We arrive to the airport late at night. We have been travelling since 12 hours. The vacation
was a lot of fun. We went to the beach and swam the ocean. The culture in this country is
much different than in Colombia. Finally, it is time to go home. We live on 155 Maple
Street at a big house. The flight leaves in 10:30pm. I hope it is on time because I have a
very important meeting at the morning. The flight takes around 1 hour and 27 minutes.

There is one very simple rule about prepositions. And, unlike most rules,
this rule has no exceptions.
Rule: A preposition is followed by a "noun". It is never followed by a verb.
Note: A proposition can also follow a noun.
Here are some examples of prepositions after verbs and before nouns:
