Food and Water <ul><li>Grass and fruit </li></ul><ul><li>Drink water </li></ul><ul><li>Eat 300 pounds a day </li></ul><ul><li>Drink 50 gallons of water </li></ul><ul><li>Eat in the late morning and afternoon because it is the coolest part of the day </li></ul><ul><li>Eat 16 hours a day </li></ul>

Daily Behavior <ul><li>Each day 1 elephant take care of the baby </li></ul><ul><li>Each day 1 elephant helps the old elephants </li></ul><ul><li>A baby drinks milk from any female elephant </li></ul><ul><li>Each day some elephants help take care of the sick ones </li></ul><ul><li>Young elephants play with each other </li></ul>
