Compare And Contrast Donald Trump And Bernie Sanders

ENGL–1010
Miller Bernie Sanders versus Donald Trump Election year is upon the American public once again. Time for televised debates between politicians
clamoring for their party's spot on the presidential race. Time for billboards and commercials attempting to garner public support and sympathy, and
time for issues facing the American public to be brought to the forefront of the American consciousness. Amongst the many varied politicians
attempting to run for president, two have been interesting enough to try and compare and contrast between them: Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.
Donald Trump is the current front–runner of the Republican Party, whilst Sanders ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So then, what of the Democrat nominee he is being compared against? Bernie Sanders is currently second behind Hillary Clinton in the polls yet he
already has his own passionate following, with his own agendas and positions on foreign policy, social issues, and the economy. Bernie's campaign
so far has been primarily regarding the economy, and his campaign neatly ties in the economy of the country with its foreign policy and social issues.
The most prominent of these issues that Sanders rails against is obviously the inequality between the various classes in America, between the rich and
the poor. Sanders still addresses racial violence and LGBT rights on his main website, as is obvious given the stance of theDemocratic party as a whole
on these issues, but class inequality is still the primary issue of his campaign, at least until recently (BernieSanders). In a debate held in the
Democratic town hall of South Carolina, as reported by Daniel Marans of the Huffington Post, Sanders began to emphasize racial issues in his
campaign in an attempt to appeal to the minority vote similar to Clinton (The Huffington Post). Previously, it can be assumed that any talk of racial
or minority issues would have eventually rounded back to economic inequality, as the two are often intertwined in practice. This emphasis on the
economy is the singular defining aspect of Sanders's political campaign and everything else always ends up tying back into this. Sanders's foreign
policy has been considered to be quite sound, by sources such as U.S News, as it ties in the local and political spheres with the economic ones (Ian
Hurd). Sanders weighs the cost of each action, and how it will affect individuals on the local economic level. Military intervention may serve American
interests in the short–run, but what about the long–term destabilization of the

Clinton V. Trump 's Presidential Election
Clinton V. Trump This year's presidential election has been riddled with controversy and drama. The two presidential nominees, Hillary Clinton, and
Donald Trump, each have questionable acts. As voting time approaches and the debates come to an end many individuals must decide who is fit to run
the country. By considering their backgrounds, verifying the validity of their policies, and brining into consideration their performance in the debates, a
suitable president should be found. Born in Chicago, Hillary Clinton grew up in a middle–class family living in the suburbs of Illinois. Clinton first
attended Wellesley College, then continued her education at Yale. In 1972 Hillary Clinton was one of 27 women in her graduating class, with a
degree in Law she moved to Arkansas. While in Arkansas she became a member of the Arkansas University faculty, teaching law. After becoming
first lady in 1992, Clinton spent her time fighting for children and women's rights, working with CHIP to provide affordable healthcare. In 2000
Clinton served as the first female senator of New York. (Everything You need to Know About Hillary Clinton). In 2008 Clinton decided to run for
presidency but later suspended her campaign after the majority went to Barrack Obama. When Obama was elected, he nominated her for the position
of Secretary of State which she took in 2009 (Hillary Clinton Biography). In Clintons 2016 campaign she has focused on making debt free college

American President Pros And Cons
I feel that it is extremely important to show the way the president has been behaving or acting because it is concerning how he likes to talk about
banning Muslims from the seven countries like Syria, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iraq. There was also a time where a judge called
Gonzalo Curiel, was presiding over a case against Trump University, he went to say that "He's a Mexican, Trump told CNN. "We're building a wall
between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings, rulings that people can't even believe." "Claiming that a person can't do
their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment," House Speaker Ryan said, though he clearly endorsed
Trump. When asked by CNN's Jake Tapper if he would condemn Duke and say he didn't want a vote from him or any other white supremacists, Trump

Analysis Of ' Demagoguery And Fallacies ' Essay

"Demagoguery and Fallacies" In all speeches, we used different types of demagoguery to make our statements more appealing to our audience. Patricia
Roberts–Miller studied the principles of demagoguery and how they appeal to the public to make appropriate decisions. Patricia Roberts also state
"that the most that information, the less likely the public will make appropriate decisions", with this information we can conclude how they can be
used to appeal to the people. in different topics we use different demagoguery or fallacies to divide people into two different groups; the ingroup and
outgroup. The ingroup is viewed as the good and correct group while the outgroup is viewed as wrong and bad. Demagoguery occurs mostly in times
of political and economic crisis. In the speech of George Wallaceon the topic of segregation and Donald Trump 's speech on the topic of immigration
are perfect examples of the use of demagoguery. I will analyse the use of demagoguery and fallacies; such as grandstanding, demonising, nationalism,
and hasty generalization, throughout their speeches to see how they appeal to the audience, I believe that the strategies use will show how the
argument is inaccurate or how it relies on fear . In George Wallace in his speech as the "Governor of Alabama" was written by Asa Carter, a Ku Klux
Klan leader during the height of the civil right movement. Wallace speech uses demagoguery such as

A Son's Campaign Speech Analysis
Thank you. Thank you very much. You have all been very kind to Donald and me, to our young son, Barron, and to our whole family. It's a very
nice welcome, and we are excited to be with you at this historic convention. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) I'm so proud of your choice for president of
the United States, my husband, Donald J. Trump! (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) And I can assure you he's moved by this great honor. The 2016
Republican primaries were fierce and started with many candidates, 17 to be exact. And I know that Donald agrees with me when I mention how
talented all of them are. They deserve the respect and gratitude from all of us. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) However, when it comes to my husband, I

this unlikely campaign into a movement that is still gaining in strength and number. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) The primary season and its toughness is
behind us. Let's all come together in a national campaign like no other. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) The race will be hard–fought all the way to
November. There will be good times and hard times and unexpected turns. It would not be a Trump contest without excitement and drama.

Paul Ryan's Influence On American Politics
The current presidential election has wrought a quagmire of unthinkable actions by politicians in plain sight of the American public's eye. With
specific regard to the GOP, the former playbook of politics, consistent with unwavering party loyalty, has certainly been pushed out of print; especially
by current speaker of the house, Paul Ryan. This essay will detail the estranged relationship between Paul Ryan and his party base, as rendered by New
York Times correspondent Robert Draper, scrutinize the article's inherent biases, and ultimately contextualize the situation in terms of Kelly's
leadership patterns. This political cycle surely has made a spectacle of American politics. Donald Trump, the boisterous personality and current GOP

First, in pairing Paul Ryan with Donald Trump, the current House Speaker could easily be described as, "capable of contributing to the leadership
process, but [also] disgruntled and cynical" (McManus and Perruci 46), refusing to do so; an alienated follower. It is not in Ryan's interest to
unwholly commit party loyalty, especially with 2016 being such a divisive election year, nonetheless his failure to fall on his sword for Trump
displays a form of cynicism and alienation from the GOP nominee. Within this instance of leadership, Ryan easily is characterized as an alienated
follower. Next, in the context of seeing Paul Ryan under the leadership of entity that is the GOP, Ryan is certainly a survivor. The survivor is a
very dynamic role on Kelly's followership model, in that the survivor's, "goal is not so much to achieve the common goal of the group, as it is to
achieve their personal goal of surviving in the organization" (McManus and Perruci 47). Ryan voiced to House Republicans that he was done
defending Donald Trump, but he never rescinded his support for the nominee. The Speaker is walking a fine line with the GOP here, doing all that he
can to exhaust his

The Rights Of Freedom Of Speech
The Founders made the press a First Amendment priority in the United States Constitution as a "protected role" to act as a check on elected officials.
The press was part of the Constitutional "checks and balances" in holding elected officials accountable and to be observant for exploitation, as the
press were in essence "the eyes and ears of the people." Freedom of the press is the irrefutable privilege to propagate opinions in print without
censorship by the government. Americans enjoy freedom of the press under the First Amendment to the Constitution, which states: "Congress shall
make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the

Synchronously, in a 'revival' of the two most credible (progressive leaning) newspaper juggernauts, the Post and Times, are the saving grace in
protecting our American democracy and way of life. Assisting the American public to view and absorb "real facts" and "evidence," in order to expose
the new most corrupt President in United States history, Donald J. Trump.
What the press has done in investigative journalism is nothing short of the very best of American know–how, pride and grit. With the additional
evidence constantly leaking through the current White House like a sieve, is overwhelmingly apparent to the majority of political pundits and
syndicated columnists, that this author is going to be proven completely and irrefutably accurate...
The abuse of this power is also just as frightening as a sitting President being controlled or manipulated by a foreign power, in order to undermine the
American government and its supportive political structure, in hopes of weakening there most hated nemesis, the United States of America. And on
that account, that brings us to U.S. news organization, Fox News...
There is such a thing as 'alternative–facts' however, it is better known by its ancient Latin name, known to us all as pure bull–shit. Yes, it's the carefully
manipulated and chaotically fabricated news reporting in order to not use the freedom of press for the good of mankind, rather, to use their forum to
indoctrinate or brainwash their unsuspecting test subjects.

White House React To Women's March With Silence Analysis
The article of the week " White House reacts to Women's March With Silence " was basically about how Donald Trump is ignoring all the protests
right outside the White House. The article was week was interesting, because of the way reacted to the protests. There were hundreds of thousand of
people protesting for Women's March all over the country. What I learned from the article is how hundreds of thousands of people protested against
Donald Trump. It surprises me that Trump barely reacted to the protesters right outside the White House.
First of all, I think Donald Trump shouldn't have ignored the protests. He addressed the protests with a single tweet " Peaceful protests are a
hallmark of our democracy. Even if I don't always agree, I recognize the rights of people to express their views. " ... Show more content on

Which means he obviously saw them. Then, Trump's Press Secretary Sean Spicer planned to make a statement. All Spicer did was scold reporters, and
he did not answer any protest question. I researched inaugurations and I found that a inauguration is the transfer of power from the previous president
to president elect. Donald Trump's inauguration was on January 20th 2017. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts swore in Donald Trump. Since
Trump is our new president, he should at least address the protesters.
Besides, the first amendment law states congress shall make no law abridging freedom of speech. I think it is really amazing so many came to protest
outside the White House. I didn't think so many people would be protesting. I really think all these protests are great, we are using the first amendment.
All these woman marching down to the White to protest against Trump, I am so glad they are doing this. If no one says anything about what they
think is wrong, nothing will ever change. I personally think Trump is not fit to be president. Trump is disrespecting all the protesters by ignoring

