The Pros And Cons Of Plastic Bags
Since 1985, America has been using plastic bags due to them being waterproof and having handles
making them easier to carry goods. Paper and plastic has always been a huge controversy in super
markets through the preference of customers. Some customers prefer having the paper bags standing
up straight in the trunks of their cars. Other customers prefer the plastic bags because of the handles
making it easier to walk home and carry their goods. Although both preferences are fine, all
customers know the dangers of the plastic bag. Banning plastic bags from stores and replacing them
with only paper or reusable bags, will reduce corruption of organic products, reduce CO2 emissions
from creation and destruction of the plastic and prevent harm upon Earth and its creatures. Plastic
bags were first designed in 1965 by a Swedish company which later became known as the "T–shirt
plastic bag"; made from high density polyethylene, but It was in the late 1970s when Plastic bags
first began to terrorize the well being of humanity. More and more supermarkets in America began
handing out plastic bags as if they were candy on Halloween. The more plastic bags humans use, the
more natural resources are being destroyed. There are two different types of plastic bags that one
may find in any supermarket, high density polyethylene (HDPE) or low density polyethylene
(LDPE). There isn't much difference between them besides the fact that LDPE would be the tougher
and more durable bags you might find in department stores as well as any regular supermarket. They
both require the same materials for creation such as oil, gas and coal (fossil fuels). Fossil fuels are
the prehistoric resources formed by plants and animals that lived hundreds of millions of years ago.
These fuels won't be replaced for another millions of years to come, that is why they're called "non–
renewable" resources. Plastic is very valuable, but humans decide that is more than okay to litter
these valuable resources than to recycle it and prevent some of the corruption and over–usage of
resources we may not have in a distant future. Although plastic bags, as well as paper bags, can be
recycled in order to postpone running out of resources, the creation and

Throw Your Money Away In This $ 395 Paper Bag Analysis
Throw Your Money Away in This $395 Paper Bag
Sometimes, it's fun to spend money on things we don't need. However, there are some things we
don't need that we really don't need. Take, for example, a leather bag made to resemble a paltry
brown paper bag, and it costs $395. This gives an entirely new meaning to the phrase "sack lunch."
Check out some stats about the bag below.
Here, we present just a normal paper bag.
One typical brown paper bag will set you back 15 cents. It looks pretty useful, like a paper bag
should.
Here's a tip: you can buy brown paper bags in bulk!
Look at all those bags! About one billion brown paper bags (500, more likely) will cost you less
than eight dollars. Not that we're urging you to spend money on brown paper

The Icy Journey Research Paper
The Icy Journey In the bitter cold of Canada's winter, my father and I traveled through the woods on
a task. This Christmas our task was to put a little change in the world, so we made supply bags to
give to the needy. These bags comprised of blankets, canned food, water, and an inflatable pillow.
My father woke me up before dawn to start the trip to the town. This trip took ½ a day on a cart
behind a horse, but since the snow fell early it would take us twice as much time. We followed the
elongated dirt road deep into the night. Here we came upon our first trial. It was our horse. He
started to huff and puff, but he couldn't be tired because we just took a break 2 minutes ago. We
stopped to see if he was hungry or thirsty. Before we could

Slim Wallets Research Paper
Why Slim Wallets are Great Clutch Replacements for Women During the day, the average woman
can easily get away with carrying a purse that is big enough to carry virtually anything needed. This
includes a thick clutch or wallet filled with cash, I.D. cards, and credit or debit cards. Then there are
things like hairbrushes, makeup, tissues, keys, and everything but the kitchen sink. When going out
for a night on the town, no one wants to carry this kind of load around. Slim wallets make a much
better option and here is why. Slim Wallets Let You Ditch the Load When you spend your day
carrying a purse that weighs nearly as much as a small suitcase, the last thing you want to deal with
is carrying this load around at night. Face it, when you are going out for a meal or dancing, you need
something much smaller to carry around with you. Clutches are handy, but may not be the best
wallets for that night out. Even if you try to get away with pulling your clutch out of your purse, you
are likely to still be stuck with more of a load than you need. ... Show more content on

Slim wallets such as those in our catalog give you the opportunity to do just that. Depending on the
one you choose, you should have room for your I.D., up to 4 credit or debit cards, and a little cash.

Research Paper On Plastic Pollution
Joshua Oldenkamp
Dr.Arturo Vega
October 30,2017
Policy Analysis Paper:
Introduction:
While taking one of my SMC courses at St.Mary's University, my professor began a discussion on
plastics pollution and the effects it has on the environment. My professor began to talk more and
more about this uncharted territory known as plastic pollution I never knew plastic was so harmful
and what it is doing to our environment. What I knew then does not compare to what I know now.
Everything that I have included in this research paper stems from what I have learned and the
policies we have in the United States, the state of Texas, and the city of San Antonio.
Issue Definition:
Here I identified the who what when and how and the main issue ... Show more content on

The Solution: would be to either provide incentivized programs and or tax on plastic, or leave
everything the way it is.
I will attempt to analyze our current use of programs to prevent further plastic pollution the San
Antonio area, and whether or not we stay with the status quo, implement buyback programs or tax
people who want plastic bags.
The defining issue at hand is the increasing plastic presence, the pollution it brings along with, the
disposal we provide, or do not provide. Plastic is going to be one of the leading issues in the next
few years, right next to climate change.
Background: Plastic is made up of carbon, this is a man–made product which is specifically from
oil. There were other creations before the discovery of plastic, in 1923 it was the Macintosh and
rubber, then in 1839 the company Goodyear combined rubber and sulfur creating moldable stable
substance, this process is known as vulcanization. In the 1850's though 1870's there was the ivory
trade and billiard balls, and in 1909 the create of modern plastics, Bakelite. Then in 1930 we created
the thermoplastic.
There are 7 different type of plastics, polyethylene, polystyrene, polyethylene terephthalate,
polyvinyl chloride, polytetrafluorethylene, polyvinylidene, and polypropylene. Polyethylene, is the
more commonly found plastic, this is our plastic bags, soda and water bottles, plastic films and their
cases, and garbage bags. Polystyrene, in

The Influence Of Images On Pull People
Images have this is tendency to pull people. Pulling them away from boredom and saving you from
that lost awkward silence. Although, have you ever wondered what type of images you're looking
at? What their standing point is on the subject? I have an image that involves politics and I'm going
to explain its standing point and what persuasive strategy they used. The image is majority back and
white. There is a very tall podium with a ladder leaning against it with a political man on the top end
of the ladder. The man is holding a blow horn, and speaking into it. While at the end the blow horn,
there is money coming out of at the end of the blow horn. While there is another political
representative in line with a bag of money, waiting to speak. Then at the bottom of the image is a
man who is not the size of the representative but smaller. The man at the bottom of the podium is
holding a news paper that has a title of "SCOTUS". In addition the man has a thought bubble with
the words " If speech is free, why can't I afford it?". Last but not least, off to the upper right of the
image is the White House and mounds of money in front of it. Looking at this image I can point out
many arguments and biased points. Starting with the size of the representatives is what I noticed the
most. The height of them compared to the single guy walking with the news paper. The
representatives are twice the size of the guy at the bottom of the podium. In addition, the bags of
money that they

Essay on The Investigation of William McGuire's Murder
On April 28, 2004, after closing on his dream house, William McGuire was brutally murdered. His
body was severed into three pieces, placed into three matching Kenneth Cole suitcases and then
dumped in the Chesapeake Bay. The investigation of his murder would span three years, involve two
different investigative teams and end in the conviction of his wife, Melanie McGuire, based on
circumstantial evidence (Glatt, 2008). The discovery of this crime began as a fishing trip for Chris
Henkle, Dee Connors and his two children Sam and Claire on May 5, 2004. While relocating the
boat to find better fishing, Connor spotted a suitcase floating in the water. As young Sam opened the
suitcase hoping it contained pirate's treasure, he found its ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

