2022 A NEW ERA FOR
FF1?
Hello and welcome to Fantasy Formula One 2022.
Yes the hybrid era has ended and now we have
simplified bodywork and fatter tyres to make racing
easier, will it work, well it hasn’t with every other
change they’ve made…
2022 will (hopefully) be a 23 race season , including
a new race in Miami.
We’ve had a few drivers swap teams and a couple of
new ones as well for this season including the
returning Alexander Albon
But as with every year there is still some important
questions that still need answering –
Can Hans Van De Ven retain the title or will he
disappear like the rest of us, it’s all downhill after
winning in your first season Hans
Will we complete a full season without COVID
impacting us?
How long will it take Horner and Wolff to be
whingeing on the radio?
Will anyone ever win title number three?
Does anybody read this or do you just skip straight
to the prices??
Well they might not be that important but what is
important is that Fantasy Formula One is about
having a good laugh.
The entry fee is just £3 per team and you’re
allowed to put in as many teams as you like (within
reason).
The scoring is the same as last year and the rules
on the next few pages for those who are new or
have forgot.
The closing date for all entries and money is
Monday 14th March (Monday before the first
Grand Prix).
The prizes are as follows –
A bottle of wine to the winner of each grand prix.
All the money left over in the prize fund after all the
other prizes have been paid for will be divided up as
follows
1st Place - 50%
2nd Place - 30%
3rd Place - 20%
The top three will also receive a medal.
The total prize money will be announced after all the
teams are in.
Last year’s pay out was –
1stplace £85
2nd place £51
3rd place £34
SO GET THEM TEAMS IN AND GOOD LUCK……………
FIRST WRITE UP OUT AFTER THE BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX
