 Funding requests are for a three (3) year demonstration
period on each respective project.
 Funding Sources - FDOT: Service Development Grants,
Transit Corridor Program, Transportation Regional
Incentive Program (TRIP)
 Requires a 50% local match
 Extensive coordination with municipalities, Miami-Dade
County, FDOT, SFRTA, MDX, and Florida Turnpike
Enterprise

4. Coral Gables: Flex
Route via Electric
Vehicles
• Fills First/Last Mile Gap. Includes
new service area to the West and
South.
• Direct Connection to Douglas
Metrorail Station.
• Funding request:
• $209,733 per year
• 2019-2021(State Fiscal Year)
• $234,150 (53%) annual local match
• Funding Source:
• FDOT Service Development Grant

5. Town of Cutler Bay:
Cutler Bay Express • Direct connections to South Dade
Transitway, Metrorail.
• Congestion relief and parking
relief at Dadeland South Station.
• Funding request:
• $192,500 per year
• 2019-2021(State Fiscal Year)

6. City of Doral: FIU
Trolley Route
• Connects to three existing trolley
routes.
• Provides connectivity to Palmetto
Metrorail Station and FIU Panther

become permanent.