A second Kenneth Cole suitcase was found on May 11 by a girl picking up litter on the Fisherman
Island Bird sanctuary. Upon opening the suitcase, the girl saw a human shoulder and was
overwhelmed by the smell of rotting flesh. Once again, Virginia Beach Homicide Detectives Dr.
Gray and Beth Dunton arrived on scene. The suitcase was photographed then the body parts taken
for an autopsy. Inside this suitcase Dr. Wendy Gunther found the head, torso and arms of a white
male inside black plastic trash bags just like the first suitcase. The man had been shot three times:
once in the head, once in the back and once in the abdomen. These gunshot wounds were designated
as the cause of death. Gunther also documented that the victim's head was covered by a bloodstained
blanket that read "property of HCSC." While performing the autopsy, Dr. Gunther found a bullet in
the waist area that he saved to be tested for ballistics at a later date (Glatt, 2008). Due to the missing
section of the body, everyone knew there must be a third suitcase waiting to be discovered. The third
Kenneth Cole suitcase was found floating off the Bridge–Tunnel's second island on May 16 by Carl
and Linda Stevens. The same procedures that were used to document and examine the other two
suitcases were repeated. Dunton again tested the trash bags for fingerprints, but none were found.
This suitcase contained the midsection of a white

Proposition 65 Business Analysis
More than 150 California towns and counties have bag ban ordinances, a number that has grown in
2016. Proposition 65 should be passed because the profit made from the paper bag fee will go
towards environmental projects, environmental projects are important because it affects everyone
and has to be solved at one point and why wait until it gets serious to the point that our taxes might
increase. It is specifically on how it wants the paper bag fee to be spent on environmental projects
instead of it being pocket money for the retail/grocery store. If voters vote no on the proposition,
then they are agreeing to give grocery and retail stores $300 million in profits. The following is a

can lead up to not passing the proposition. The author has the point some people can get confused,

The Pros And Cons Of Plastic Bags
Mangu–Ward discusses the rise and fall of plastic bags in her article, Plastic bags are good for you:
what prohibitionists get wrong about one of modernity's greatest inventions. In the 1960s, the
invention of the plastic bag began to spread to supermarkets around the world. Plastics bags were
cheaper and lighter than paper bags. At the same time, they were also durable and very useful. The
plastic bags were a very important invention that helped change the way people shop. It wasn't long,
however, that people began to realize the environmental impact of plastic bags. The plastic bag was
soon replaced by the reusable bag and many cities began taxing or even banning plastic bags. Fears
over the environment resulted in the downfall of the plastic bag. Mangu–Ward's article is an
example of People making emotional discussions instead of logical discussions. At the time plastic
bags were introduced, they offered many advantages over the other options shoppers had at the
grocery store. Plastic bags are very affordable. Because plastic bags are affordable, more stores
began to stock them as a cheaper alternative to paper bags. The more stores that stocked plastic
bags, the more people started to use plastic bags. When shoppers choose plastic bags over paper
bags, the stores save money because they are spending less on bags. Plastic bags were also more
appealing to the shopper than paper bags. Plastic bags are thin and flexible, which means they can
be stored very easily. Plastic bags are lighter than paper bags, waterproof, unlike paper bags, and
strong enough to carry most groceries. Another advantage is that shoppers could carry many plastic
bags at once, unlike paper bags. Shoppers can reuse their plastic bags for things besides groceries, as
well. For example, shoppers can use plastic bags as trash bags, or bags to put wet swimsuits or dirty
laundry in. Because plastic bags are affordable, physically better than paper bags, and could be
reused; many shoppers and stores began using plastic over paper. Though plastic bags had many
advantages, there were some problems. When plastic bags first started spreading to supermarkets,
they became controversial after children started suffocating on them. Plastic bags

