Although most interpret this to be motivation for someone to follow their most outrageous and
elaborate dream I find it to be a wee bit more reprimanding. To me it is a verse full of chagrin for
those who continue to put off the things they needed to do a week ago. To me it is a command to
stop with all the wispy and foolish excuses in favor of starting towards a better, less stressful,
tomorrow! Most, namely myself, refuse to heed this call; opting instead for a life of half lived
relaxation followed by hectic bursts of tears turmoil and stress; it's a life lived down to the wire, a
life on the edge, a life run by the fact that you are perpetually behind schedule.
As terribly exciting as that may sound this constant wave of slow–mo into overdrive is taxing and,
as one might expect, not conducive to a worker with top quality output. Even though its common
knowledge that procrastinating has never been the best route to take somehow as we go through life
it is in fact the path most travelled. So, if it's so bad for us why do we continue to do it? How does
our procrastination affect us? How does it affect others? Most importantly how do we fix this

If we take SpongeBob as the representation of children in the adult world, then surely, Squidward
represents the adults in the way that Nickelodeon would like to show them. Sarah Banet–Weiser
pointed out that the "Nickelodeon's brand identity: the Us vs. Them philosophy, wherein kids are

Many people have their own heroes, be it big or small. Heroes who save their lives or make their
lives better or inspire them to do activities. For me, my hero is on a technicality. While I never knew
him personally, he is still responsible for creating a show that inspired me to do animation when I
was little. On top of that, the show this person has created became a very popular and highly
influential force in the pop culture world and became an icon. It touched the hearts of millions in
more ways than one, from bringing either a slight chuckle or a huge impact on a person's life. That

Some scientist and theorist believe that a person 's current position in life is the result of a
combination of their experiences and interacting influences. This can occur from infancy through
very old age, even before birth. For example, career choices can be affected by personal experiences
or inborn abilities. This may be from the individual or the influence of adult role models, which can
be positive or negative. According to Sigelman, Rider, & De George–Walker (2013), human
development is shown to be very complex, with many interconnected processes through the modern
lifespan perspective. This context is based on seven key assumptions, where I will analyse in depth
in this paper and will show how the modern life span perspective is relevant to my decision to
become a Social worker based on my experiences.
The life span perspective in Paul Baltes ' view is the "study of constancy and change in behaviour
throughout the life course from conception to death." (Baltes, 1987, p.611). Being a development
psychologist, Baltes constructed seven frameworks that shows that development is multi directional,
which means different processes of change all through the lifespan. Secondly, development is
multiply influenced by a person 's development, an effect brought about from both biological and

voicing their opinion over this, thus strengthening the arguments revolving around this issue. The
fact of the matter is that most of the statistics concerning abortion do not depict a satisfactory
picture. In fact, abortion has always been a heated subject amongst the masses as people have their
own school of thoughts regarding it.
That being said, there are many laws governing the legality of this issue. While in as much as 30

innuendos and sex sells. Using these negative gender related stereotypes could damage the idea of a

correlates to the number of those who continuously perform meaningless tasks.

suggests in the essay that he is part of this group and this allows the audience to connect with him on

Audience: A neutral group of individuals who are influenced by the modern world.
Analysis
Despite relentlessly performing the same and insignificant assignments daily, these people do it
because it provides the feeling of safety and purpose.

"This is the zombies' world, and we just live in it. But we can live better" (Klosterman 3.
Purpose: The mindless actions carried out in the modern world are tiresome and numerous and
unless it is contained, individuals will have their motivations drained until they degrade to nothing
but the metaphorical concept of a zombie.
Analysis
Although a day–to–day routine is already engraved in the consciousness of many, it is ideal to break
away from these set plans as continuing it will simplify humans to nothing but zombies who are
only capable of one function.

alienation in the everyday routines of modern life. It is in this style of Herman Melville's writing
that we are able to not only see the damage alienation can cause to a human mind, body and spirit,
but also to see and understand his own personal trials and tribulations of conforming to how society

A prevalent aspect of Iranian life is their significant focus on family. In Iran, family formed the
foundation of Muslim society (Dhami). This focus on family was evident in Persepolis in that the
grandmother lived with the family and her words of wisdom influenced Marjane constantly
throughout the story. Marjane returned to the oppressiveness of the Regime not because she missed
her home, but because she missed the support her family provided her. When she divorced with

health physically, psychologically and socially: Socially, modern life affects the social relations,
especially with the use of internet to chat with others. People use internet use internet messenger to
communicate with each other. This will lead to the situation of social isolation as a result of
spending long time on the internet. As consequence, the person will isolate himself at home and
declines the involvement of family members. Due to technological development, we could not
ignore the degration of values of our society. Younger generation speaks lie freely and they don't
hesitate sending their parents at old age homes. Youth starts taking drugs and alcohol and violation