Introduction
I chose to write about candidate Donald J. Trump because his idea of improving economics, creating more job opportunities and diminishing the gap
between classes is favored by a large number of people in middle class and lower class, who are important forces during the election. Not believing in
the American Dream claimed by Obama any longer, these people want to see something solid and practical which can actually improve their lives.
Trump may be a good choice for they.
Message
With everything that Donald J. Trump has gone through in his past his main theme is that he was a very successful business man on real property and
other business interests worldwide, along with his famous Trump Tower, casinos and hotels. To gain greater popularity, Trump joined TV show, judged
on beauty pageants and guest starred on TV dramas and movies. Overall, Little political experience did he had in the past.
Image
Trump's image that comes to mind to most people at first is that he is a jerk, an old madman who loves saying Reagan's "make America great again".
It seems that he can get annoyed very easily and likes criticizing people. This characteristic is a two–edged sword that it can be charming to those who
like him, but very undesirable to those who hate him. With zero experience on politics, Trump's presidential nomination is considered a joke. In order
to gain greater attention

Wyatt hurried to gather his clothes before heading to the shower to get the sweat off. He dressed in a pair of jeans and a dark blue t–shirt since his

needed to be at the station for six thirty because of the briefing before the shift starts.
Wyatt pulled into the station's parking lot five minutes later since the traffic wasn't that bad yet. He scrambled out the door after turning his truck off.
Wyatt bite back a groan as his chest started to hurt from the quick movements. He shook his head because he forgot to see how bad his injury was.

Wyatt didn't have to wait long for someone to come and get him. He wasn't surprised to see Chief Robert Shelton himself.

Russian Democracy Case Study
Russia's Interference In the 2016 American presidential election, Russia hacked into the voting system, and skewed the votes in favor of Donald
Trump. In 2013 there were records of President Trump talking about how he has started to gain ties with people that were high up in the Russian
government."Well I've done a lot of business with the Russians. They're smart and they're tough."(Horwitz, 2017) this was stated in an interview with
David Letterman. And for a while President Trump, over tweets, talked a lot about how many similar ideas he and Putin had with each other. While
Barack Obama was president he put up a few sanctions on Russia, to keep their economy in check without having to start a war, because America found

That is until federal agents found out that Trumps foreign policy adviser, George Papadopoulos, had been lying to them (Ward, 2017). Papadopoulos
repeatedly told the F.B.I. that he wasn't in any contact with Russia during the 2016 election. To this day he was apparently still contacting Russia
because someone there said that they would go and tell him some secrets about Hillary Clinton's emails and secrets (Waldman, 2017). The F.B.I.
eventually got enough evidence on him to arrest him on July 27th. According to Vox.com Papadopoulos originally pleaded guilty to the charges, but
did not formally announce this until October 5th. And even after the formal plea a special council member, Robert Mueller, somehow got it the court
to keep silent because he didn't want the President's reputation to be damaged (Ward, 2017). Now that it has been uncovered everybody is aware that
the foreign policy adviser that Trump had hand picked, went and lied to the F.B.I. and had direct contact with Russian higher–ups. During the late part
of October Paul Manafort, and Rick Gates were put under house arrest. While the F.B.I. was investigating just what had happened during the 2016
election they found out the Paul Manafort had 3 passport all with different numbers, a fake email, and a phone that couldn't be traced because it was

Donald Trump's Conspiracy Essay
Five years ago, who'd have thought Donald Trump could become the most powerful person in the world? Truth may be stranger than fiction, but if
there's any lesson here, it's that too many people prefer fiction to the truth. Conspiracy theories have gripped the public imagination to such an extent
that an armchair crank stands at the White House lawn.
Preening himself at the mirror of his nation's prejudices and delusions of grandeur, his policies of extreme nationalism, and protectionism, are founded
upon conspiracy and misinformation.
His self–professed "straight talking" starts with a "that's good" or a "that's bad", and then proceeds in a linear stream of consciousness resulting in

Since that dГ©jГ vu moment, when her quavering falsetto echoed through the Senate chamber, informing us that we're in danger of being swamped

Mysteriously, the conspicuous failure of Asians to overrun us since her prediction 20 years ago, hasn't dampened Hanson's confidence, or fatally
wounded her credibility. Quite the opposite, in fact. Why is this so?
An answer may be found in the Dunning–Kruger effect: the curious phenomenon of "confident idiots" emboldened by their own ignorance, rather than
cautioned by it.
The 1999 Dunning–Kruger study found those armed with low metacognitive skills grossly overestimated their own competence in metacognitive tasks.
Those with test scores in the 12th percentile estimated themselves to be in the 62nd.
And so, according to David Dunning, those with intellectual deficits are often "blessed with an inappropriate confidence, buoyed by something that

