to 25 years
old superbly well seeing as that’s their most
popular age group.