Medicine Ball Exercise Aid Essay
Exercise Aid: Medicine Ball A medicine ball is a weighted ball about the size of a basketball; they
weigh anywhere from 2 – 30 pounds. They are are made with an easy to grip material and can be
used to add weight to any given exercise. A medicine ball can help improve muscular strength or
endurance, as well as core strength. For this product, you do not need a particular brand, you can
buy them almost anywhere (Scheels, Dick's Sporting Goods, Walmart, etc.). The medicine balls start
out at about $20 per ball (the price increases as the weight of the ball increases). Price also varies
depending on the brand. Medicine balls are very versatile and can be used for a large number of

You can use them as you would a set of hand weights. Holding the medicine ball about an inch from
the chest, extend the arms to the ceiling, reaching the ball overhead, and slowly lower the ball back
to the start position, then repeat. This is one of many example. As I mentioned these are just a few
examples, medicine balls can be used for a wide variety of different exercises. Depending on the
type of exercise you do will determine which muscles group it is benefiting. A few general benefits
include: helps with developing core muscles (can can concentrate on many core muscles at one
time), a medicine ball can be added to your daily regime, can help you build up resistance, and

would be lifting more than you should or increasing the amount of weight too quickly. When using a
medicine ball, start out with a lighter weight (2, 4, or 6 lbs.) and increase slowly. Also, you have to

Pulling into the drive–in of Sonic, the vibrant colors of the screen light up the black interior of my

coins she is counting out trying to decide what she had enough money for. Although the lights in my

Then, I bite into a stick with crunchy breading and the creamy, steamy cheese on the inside of the

best thing I have ever tasted. I was much happier now. I crave more of this life changing food. I pull

3 berries should actually be graded No. 2B The installation of a berry grader would positively
impact the cooperative's income, while negatively impacting the farmers' income. With the current
system, 450,000 bbls. of berries are paid a premium of 50 cents per bbl, yet when the berries are
used only about half of them are actually considered No. 3's (berries with the best color). So
basically, the cooperative is paying a premium on 225,000 bbls. more than it should be, and that
worked out to about $112,500 in 1970. It would cost the cooperative $10,000 to install a berry

greatly. The farmers' would probably prefer that the cooperative continue to grade the color using

The Cafe Window
In the early evening back at home Consuelo was still pacing in front of the café window. Concerned
for the safety of her only son, who had departed this morning wearing his sleepwear and robe. Her
jaw fell open when on the sidewalk before her appeared Stella and Sol, with much audacity.
Carrying up the path garment bags from a high end department store. Behind them was Dr. Edwards
who had just pulled in after his long shift at work. He walked towards Stella who was standing in
front of the door. He greeted her with a big, juicy, wet, kiss, then they all just walked right in.
Consuelo, who was still owning her tantrum, was offended by their smiles and casual stances. Not
wanting to believe what she was seeing when she questioned, "Are those really garment bags you

you are going to look your finest for the biggest mistake your daughter is going to make in her life?

against white. There was a black man accused of rape, when really he was innocent. The facts were
there, but in the end the people went with the white over black. Scout, the main character, learned
multiple life lessons throughout the book. Three main life lessons Scout learned are that life isn't
fair, to use her head, and not to judge people. Initially, Scout learned that life isn't fair. When Tom
Robinson was being persecuted the jury results came back, "Guilty . . . guilty . . . guilty . . . guilty . .
." (pg 282). Tom Robinson was innocent, but he was considered guilty of the crime. The only reason
he was considered guilty was because he was an African American putting his word against a white
person's word. It was not fair, and Scout saw it as that way. She couldn't understand why Tom was
guilty. Scout learned from this experience that life is not fair. Even if the truth is right in front of
someone, they still will go with the white person's word. No matter the situation, whites would
always be above blacks. Just with Tom being declared guilty, Scout learned that life isn't fair. Scout
also learned that life isn't fair when Uncle Jack hit her and she found herself, ". . . suddenly looking
at a tiny ant struggling with a bread crumb in the grass" (pg 112). Scout and Francis had gotten into
a fight, which was as much Francis's fault as Scout's. Although Scout was the only that got into any
trouble. This caused Scout to learn that life isn't fair. Even though it was also Francis's fault she was
the only one that was reprimanded. As a result, throughout the novel, Scout learned that life is not
fair. In the novel, Scout learned that it's better if she would fight with her head and not her fists. The
first time Scout realized this was when she thought, "I was far too old and too big for such childish

