This is the outcome of presentation at a workshop during the Irish Foster Care Association (IFCA) National "Why we care" Conference: 14th– 16th November 2014. the workshop focuses on lifelong learning for Foster parents.

4. The workshop was informal and interactive.
Participants were invited to engage and share.
Foster parents took the opportunity to share
their experiences of learning with each other
in small groups and then to relate this back
to the bigger group
