Story board

1. Music Video - Story Board:
1. Our music video will begin in an exam hall, this shot will begin with an
establishing shot of the pupils preparing to sit their exam.
2. The camera will then switch to a close up shot of the main character,
beginning to sit their exam looking unhappy
3. The pupils mobile phone will buzz in their bag, this will be shown in an
over the shouldershot of the pupil grabbing their phone and viewing a text
from their friend stating ‘ditch your exam and come out with us!’
4. After this, a mid shot of the pupil at their desk will shoot the pupil
dramatically throwing their exam papers into the air
5. A low angled close up shot of the pupil as they walk over their exam
papers and head out of the exam
6. This shot will be a mid shot of the class room dooras the pupil exits
7. The scene will then change to a variety of different scenes, beginning with
a close up shot of two youths on a housing estate sharing a cigarette
8. The shot will then change to an over the shoulder shot of a group of
youths walking through/hanging around a housing estate
9. We will then film a ‘party’ scene in which close up shots of alcohol, drugs
and their consumptionwill be shown
10.After this we intend on recording a series of shots of a mouth with a pill on
the tongue in several different lipstick shades
11.The video will then switch back to the exam scene, in a mid shot the youth
is given back their failed exam
12.The video will conclude with a series of shots of the youth trying to get
their life back on track, by revising and completing work.