Clean Water Act Argument Essay
Furthermore, the Shore Protection Act is applicable to the transportation of municipal and
commercial waste in coastal waters aiming to minimize debris from being deposited into coastal
waters from inadequate waste handling procedures by waste transporting vessels (Laws That
Protect). The Center for Biodiversity had petitioned the EPA to begin regulating plastics as a
pollutant under The Clean Water Act– a crucial first step in reducing the amount of plastic. The
Clean Water Act is the nation's strongest law protecting water quality. Recognition of plastic
pollution under the clean water act enables states to develop water–quality standards to finally begin
curbing the amount of plastic dumped in the oceans.

Serving as the number one source of our plastic use, companies opt for plastic containers because
it's easy, feasible, and convenient. Food packaging alone makes up for 30–40% of landfills with
much of that plastic being carried into the oceans. Going off of this, a new concept that's quickly
becoming popular are package free grocery stores. These cost– effective grocery stores have
everything you could possible need in bulk form and consumers bring glass or reusable containers,
or cloth bags and fill them with the food they need. First popping up in cities like Berlin, Vienna,
and Barcelona, many are finding this a more sustainable and eco–friendly option resulting in these
sort of grocery stores quickly spreading across the ocean, with the first one in the United States
expected to open in Brooklyn, New York. Business operators are extremely optimistic that this could
serve a very impactful solution to getting rid of unnecessary plastic. (Che Jenny).
In conclusion, it should have been learned that the issue of plastic pollution has become ruinous.
The cost of repair and the inconvenience of lifestyle changes cannot compare to the frightful future
this planet is headed. At current rates, hazards are not just inflicted on Earth's oceans but individual
human health and the other creatures that rightly inhabit this land. With this concern

The Battle Of The Dark Side Of Bronze
One day, the young lady Darker Than Bronze encountered a dilemma. Thinking she would never get
pass this, slumped down diagonally from the expecting mother on the fire wood benches in front of
the train station.
She thought in her clouded mind "No one will ever understand".... "How can so many explain what's
never understood".... "Or judge the peripheral view when the inside has never been revealed to the
surface".
To walk a mile in someone's shoes is something no one gave desire for. So, Darker Than Bronze
stood from the bench and began to walk towards home. Each step and kick of rock had become a
step closer to a breaking point.

With that the man began to walk away upright and enlightened. Each step he threw off the tattered
clothing revealing a business man, each step he wiped the muck from his teeth revealing pearly
whites, and each step he smeared the dirt from his rich skin.
Never looking back he smiled victoriously he had gotten his wish, the gift to find hope in the world.
Walking about Darker Than Bronze's curiosity had gotten the best of her. She decided to unpeel the
crumbled brown paper bag sides, away from each other.
At amazement her eyes grew to the size of gumballs stuck in a candy machine. This was her first
time ever in life to see such a great quantity of money in her hands. There were one's, fives, ten's,
twenties, and even a few one hundreds.
She wondered "How did he know? ...... How did he know?"
In her mind she repeated this question over and over looking for a justified reason.
No one ever knew the struggle of Darker Than Bronze back at home. Her family was wavering
between going under and rising just enough to the surface.
Darker Than Bronze never had the newest clothes or the latest gadgets.
So for someone random to bless her in such an abundance way was astonishing to her.