A Research Study On Network Density While Managing...
It is quite impossible for a student to do his/her PhD in isolation. PhD is a research degree and prime objective of the PhD research is to contribute to
building scholarship of a field of study. As in most cases, PhD students should work with a mentor or a group of mentors building networks is
necessary to facilitate such collaborative ventures in the academia.
In order to build networks in my field, I approach my mentors and fellow researchers whether I can be a part of their research. Apart from that I always
look for the opportunities to attend conferences and seminars to be introduced with scholars in the field of my interest. Conference and seminars are
very useful means to build networks as many scholars share their contacts and research interests to each other. I pick those scholars from the conference
brochures whose research interest matches with my own interests. I try to contact them after the conference and show my interest to collaborate with
them in publishing.
It is important to think about network density while managing networks and getting desired results of those. I have been able to keep full network
density while building and managing networks with the scholars working in academia. Comparing to that, networks with practitioners, community
workers and other professionals are not that much dense. It is quite natural for me to have more density in academic networks as I work in academia
and prefer to build cross relationships with other people in

U.s. Obama And Donald Trump 's Views On Immigration Essay
Final Written Assignment
Throughout this presidential election process, Americans have been forced to recognize several different issues in the economy. Out of the main issues
that are being debated and will continue to be debated, immigration seemed to be the one of the most focus due to it's crucial impact on countries
world wide. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's views on immigration were presented numerous times throughout the election and Americans
formulated whom they would vote for partially based on these views. Within our nation, the issue of immigration has become one of the most talked
about topics in politics because of the significant impact it has on the American people. In summation, Hillary Clinton believed in bringing families that

Analysis Of Donald Trump's False News
The facts?? Donald Trump does nothing but spread false information. This fake news epidemic begins with him. He even lied in this video, he said that

But there are some points which have also affected his image in a negative manner. The press and the social media have criticized few of statements.
For example,
–>The billionaire was booed in the first minutes of the debate, after refusing to rule out a run as a third party candidate.
–>Donald Trump ranted and blustered his way through a raucous first debate of the 2016 presidential election, smirking as he admitted calling women

the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York City. He was the son of Frederick Christ ( Fred) Trump and Mary Anne Trump. His

Two issues that Trump has hyper–focused on are immigration and job creation during his first 100 days in office. First, I will talk about immigration,
which many would say was his main platform for his election. This was the issue he built his "wall" campaign on. There are over 11.3 million illegal
immigrants living in the United States. Critics say that this "wall" that Trump wants to build is unaffordable and downright unrealistic. From the
beginning of his initial bid for president he was backed by many to build this wall along the 2000 mile US–Mexico border. When Trump first became
instated as the president, he pledged a contiguous, physical wall or other similarly secure, contiguous, and impassable physical barrier. Trump
approached the Mexican president, Enrique PeГ±a Nieto that his country will have to pay for the wall to be built. This didn't go over to well
creating some tension between trump and our neighbor to the south with in his first month of election. Enrique PeГ±a Nieto wanted nothing to do
with paying for the wall since the price tag is so high. With this Ideal to build a wall, he also added as a side note to hire over 10,000 plus
immigration officers to eliminate federal money to sanctuary cities. These cities refuse to deport undocumented immigrants. Also he vowed to catch
and deport the millions of men, women and children who live in this country without documentation. As of his 100th day in office there has been a
recorded decrease in illegal Southwest border crossings due to his increase in border security. Homeland Security as of March 8 release data
showing that in there was alone 18,762 illegal immigrants caught. This is estimated as a 60% decline from november before Trump took over in
office. The only stipulations to this data is , it does not give a general trend since it's been such a short period of

Apple Watch Debate
The Apple Watch has a few changes, but not as much as the new IPhone 7. For example the Apple Watch is now Waterproof. I would say that is the
biggest change. It also has personalized watch faces, and that's not that big of a change. In my opinion, I would stick with the one you have and wait
for the nicer, newer one to come out.
In the article I read today, they were talking about the flu shot. "It's that season again and it's time to get vaccinated! But maybe wait until November."
They mentioned how the Flu virus might show up later in the year, and so if you get it too early, the vaccination might wear off. That not too good for
me, because I already got mine.
I read on last night's debate with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. In the Articles that I read, most of them said Clinton won, and some Trump. I
know that their all opinions, but the majority was towards Clinton, because she had a lot of, "burns," and was prepared. The main conflict in that
debate was the insults. Trump had no fresh information or insults. Do not think that me saying this means I'm on one particular side, because I'm not.

