2. What is global
warming??
Global warming means the
period of rising average
temperatures in the
atmosphere and oceans that
occur for reasons of climate
and natural phenomena. It
'a term commonly used to
define the global warming
produced by human
activity, that is the human
contribution to global
warming.
3. What is causing global
warming?
Scientists agree that the burning
of fossil fuels like oil and coal
cause greenhouse gases to
escape into the air and that these
gases are causing most of the
warming. Another cause is
deforestation (cutting down
trees). Trees soak up carbon
dioxide, one of the greenhouse
gases, from the air.
4. Where are the effects of global
warming??
The effects of global warming are both
consequential and widespread and will
continue to be catastrophic.
5. Solutions!!!
In order to combat the global warming, in 1997 the United
Nations signed the Kyoto Protocol, agreeing to reduce their
emission of polluting gases, But what can we do? First, we can
adopt a lifestyle thet is less polluting, and we can choose sources
of clean and renewable energy, talking care to avoid waste.
