A Critique of the Proposed National Education Policy Reform
Art workshop by mixed techniques
1. Art workshop “Painting by mixed techniques”
Since we are aware of the fact that each child is an individual we prepare a lot of
art activities to allow the child to show his feelings and emotions. For some
pupils such classes are a therapy, for others it is a way to develop their interests
and skills. But - the most important is that such activities should be fun for all of
them.owning to such workshop children:
Uses imagination to make art
• Knows the colours (first primary, next – complimentary)
• Name the colours
• Know art tools
• Know art techniques
• They show feelings working in group
A very good example of such workshop is “Painting by mixed techniques”.
Children worked with different techniques like: mixing colours and glue,
painting on the base of salt, painting by scobs (from trees) and blowing paint out
by a straw. Children are happy during such activities and they are very
interesting for them. Moreover, they also develop their imagination.
Another example of workshop is ”Orchand in the spring”. Children in groups
were making a model of orchands. Apart from art skills we also develop the ability to work in
groups and planning and organizing work.
