INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO) is a parastatal organization that was
established under the Act of Parliament No. 28 of 1973. The organization was established and
given mandate to plan, coordinate, promote and provide capacity development services to
SMEs particularly to small industries. It is the responsibility of the organization to facilitate
entrepreneurship development and offer extension services, promote technology development
and transfer, provide technical services, facilitate dissemination of business information and
marketing, provide work places and financial services:
SIDO Dar Es Salaam is currently looking for young, dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic and
talented Tanzanians to apply for two (2) internship vacancies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the on-going
digital communication initiatives through the following:
Data collection and analysis
Documenting success stories from various sections of SMEs
Photography and videography
Portal management (updating portal whenever necessary)
Managing social media platforms whenever required.
Assisting designated officers in managing events
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a citizen of Tanzanian
2. Should be between the age of 20-25 years
A university graduate preferably in Mass Communications/ Public
Relations/Business Information Systems/ Business Administration
Should possess relevant computer skills
Fluent in both Kiswahili and English
Interns are not paid salaries or allowances.