Body Shaming Body shaming has become a rising topic within the social and political world. The main reason as to why body shaming has been
brought up is thanks to the most recent release of 13 Reasons Why, the Netflix series, on the 31st of March in 2013. The origin of the series is from a
novel written by Jay Asher in 2007. In the series, the main character, Hannah Baker, commitssuicide. She sends cassettes tapes to thirteen different
people who she claims aided in her decision making to commit suicide. The show displays a series of social issues that a typical high school may

The main sources that body shaming is seen in are forms of social media, advertisement/campaigns, as well as their own community. Body shaming is
extremely important to the Millennial Generation. It ties along with the feminism overview within the generation. The article, How the Millennial
Generation Works, states, Every generation has its own attitudes, values and even quirks. Consider, for example, how different Baby Boomers (those
born between 1946 to 1964) are from their parents ' generation. No one disputes that the Boomers largely revolted against the morally conservative
upbringing of the previous generation. By doing this, Boomers created their own set of values that eventually dominated the culture, including
feminism, looser sexual mores and anti–war sentiment. Although the Boomers are one of the more stark examples of generational change, most
generations do this to some extent. And the most recent generation to get its own name, the Millennial Generation (born 1980 to about 2000), is no
different. (McGarth) With feminism being a part of the culture, body shaming takes on an important role within social issues. Social media plays the
biggest role in body shaming. Social media is seen as a showcase for accomplishments and highlight aspects that are happening in a person 's life.
When feedback is given, such as a 'like ' or written comment, the user is satisfied and takes pride from their posts. (Dungan)

Donald Trump-Super Supervisor Essay
Donald Trump–Super Supervisor
What makes a person a good business leader? A popular consensus seems to be that a good leader is able to not only understand each employee's
needs and abilities, but also motivate and empower that employee to use his abilities to the full. This requires that a leader take the time to understand
the employee and to develop him to his full potential.
In addition, a group of Fortune 500 executives stated that they "value...flexibility..., and communication skills" (Terry, 2001, p.1). These executives

Thesis On Might Is Right
Might is Right Might is Right is a concept followed and agreed with by many leaders from all over the world, from every part of history, and even
from novels and fairy tales. "The Sword in the Stone", by T.H. White, is about a young boy called Wart who grows up to be King Arthur and about
the changes in his childhood. Wart's mentor, Merlyn, knows that Wart will be king one day, and helps to prepare Wart for his role as an adult
through lessons. These lessons have to do with all sorts of things that will help Wart in his life, such as making good decisions and using wisdom.
Along with those, some of them are focused on Might is Right and what he would do with power. One might ask, what exactly is Might is Right?

Many people believe that the best type of ruler is a kind and good ruler. In the article "23 Traits of a Good Leader", both Nancy Clark, author of "18
Holes for Leadership", and Darcy Eikenberg, a leadership and workplace coach in the Red Cape Revolution commonly believe that true leaders
have humility, the ability to empower, be collaborative, a good communicator, and fearless. In the article, Clark states, "True leaders have
confidence but know when it becomes hubris". This proves that many people out there believe that these positive qualities are what make a good
leader. On the other hand, many also believe that a being a kind or good leader doesn't automatically make you an effective leader. Others believe
that the best type of ruler is what that has total control. In the article "15 Characteristics Effective Leader", Robert Tanner expresses, "They are clear
about what needs to be done, they challenge assumptions, they accept and use conflict as needed...". This quote represents being a harsh, no
nonsense leader, taking more control over the people, and not letting people question a leader's authority. These two quotes have very different takes
on what you need to be a leader, but are they really so different? A leader is someone who has command over people. An especially good ruler has both

The Pros And Cons Of President Donald Trump
How the biopsychosocial method can be used to influence people and is there a viable comparison to President Donald Trump, and so consequently,
could Donald Trump be 'mentally–unfit' for the office of the presidency by virtue of lack of mental health, making him a possible danger to himself
and us? Okay, let's begin with an obvious reason why Donald Trump appealed to our brains...
"Big companies spend millions on advertising because they know it takes a minimum of seven encounters with a brand before a buying decision
can be reached. The more we are exposed to a brand, the more we like it. As brands are exposed to us more and more, the physiology of our brains
is altered in such a way that makes it easier for us accept and even prefer those brands next time we encounter them. This is why that song we hated
at first grows on us after it receives constant radio play. Trump is a brand and 'The Donald' is its celebrity spokesperson. After invading reality TV
with "The Apprentice," he proceeded to take over the news media. Love him or hate him, everyone was talking about him at every stage of the
campaign process. He dominated the headlines for months. Hillary, although a celebrity in her own right, still couldn't compete with the Donald Trump
attention–magnet media phenomenon. Donald Trump as well reiterated in major swing states, "If he doesn't win Florida, he can't win the Presidency."
And, "No Republican candidate has ever gotten to the White House without winning Ohio."

complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States." Because he is afraid of more attacks occurring in the United States, Trump stands up for
these beliefs even though many people believe they are words of prejudice. Trump is not the only person who acts with prejudice when scared.

