3. • I have looked at some already existing magazine cover examples. I got some ideas
that inspired me for my own product. I have chosen that my genre is going to be
fashion, however I'm going to take some pictures indoors most likely in a studio
and the second location is going to be outside, something like forest. The purpose
of the images I'm going to produce is going to be market a product. The product
that I'm going to market is a magazine, photographs going to tell audience a story
about what genre is the magazine. The use of my photographs is tell audience a
story without opening a magazine, to make audience understand what magazine
is about without even reading titles or headings. The media product that I'm
going to use to publish my photographs is going to be magazine. The target
audience for my photographs are going to be from 18 to 40. I have chosen this
age because my photographs are going to be elegant with high class clothing.
Brief, purpose, use, media product and target audience
4. • I have found some existing magazine cover that is nearly same as I want to
produce. I have looked at photographs and how are they used also looked at the
angles, costumes and make ups to inspire me and give me clear idea about how
professional magazine cover should look. The most of the examples I have
looked are taken in a studio, most of them are close ups, some of them are
medium shots. The pictures that are taken in the studio used evening make up
also clothing that they uses is more unique, most of the studio shots are in black
and white. I have also looked at some magazine covers that are taken outside.
The outside photographs are most likely medium shots or long shots. The
locations that they shoot is forest and beaches. They use simple natural make
up and comfortable clothing. The ideas that inspired me was to shoot in black
and white in a studio and to shoot in forest. It also informed me that I need to
use natural make up while shooting outside.
Consider current practice and existing media products
5. • The first idea of my magazine cover is going to be black and white photograph
that is taken in a studio. The make up I'm going to use on a model is going to be
evening make up a little darker to make it stand out. The costumes that I'm
going to use are going o be smart wear to make my model look more elegant.
The aim for my magazine cover is to produce professional photographs so I'm
going to use chair as my prop. To get best results I'm going to take different
pose pictures to have something to choose from.
• The second idea for my magazine cover is going to picture taken outside in a
forest. to get best results I need to look for locations online and do research.
The make up for my model is going to be more natural, the clothing are going to
be comfortable clothing. I'm not going to use any props, to make photographs
more realistic and natural.

7. photographer’s call and
planning sheet
• The subject of my photographs are going to be fashion. I'm going to produce
pictures outside and indoors , that pint of focus are going to be clothing and
model. I'm going to photograph in Epping forest also studio. The Epping forest
photoshoot I'm going to shoot on 15/05/2017, however the studio photoshoot
is going to be around 19/05/2017. There is going be no people helping me,
except of models. The studio I want to use on 18/05/2017 however is
everything is booked, I would like to shoot on 23/05/2017. I also need to book
camera for my studio photoshoot, however for my forest pictures I'm going to
use my own camera. I also checked when my models are available.
9. Risk Assessment
• I have done photo shoots, outside also inside. The location for my first
photoshoot which was outside in a park. The weather conditions wasn't that
pleasant, it was raining and windy, however I managed to wear appropriate
clothing and have equipment to cover my camera from the rain. However, it
was hard for a model to feel comfortable because it was slippery, so we had to
change location. We change our location to the River Lea which was more
comfortable. We have also struggled because there were a lot of people with
bikes that interrupted us. However we didn't need any permission to take
pictures because it was public location.
• The photoshoot that I have done inside was much easier. The weather was
beautiful, sunny and hot, however we shoot inside so it was hard, because it
was really hot, so to feel better we had to drink a lot of water. however,
because it was really sunny it was a struggle for me to capture good lighting. we
have done photoshoot in a house and it was a lot of space for us so it didn't
struggles us that much. however we didn't need any permission because we
were shooting in my house.

and the end-users of products and services, ensuring that certified products conform to the minimum
standards set internationally.
12. Interior Assessments
• I have done photoshoot inside, which was at my house. However I didn’t use
any of power sources or light sources. If I had be using studio, which I'm going
to do in a future. I have to make sure that I don’t have food or drink on me, also
I need to be careful with lamps if I'm using them for a long time, if they get hot,
I need to make sure that me or any of the models don’t touch them. I also need
to be careful with power sources, I need to make sure that I plug my devices
correctly. I also need to be careful with cables and get them out of my way. Of I
use any cameras I need to make sure I use them correctly also if I use lights I
need to make sure I put sand bags to make them more stable.