Branding and Marketing Strategy for a Proposed Business...
As the product manager for Spirou Biodegradable Garbage Bags, my team and I will start
formulating the branding strategy by first performing a brand assessment. This will involve a lot of
research on current and prospective consumers, transaction trends related to the trash bag market
and service quality. We need to determine the business environment including competition, suppliers
and economic forecasts. The assessment is needed to determine what the value our product has for
our customers, our competition, and the consumer perception of the competition and our company.
We can see the value of our bags in comparison to the current drawstring plastic bags on the market.
The technologically advanced bags we offer are our key selling point, our value, our distinction.
Second I will need to determine our brand promise. The brand promise should achievable and one
that connects our strategy, our people, our positioning, and our customers. We have determined our
differentiating factor; the bags disintegrate into dust together with the garbage inside them. Using
this factor, we can develop the 'promise' we will deliver to our intended consumers: no more full
bags ripping or hauling bags to the trash barrels, an easy way to make the environment cleaner, no
more overflowing landfills. And the company MUST deliver on the brand promise.
Third we develop the brand blueprint. The brand blueprint will aid us in communicating our promise
and creates our 'communication building

The next day I start early at the beach where many people leave their bags to go swimming at the

area I was in was very crammed with people. It was this festival that many people attended, making
it a perfect time to pickpocket and steal other people's bags. I spot a very expensive bag under a
chair and I see Bobby and silently wave at him to get his attention. He sees me and starts to walk
towards me. I signal him to one of the ways we steal bags and we start to dig a hole big enough for
the bag and quickly we grab it and shove it into the hole. Bobby grabs the sand a covers the bag for

Speech On Environment
The environment. It provides us with so much but we don't care. It provides us with oxygen,
medicine, leisure and protection but we don't care. We destroy as much of the environment as we
feel like and nobody cares. Nobody wants it to be their problem. Politicians ignore the problem and
the public believe that it's the politicians' problem when really it is down to both the public and
politicians to change. As grade twelves we believe that the problem isn't ours, that it is for someone
else to fix but there is so much that we can change about our everyday lifestyle that can help
improve and care for the environment around us.
When it comes to waste, Australia is one of the worst in the world. In Australia the average person
generates 4.1kg per day, that amount of waste equates to 1.5 tonnes of waste per year, this is the
average weight of a car. 40% of the waste in the average household bin is food this is equivalent to 1
in 5 bags of groceries going into the bin. We need to stop that food from going to landfill. And
you're probably thinking how do we stop this waste? We need to be less fussy. If your apple has got
a bruise just eat around it or cut out the area you don't want. Another answer to that is easy we start
to compost. Composting allows use of otherwise useless scraps and provides a free fertiliser that is
great for the garden.

Why Plastic Bags Should Be Banned From Store
Picture this: A person goes out to the store to purchase a couple of necessities. Those necessities
then get put into a plastic bag as per usual. They get home and take everything out of the bag. They
then trash the bag because it is no longer needed. The plastic bag, then ends up in some landfill
where it is blown away in the middle of the ocean. The plastic bag then goes on to danger the marine
animals. Plastic bags should be banned from stores because there are other ways people can carry
their things, they are dangerous to marine animals, and cause pollution. Plastic bags are not needed
to carry items people buy from the stores. There are plenty of other ways to carry items that are
bought from the store. For example, people can bring their own bags from home. They can also use
tote bags instead that can be reused. Tote shopping bags are a more efficient way to carry items. Tote
shopping bags made of canvas or jute which is a natural fiber. There are also times when people go
to the store and only buy a couple of things. Therefore, they don't need a bag because they can carry
their items with their hands. Plastic bags cause a massive amount of pollution to the earth. It lets out
lots of CO2 into the air with the production of it. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that if let out too much at
one time can hurt the planet. Not only do plastic bags produce pollution while being made, but also
when they are decomposing. Plastic bags go on to last for up to 10–1000 years.

