Description Camera Equipment:
We will be using camera equipment when filming on the bus, this will
include a camera and other potential camera cables - this may be a
hazard to passengers on the bus as they could trip on potential
cables.

Any potential passengers on the bus may be exposed to camera
equipment as they could trip and fall on cables. The cast and crew
will also be exposed to the camera equipment, and could potentially
face similar hazards.
Action to take We will inform the bus company that we are to be filming and thus
they will be aware of potential dangers - all passengers will be
informed that we are filming and to stay away with a sign stating
“filming in progress”.

Description As we are to be on a bus, there is potential flammable materials such
as the bus chairs, glass materials such as the bus windows and other
dangerous materials we must be aware of. It is important that we are
aware of the potential dangers that follow these materials such as
someone cutting themselves on broken glass, or any flammable
materials catching fire.

All passengers on the bus will be exposed to such materials, as will
the cast and crew of A Young Understanding - Therefore, it is
important that we stay aware of all potential dangers.
Action to take As we are on a bus, which is to have been safety checked, there will
be safety exits - we will make ourselves aware of these exits if any
material hazards occur. Also, all busses are equipped with a fire
extinguisher and other safety appliances which will be used in case of
an emergency.

Description As we are to be filming on a bus we will be filming in front of potential
bus passengers it is important that we are aware of potential hazards.
This may include filming being interrupted by passengers,
passengers facing potential dangers around our equipment, and
potentially passengers being filmed when they are unaware.

potential passengers on the bus, it is important that we are aware of
potential dangers that follow.
Action to take We will place a sign on the bus stating “filming in progress” to warn
off any unwanted passengers, we will also inform the bus company
so that they are able to inform passengers too. Warning passengers
away will also remove them from further dangers such as tripping on
camera cables.
