ALL READY FOR 2019
Well somebody has to be and if you are reading this
it means the email system is working this year.
So Dry January has finished (wasn’t dry for me) so it
must be time for me to welcome you all to the 2019
season of Fantasy Formula One.
2019 once again will be a 21 race season, this time
finishing in December (we’ll be announcing the
winner on Christmas Day if it gets any later).
There has been plenty of comings & goings; Alonso
has moved on and already won his first race, we
have a bunch of new drivers including a couple of
new British drivers and the welcome return to
Robert Kubica after his horrific accident 8 years ago.
But as with every year there is still some important
questions that still need answering –
Can Ollie Smith retain the title or will he disappear
like the rest of us?
Will somebody take their third title and become the
greatest manager in FF1 history?
How did Lance Stroll get his drive at the Racing Point
Team 😉?
Will we hear anything from Ady Twigg this season
after the first race?
Can a get away from mentioning the B word for the
whole season (doubt it)?
Well they might not be that important but what is
important is that Fantasy Formula One is about
having a good laugh.
The entry fee is just £3 per team and you’re
allowed to put in as many teams as you like (within
reason).
The scoring is the same as last year and the rules
on the next few pages for those who are new or
have forgot.
The closing date for all entries and money is
Monday 11th March (Monday before the first
Grand Prix).
The prizes are as follows –
A bottle of wine to the winner of each grand prix.
All the money left over in the prize fund after all the
other prizes have been paid for will be divided up as
follows
1st
Place - 50%
2nd
Place - 30%
3rd
Place - 20%
The top three will also receive a medal.
The total prize money will be announced after all the
teams are in.
Last year’s pay out was –
1st
place £125.50
2nd
place £75.30
3rd
place £50.20
The winner of the league will also receive their name
on the Fantasy Formula One shield
SO GET THEM TEAMS IN AND GOOD LUCK……………
