Joan of Arc

  1. 1. Joan of ArcShe was young. She believed. She fought. Why can’t you? Born in the Middle Ages, Joan of Arc is a crucial figure in Frenchhistory. At the age of 17 she was the youngest person to ever com-mand an army of a nation and, in only a few months, managed tochange the outcome of the Hundred Years War (1337-1453), heldbetween France and England. Adding her brilliant victories to all ofher all-correct prophetic ability, her devotion to God and commit-ment to purity - that made her into a saint -, her story can only bedescribed as incredible. Ana S. Ana C. Andreia M. Rute F.She was a hero. Be one! (Be your own!) 11.ºJ