Plastics Have Hazardous Influence on Human Health
Plastics have hazardous influences on human health. It takes huge amounts of chemicals and fossil
energizes to produce plastics. The type of plastics that we frequently use, contains a chemical called
Bisphenol–A "known as BPA" and other types of chemicals (Ellsbury, 2012). BPA can interferes
with human body and modifies hormones, which has been proven to be dangerous to human health.
In addition, various types of serious health problems have been strongly related to BPA (Lights,
2012). For instance, certain types of cancer, impaired immune function, early onset of puberty,
obesity, diabetes, and hyperactivity (Adverse Health Effects of Plastics, n.d.). Research has shown
that BPA enters human body through exposure to plastics, such as plastic bottles. Moreover, risks of
these bottles increase even more if they expose to high temperatures, because the plastic will secrete
its harmful chemicals into drinks (Lights, 2012). Plastics harm animals and consequence the death
of them. Thousands of wild animals and sea animals are dying because of the plastic pollutant. In
addition, once the animals swallow the plastic, it will not pass by the animals' gut so it stucks, and
that leads to a slow and excruciating death. Moreover, as plastics need more than lifetime to
decompose, after the animal dies and decays, the plastic will be freed back again to the environment
to keep killing other animals (Ark, n.d.). In the marine environment, plastic bags are the most

Essay On Plastic Bags
Since 1985, America has used plastic bags due to them being waterproof and having handles making
them easier to carry goods. Paper and plastic have always been a huge controversy in supermarkets
through the preference of customers. Some customers prefer having the paper bags standing up
straight in the trunks of their cars. Other customers prefer the plastic bags because of the handles
making it easier to walk home and carry their goods. Although both preferences are fine, all
customers know the dangers of the plastic bag. Banning plastic bags from stores and replacing them

Although plastic bags, as well as paper bags, can be recycled in order to postpone running out of
resources, the creation and destruction of the plastic releases CO2 or (Carbon Dioxide) into the air
damaging the Earth's atmosphere along with all the other horrific machinery emitting the same toxic
and harmful gas. This is more popularly known as "Plastic Pollution", one of the biggest causes of
climate change. "An estimated 12 million barrels of oil are used to manufacture the 30 million
plastic bags that Americans use each year." (Durkin, 1 bag at a time) Factories creating and
destroying these plastic bags have the some of the highest rates of CO2 emission. No matter how the
plastic bag is disposed of, either way it will end up releasing the catastrophic chemicals that are
killing our planet.
Recycling is a great attempt to preserve our natural resources, but it does not even come close to
saving the living creatures of Mother Earth herself. The build up of plastic bags and other
unnecessary items in our oceans is a greater cause of ecosystem disruption. An estimated 100,000
marine animals die each year due to suffocating on or ingesting plastic bags. Increased levels of
man–made pollutants show up in areas like the Arctic, affecting Polar bears, other arctic mammals,
melting polar ice caps and adding to the stress of all climate change and global warming. All plastic

Should The New Ordinance Be Banned?
Recently Santa Barbara began legislation to expand the new ordinance to ban the use of single use
plastic bags in unincorporated areas on July 21, 2015 (Independent). This ordinance was aptly
named the "Single–Use Carryout Bag Ordinance", which would work on a two tiered scheduled
system in which certain stores based on the schedule would be prohibited from providing single–use
plastic carry out bags to customers at the point of sale and would require a ten cent charge to provide
customers with each paper bag. The schedule would prohibit any supermarket, and store with a
pharmacy larger than 10,000 square feet from giving single use plastic bags on and after May 14,
2014. On or after November 14, 2014 for smaller grocery stores and others. This schedule was then
adjusted for the unincorporated areas with the respective dates, with larger stores on March 22, 2016
and September 24, 2016 (Single Use Bags). This ban is a reflection of an ongoing statute proposed
to ban bags in California in early 2015 but due to groups opposing the ban it has been put on hold
until November 2016 (Ballotpedia). There are many groups who oppose the ban and many groups
who support it. A few groups who support the ban are, California vs. Big Plastic, the Surfrider

