The Simpsons
1. Analysis of The Simpson's 20th
Anniversary Special in 3D on
ice
2. Framing & Filming
The interviewee is a medium close up sitting on the left side but the
direction he is looking is to the right. This is because the interviewer
position is on the right. The documentary then cuts to another
interviewee who is sitting on the opposite side. This was done to show
different variety of interviews. Both of these interviews use rule of thirds.
3. Archive Material & Cutaways &
Mise en scene
The documentary then cuts to a archive. This is because they've
changed the person they've interviewed so to hide this jump cut they've
place a cutaway to make know one notice. The background of the
interviewee is cardboard cut out of the Simpson's characters. This was
done as the documentary is about The Simpson's and the background
is always relevant to the topic of the documentary
4. Graphics
The graphic underneath are in white and in a simply font. This is done so all the
attention doesn't go from the interviewee. The graphic shows what his name is and
what he have in common with the documentary .
