The document provides information about Fantasy Formula One, a fantasy auto racing game, for its 20th season in 2016. It discusses the format of the game where participants draft two drivers, an engine, and constructor from real Formula One teams within a £50 million budget. It outlines the 21-race schedule for 2016 and scoring system where participants earn points based on their drivers' and teams' qualifying, race, and retirement results. The document also explains rules like allowed joker plays that double a team's points and contingencies for driver or team changes. It encourages entering a team for the upcoming season by March 14th by completing the included entry form.

20 YEARS AND
STILL GOING
1996... Mad Cows Disease hits the UK, the summer was
filled with the sound of Three Lions and three men
played fantasy formula one for a pint and a curry, little
did we know we would still be playing it now.
Twenty years on two of the men have won the title twice
and the other has won bugger all, you can guess who
that is....
Formula One is only a few weeks away so it's time to
welcome you all to Fantasy Formula One 2016
2016 will be a 21 race season and there has been plenty
of comings & goings , we have a new team in Haas and a
new grand prix circuit in Azerbaijan .
But as with every year there is still some important
questions that still need answering –
Will Jamie Henshaw retain his title or will he disappear like
every other champion?
Could we have our first triple champion this season?
Will McLaren do anything this season?
Will Pastor Maldonado be doing this year (should never have
picked 13 as his driver number)?
Will I ever win anything?
Well they might not be that important but what is
important is that Fantasy Formula One is about having a
good laugh.
The entry fee is just £3 per team and you’re allowed to
put in as many teams as you like (within reason).
The scoring is the same as last year and the rules on the
next few pages for those who are new or have forgot or

. Each team will have 2 jokers to play during any race in the season, when
played your team will score double points.
. Both jokers MUST be played at two different races during the season, if a
team does not play their jokers by the end of season their jokers will be
played for them automatically.
.To play a joker you must inform Mick Brown or your local representative
no later than the Wednesday night prior to the race on the following
numbers -
Mobile 0785 130 3323
or E-Mail Ilkeston-ff1@ntlworld.com
Note – If you score a negative score with a joker, the negative score will be
doubled.
MISC
At the time of going to press not all drivers have been confirmed, if you pick
an unconfirmed driver and he does not drive you will get his replacement.
Any driver being replaced for any reason apart from being banned, your
scoring will continue with your new driver.
If your driver is banned for a race you will score -100 points for that race,
the engines and chassis will score as normal with the replacement driver
If a team pulls out for any reason (as Marussia and Caterham did) and your
team has an element of that team (driver ,engine or constructor) that
element will score zero points for the rest of the season.
In the event of a tie first and second place prizes will be divided out equally
but the FF1 title will go to the team that has achieved the best position in a
race (as per F1).
There is no limit to the number of teams you are allowed to enter (within
reason)
