The Philippines has adopted UNESCO's Education for All framework to provide universal basic education through early childhood care, quality primary education, eradicating illiteracy, and continuing education programs. The Philippines has also adopted the Millennium Development Goals to reduce poverty and improve health, education, gender equality, and the environment.