Compare And Contrast Donald Trump And Bernie Sanders

  • 1. Compare And Contrast Donald Trump And Bernie Sanders Drustin Cole March 4, 2016 ENGL–1010 Miller Bernie Sanders versus Donald Trump Election year is upon the American public once again. Time for televised debates between politicians clamoring for their party's spot on the presidential race. Time for billboards and commercials attempting to garner public support and sympathy, and time for issues facing the American public to be brought to the forefront of the American consciousness. Amongst the many varied politicians attempting to run for president, two have been interesting enough to try and compare and contrast between them: Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. Donald Trump is the current front–runner of the Republican Party, whilst Sanders ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So then, what of the Democrat nominee he is being compared against? Bernie Sanders is currently second behind Hillary Clinton in the polls yet he already has his own passionate following, with his own agendas and positions on foreign policy, social issues, and the economy. Bernie's campaign so far has been primarily regarding the economy, and his campaign neatly ties in the economy of the country with its foreign policy and social issues. The most prominent of these issues that Sanders rails against is obviously the inequality between the various classes in America, between the rich and the poor. Sanders still addresses racial violence and LGBT rights on his main website, as is obvious given the stance of theDemocratic party as a whole on these issues, but class inequality is still the primary issue of his campaign, at least until recently (BernieSanders). In a debate held in the Democratic town hall of South Carolina, as reported by Daniel Marans of the Huffington Post, Sanders began to emphasize racial issues in his campaign in an attempt to appeal to the minority vote similar to Clinton (The Huffington Post). Previously, it can be assumed that any talk of racial or minority issues would have eventually rounded back to economic inequality, as the two are often intertwined in practice. This emphasis on the economy is the singular defining aspect of Sanders's political campaign and everything else always ends up tying back into this. Sanders's foreign policy has been considered to be quite sound, by sources such as U.S News, as it ties in the local and political spheres with the economic ones (Ian Hurd). Sanders weighs the cost of each action, and how it will affect individuals on the local economic level. Military intervention may serve American interests in the short–run, but what about the long–term destabilization of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Clinton V. Trump 's Presidential Election Clinton V. Trump This year's presidential election has been riddled with controversy and drama. The two presidential nominees, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump, each have questionable acts. As voting time approaches and the debates come to an end many individuals must decide who is fit to run the country. By considering their backgrounds, verifying the validity of their policies, and brining into consideration their performance in the debates, a suitable president should be found. Born in Chicago, Hillary Clinton grew up in a middle–class family living in the suburbs of Illinois. Clinton first attended Wellesley College, then continued her education at Yale. In 1972 Hillary Clinton was one of 27 women in her graduating class, with a degree in Law she moved to Arkansas. While in Arkansas she became a member of the Arkansas University faculty, teaching law. After becoming first lady in 1992, Clinton spent her time fighting for children and women's rights, working with CHIP to provide affordable healthcare. In 2000 Clinton served as the first female senator of New York. (Everything You need to Know About Hillary Clinton). In 2008 Clinton decided to run for presidency but later suspended her campaign after the majority went to Barrack Obama. When Obama was elected, he nominated her for the position of Secretary of State which she took in 2009 (Hillary Clinton Biography). • 4. American President Pros And Cons I feel that it is extremely important to show the way the president has been behaving or acting because it is concerning how he likes to talk about banning Muslims from the seven countries like Syria, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iraq. There was also a time where a judge called Gonzalo Curiel, was presiding over a case against Trump University, he went to say that "He's a Mexican, Trump told CNN. "We're building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings, rulings that people can't even believe." "Claiming that a person can't do their job because of their race is sort of like the textbook definition of a racist comment," House Speaker Ryan said, though he clearly endorsed Trump. When asked by CNN's Jake Tapper if he would condemn Duke and say he didn't want a vote from him or any other white supremacists, Trump claimed that he didn't know anything... • 5. Analysis Of ' Demagoguery And Fallacies ' Essay Esteban Rodriguez Professor Brent Program English 116 October 8, 2016 "Demagoguery and Fallacies" In all speeches, we used different types of demagoguery to make our statements more appealing to our audience. Patricia Roberts–Miller studied the principles of demagoguery and how they appeal to the public to make appropriate decisions. Patricia Roberts also state "that the most that information, the less likely the public will make appropriate decisions", with this information we can conclude how they can be used to appeal to the people. in different topics we use different demagoguery or fallacies to divide people into two different groups; the ingroup and outgroup. The ingroup is viewed as the good and correct group while the outgroup is viewed as wrong and bad. Demagoguery occurs mostly in times of political and economic crisis. In the speech of George Wallaceon the topic of segregation and Donald Trump 's speech on the topic of immigration are perfect examples of the use of demagoguery. I will analyse the use of demagoguery and fallacies; such as grandstanding, demonising, nationalism, and hasty generalization, throughout their speeches to see how they appeal to the audience, I believe that the strategies use will show how the argument is inaccurate or how it relies on fear . In George Wallace in his speech as the "Governor of Alabama" was written by Asa Carter, a Ku Klux Klan leader during the height of the civil right movement. Wallace speech uses demagoguery such as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It's a very nice welcome, and we are excited to be with you at this historic convention. