Immigration
I feel like everyone deserves a chance at a better life and if that means coming to
America then I think they should be allowed. They should not have to be afraid and hide, that is
the main cause of people disliking immigrants. People feel when we are not aware of the illegal
immigrants then we cannot track if they are paying taxes or accepting lower wages. I believe if
people want to come to America we also should not make it as hard and expensive. If people
come to America they should go through the legalization process for a small fee. They should be
given the chance to prove that they can abide by our rules and regulations. Have yearly checks
with these immigrants for the first five years to make sure they are not causing harm to the
country (felonies, drug charges, anything of that sort) and after that they can be a citizen. People
should not have to be afraid to live in America that they will be deported. Obviously if they are
afraid of that, wherever they came from is not a very good place. I think we should give them a
chance to better themselves and their lives like all born citizens of America have the chance of
doing. If these people were given rights here in America there wouldn’t be as big of an
“immigration problem” as there is today. Allow these people to work for minimum wage and
not over work them for lower. They deserve a chance in America.
