Greetings of peace!
The DLSP Library Commission and Philippine Association of School Librarians, Inc. is organizing a two-day
Seminar Workshop with the theme “Upskilling Librarians’ Research Competency for the Fourth
Industrial Revolution” and DLSP Library Commission General Assembly to be held on October 16-17,
2019 at the 5TH Floor Auditorium (Duerr Hall), De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, 2544 Taft Avenue, Manila.
The seminar-workshop aims to: 1) understand the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4Th IR) in
research; 2) enhance the competencies of librarians in doing scholarly research that are responsive for the
4th IR library users; 3) help improve services, resources and demonstrate library impact on student success
through evidence- based practice and research productivity; 4) produce research outputs that can be shared
in the next DLSP Libraries Research Conference.
The invitation is open to all librarians and library staff. The conference fee is Php 2,000.00 to cover
registration, meals (am snacks, lunch, and pm snacks), and certificate of participation.