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) I'm so proud of your choice for president of the United States, my husband, Donald J. Trump! (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) And I can assure you he's moved by this great honor. The 2016 Republican primaries were fierce and started with many candidates, 17 to be exact. And I know that Donald agrees with me when I mention how talented all of them are. They deserve the respect and gratitude from all of us. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) The primary season and its toughness is behind us. Let's all come together in a national campaign like no other. (CHEERS, APPLAUSE) The race will be hard–fought all the way to November. There will be good times and hard times and unexpected turns. It would not be a Trump contest without excitement and drama. (APPLAUSE) But trust throughout it all my husband will remain focused on only one thing: this beautiful country that he loves so much. (APPLAUSE) If I'm honored to serve as first lady, I will use that wonderful privilege to try to help people in our country who need it the most. • 7. Paul Ryan's Influence On American Politics The current presidential election has wrought a quagmire of unthinkable actions by politicians in plain sight of the American public's eye. With specific regard to the GOP, the former playbook of politics, consistent with unwavering party loyalty, has certainly been pushed out of print; especially by current speaker of the house, Paul Ryan. This essay will detail the estranged relationship between Paul Ryan and his party base, as rendered by New York Times correspondent Robert Draper, scrutinize the article's inherent biases, and ultimately contextualize the situation in terms of Kelly's leadership patterns. This political cycle surely has made a spectacle of American politics. Donald Trump, the boisterous personality and current GOP presidential ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... First, in pairing Paul Ryan with Donald Trump, the current House Speaker could easily be described as, "capable of contributing to the leadership process, but [also] disgruntled and cynical" (McManus and Perruci 46), refusing to do so; an alienated follower. It is not in Ryan's interest to unwholly commit party loyalty, especially with 2016 being such a divisive election year, nonetheless his failure to fall on his sword for Trump displays a form of cynicism and alienation from the GOP nominee. Within this instance of leadership, Ryan easily is characterized as an alienated follower. Next, in the context of seeing Paul Ryan under the leadership of entity that is the GOP, Ryan is certainly a survivor. The survivor is a very dynamic role on Kelly's followership model, in that the survivor's, "goal is not so much to achieve the common goal of the group, as it is to achieve their personal goal of surviving in the organization" (McManus and Perruci 47). Ryan voiced to House Republicans that he was done defending Donald Trump, but he never rescinded his support for the nominee. • 8. The Rights Of Freedom Of Speech The Founders made the press a First Amendment priority in the United States Constitution as a "protected role" to act as a check on elected officials. The press was part of the Constitutional "checks and balances" in holding elected officials accountable and to be observant for exploitation, as the press were in essence "the eyes and ears of the people." Freedom of the press is the irrefutable privilege to propagate opinions in print without censorship by the government. The article was week was interesting, because of the way reacted to the protests. There were hundreds of thousand of people protesting for Women's March all over the country. What I learned from the article is how hundreds of thousands of people protested against Donald Trump. It surprises me that Trump barely reacted to the protesters right outside the White House. Besides, the first amendment law states congress shall make no law abridging freedom of speech. I think it is really amazing so many came to protest outside the White House. • 10. Analysis Of Donald J. Trump Donald J. Trump By Rong Rong Political Science 001 CRN #72154 Professor Uranga November 17, 2016 Introduction I chose to write about candidate Donald J. Trump because his idea of improving economics, creating more job opportunities and diminishing the gap between classes is favored by a large number of people in middle class and lower class, who are important forces during the election. Not believing in the American Dream claimed by Obama any longer, these people want to see something solid and practical which can actually improve their lives. Trump may be a good choice for they. Message With everything that Donald J. Trump has gone through in his past his main theme is that he was a very successful business man on real property and other business interests worldwide, along with his famous Trump Tower, casinos and hotels. To gain greater popularity, Trump joined TV show, judged on beauty pageants and guest starred on TV dramas and movies. Overall, Little political experience did he had in the past. Image Trump's image that comes to mind to most people at first is that he is a jerk, an old madman who loves saying Reagan's "make America great again". It seems that he can get annoyed very easily and likes criticizing people. This characteristic is a two–edged sword that it can be charming to those who like him, but very undesirable to those who hate him. With zero experience on politics, Trump's presidential nomination is considered a joke. In order to gain greater attention ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

