ü Analyze department requests for material. Prioritize purchases and expedite service
agreements based on project criticality, delivery schedule, budget, scope of supply, and
overall department activity program. Upload all requests onto Internal Computer System
ü Managed 15,000 areas of services and products with different providers. Negotiation and
re-‐negotiation of prices as well as terms and conditions of service agreements
ü Allocation and distribution of inventory items, such as, drilling products, equipment and
consumables to 20 different distribution centers and loading stations to supply over 100
offshore drilling platforms

ü Reception and coordination of supplier’s proposals (200 proposals/month)
ü Coordinate bidding process, ensure provider selection was done according to the internal
procedures and approval processes, including communicating with suppliers and
management regarding status of the bidding process, and selection of successful bidders
ü Verify suppliers were in compliance with regulatory authorities
ü Maintain all legal forms for final approval, corroborating final price, taxes, tax exemptions
when applicable, and delivery schedule. Verified that offers were in compliance with
PDVSA and Governmental regulations
ü Responsible to place Purchase Orders and coordinate process until good’s delivery was
completed

ü Evaluation of internal clients and suppliers’ satisfaction level using surveys and
measurement tools, in compliance with corporate standards. Identify deficiencies and
