Life A life can not be violated unless threatened by others. We have the right to our life and we can protect it.
How it is used today We use our life today by living and not going around and killing everyone.
Liberty Liberty  gives us the right to believe what we want, have our own ideas and opinions, have what jobs we want, to have the right to participate in political surveys and votes, the right to meet in groups, and the right to buy, sell, and trade private property.
How it is used Today We us liberty today by using the right to believe what we want, have our own ideas and opinions, to have whatever jobs we want, to have the right to participate in political surveys and votes, the right to meet in groups, and the right to buy, sell, and trade private property.
Pursuit of Happiness The pursuit of happiness basically gives us the right to be happy as long as it dose not interfere with others rights.
How it is used Today We use this right today by getting the jobs we want taking vacations and just enjoying life.
Justice This right is like equality in a way because it states we all should be treated fairly and no one gets favored.
How it is used Today Justice is used everyday with cops, the court and everything fair.
Common Good This right states that we should all work together for the good of all. And being fair, (everyone happy).
How it is used today We use this right by recycling, and doing good for all.
Equality All people should be treated the same no matter what race, religion, or where you were born. We all have the same political and economic equality.
How it is used Today We use this right by treating everyone the same.
Diversity Accept other people’s differences for who they are no matter what race, language, dress, or where you were born.
How it is used Today We use this right today by treating people the same.
Popular sovereignty Means the government gets the power from the people.
How it is used Today We use this right today by voting.
Patriotism Loving your county and showing it.
How it is used Today We show this right by doing the pledge of allegiance and hanging flags celebrating the forth of July.
Rule of Law Everyone must obey the law.
How we use it Today We use this by obeying the law.