To this day he was apparently still contacting Russia because someone there said that they would go and tell him some secrets about Hillary Clinton's emails and secrets (Waldman, 2017). Truth may be stranger than fiction, but if there's any lesson here, it's that too many people prefer fiction to the truth. Conspiracy theories have gripped the public imagination to such an extent that an armchair crank stands at the White House lawn. Preening himself at the mirror of his nation's prejudices and delusions of grandeur, his policies of extreme nationalism, and protectionism, are founded upon conspiracy and misinformation. Mysteriously, the conspicuous failure of Asians to overrun us since her prediction 20 years ago, hasn't dampened Hanson's confidence, or fatally wounded her credibility. Quite the opposite, in fact. Why is this so? An answer may be found in the Dunning–Kruger effect: the curious phenomenon of "confident idiots" emboldened by their own ignorance, rather than cautioned by it. The 1999 Dunning–Kruger study found those armed with low metacognitive skills grossly overestimated their own competence in metacognitive tasks. PhD is a research degree and prime objective of the PhD research is to contribute to building scholarship of a field of study. As in most cases, PhD students should work with a mentor or a group of mentors building networks is necessary to facilitate such collaborative ventures in the academia. In order to build networks in my field, I approach my mentors and fellow researchers whether I can be a part of their research. Apart from that I always look for the opportunities to attend conferences and seminars to be introduced with scholars in the field of my interest. Conference and seminars are very useful means to build networks as many scholars share their contacts and research interests to each other. I pick those scholars from the conference brochures whose research interest matches with my own interests. I try to contact them after the conference and show my interest to collaborate with them in publishing. It is important to think about network density while managing networks and getting desired results of those. I have been able to keep full network density while building and managing networks with the scholars working in academia. • 19. U.s. Obama And Donald Trump 's Views On Immigration Essay Final Written Assignment Throughout this presidential election process, Americans have been forced to recognize several different issues in the economy. Out of the main issues that are being debated and will continue to be debated, immigration seemed to be the one of the most focus due to it's crucial impact on countries world wide. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's views on immigration were presented numerous times throughout the election and Americans formulated whom they would vote for partially based on these views. Within our nation, the issue of immigration has become one of the most talked about topics in politics because of the significant impact it has on the American people. In summation, Hillary Clinton believed in bringing families that were separated by the immigration process back together, and to create an easier and more efficient immigration process. In contrast, Donald Trump believed in building a wall across the borders of the United States and Mexico to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country while also trying to speed up the immigration process. Three major newspaper companies, (The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Washington Post) were found to be the most intriguing sites that discussed immigration and the views of the American people along with factual information that represents the affects of immigration in general. Two issues that Trump has hyper–focused on are immigration and job creation during his first 100 days in office. First, I will talk about immigration, which many would say was his main platform for his election. This was the issue he built his "wall" campaign on. There are over 11.3 million illegal immigrants living in the United States. Critics say that this "wall" that Trump wants to build is unaffordable and downright unrealistic. From the beginning of his initial bid for president he was backed by many to build this wall along the 2000 mile US–Mexico border. When Trump first became instated as the president, he pledged a contiguous, physical wall or other similarly secure, contiguous, and impassable physical barrier. Trump approached the Mexican president, Enrique PeГ±a Nieto that his country will have to pay for the wall to be built. This didn't go over to well creating some tension between trump and our neighbor to the south with in his first month of election. Enrique PeГ±a Nieto wanted nothing to do with paying for the wall since the price tag is so high. With this Ideal to build a wall, he also added as a side note to hire over 10,000 plus immigration officers to eliminate federal money to sanctuary cities. These cities refuse to deport undocumented immigrants. Also he vowed to catch and deport the millions of men, women and children who live in this country without documentation. As of his 100th day in office there has been a recorded decrease in illegal Southwest border crossings due to his increase in border security. Homeland Security as of March 8 release data showing that in there was alone 18,762 illegal immigrants caught. This is estimated as a 60% decline from november before Trump took over in office. It also has personalized watch faces, and that's not that big of a change. In my opinion, I would stick with the one you have and wait for the nicer, newer one to come out. In the article I read today, they were talking about the flu shot. "It's that season again and it's time to get vaccinated! But maybe wait until November." They mentioned how the Flu virus might show up later in the year, and so if you get it too early, the vaccination might wear off. That not too good for me, because I already got mine. I read on last night's debate with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. In the Articles that I read, most of them said Clinton won, and some Trump. I know that their all opinions, but the majority was towards Clinton, because she had a lot of, "burns," and was prepared. The main conflict in that debate was the insults. Christine Nguyen Principles of English Composition I Professor Sexton Word Count: 1750 – 2000 4 April 2017 Body Shaming Body shaming has become a rising topic within the social and political world. The main sources that body shaming is seen in are forms of social media, advertisement/campaigns, as well as their own community. Body shaming is extremely important to the Millennial Generation. It ties along with the feminism overview within the generation. The article, How the Millennial Generation Works, states, Every generation has its own attitudes, values and even quirks. Consider, for example, how different Baby Boomers (those born between 1946 to 1964) are from their parents ' generation. No one disputes that the Boomers largely revolted against the morally conservative upbringing of the previous generation. By doing this, Boomers created their own set of values that eventually dominated the culture, including feminism, looser sexual mores and anti–war sentiment. Although the Boomers are one of the more stark examples of generational change, most generations do this to some extent. And the most recent generation to get its own name, the Millennial Generation (born 1980 to about 2000), is no different. (McGarth) With feminism being a part of the culture, body shaming takes on an important role within social issues. Social media plays the biggest role in body shaming. Social media is seen as a showcase for accomplishments and highlight aspects that are happening in a person 's life. The Pros And Cons Of President Donald Trump How the biopsychosocial method can be used to influence people and is there a viable comparison to President Donald Trump, and so consequently, could Donald Trump be 'mentally–unfit' for the office of the presidency by virtue of lack of mental health, making him a possible danger to himself and us? Okay, let's begin with an obvious reason why Donald Trump appealed to our brains... "Big companies spend millions on advertising because they know it takes a minimum of seven encounters with a brand before a buying decision can be reached. The more we are exposed to a brand, the more we like it. As brands are exposed to us more and more, the physiology of our brains is altered in such a way that makes it easier for us accept and even prefer those brands next time we encounter them. This is why that song we hated at first grows on us after it receives constant radio play. Trump is a brand and 'The Donald' is its celebrity spokesperson. After invading reality TV with "The Apprentice," he proceeded to take over the news media. Love him or hate him, everyone was talking about him at every stage of the campaign process. He dominated the headlines for months. Hillary, although a celebrity in her own right, still couldn't compete with the Donald Trump attention–magnet media phenomenon.