Speech On How To Get Rid Of A Dead Body
How to dispose of a dead body
First of all, I?m going to set my examples of getting rid of a dead body from a TV show called ?
Dexter.? The Items you need are (Plastic Wrap, Stapler, Black Trash Bag, a collection of knives or a
knife, etorphine which is used drug elephants, a boat, a needle, and an empty place to make the
killing).
I?m only teaching this for a good cause because sometimes there are people who deserve to get
punished but they get away with it. Or they are double faced they do right stuff in front of people
and bad Stuff behind the knowing of people.
I?m going to tell you now how to use these items.
First of all, you will use an isolated empty room to take your victim there while he is drugged, then
use the thick plastic paper to staple it to the roof and the walls ... Show more content on

Then drug them using the etrophine, using etrophine is more guaranteed because it is to drug
elephants so it will affect the victim strongly and he will not wake up.
Next, you take your victim and drag them to your car. Make sure that nobody is following or
watching you.
Take your victim to the Place you had set up earlier which is the Kill room. Place them on the table
and wrap them in the Plastic wrap. You should make sure that you got enough plastic wrap before
you start doing anything, and remember to wrap them with the enough amount of wrap.
After you covered your victim, you should start covering the room with plastic wrap. Staple the
plastic wrap to the ceiling and the walls not leaving any place for the blood to leak and also make
sure to use the 4–millimeter type of wrap its stronger than the original one and it won't break or rip
apart. Here is a picture of how the Kill room should look

My Story About My Daughter
So I have come here to tell you guys about my daughter and request some assistance from you, I
guess. Last night sort of shook me a little bit and I am at a loss mentally about what to do. I have an
8 year old daughter, Amber, who shares a multitude of personality traits in common with me. One of
my favorites is the use of wanton sarcasm pretty much 100% of the time. I keep telling my wife,
Jennifer, that it 's a sign of intelligence; she 'll just roll her eyes and reminds me that she constantly
has to explain the process of moving shit in the fridge to find other shit to the both of us. I guess that
means we aren 't all that smart. However, like I said, I didn 't come here to gush over my love for my
daughter. Yesterday morning pretty much started how it usually does with me struggling to get my
wife and daughter up and ready for work and school respectively. My wife is more of an uphill
struggle than Amber is most of the time. It really only gets bad if she doesn 't get a restful sleep.
This day was apparently one of those days indicated by the three trips I made into her bedroom to
annoy the shit out of her until she woke up. The more I tried to probe into why she was so tired she
met it with a significant amount more resistance. Sometimes you have to pick your battles, so I
dropped it. We had plans to go to a fair in central Ohio that I had been excited for all year. It was
two hours away from our house but I hadn 't been in so long that the drive seemed worth it.

  • 3. The Pros And Cons Of Plastic Bags Since 1985, America has been using plastic bags due to them being waterproof and having handles making them easier to carry goods. Paper and plastic has always been a huge controversy in super markets through the preference of customers. Some customers prefer having the paper bags standing up straight in the trunks of their cars. Other customers prefer the plastic bags because of the handles making it easier to walk home and carry their goods. Although both preferences are fine, all customers know the dangers of the plastic bag. Banning plastic bags from stores and replacing them with only paper or reusable bags, will reduce corruption of organic products, reduce CO2 emissions from creation and destruction of the plastic and prevent harm upon Earth and its creatures. Plastic bags were first designed in 1965 by a Swedish company which later became known as the "T–shirt plastic bag"; made from high density polyethylene, but It was in the late 1970s when Plastic bags first began to terrorize the well being of humanity. More and more supermarkets in America began handing out plastic bags as if they were candy on Halloween. The more plastic bags humans use, the more natural resources are being destroyed. There are two different types of plastic bags that one may find in any supermarket, high density polyethylene (HDPE) or low density polyethylene (LDPE). There isn't much difference between them besides the fact that LDPE would be the tougher and more durable bags you might find in department stores as well as any regular supermarket. They both require the same materials for creation such as oil, gas and coal (fossil fuels). Fossil fuels are the prehistoric resources formed by plants and animals that lived hundreds of millions of years ago. These fuels won't be replaced for another millions of years to come, that is why they're called "non– renewable" resources. Plastic is very valuable, but humans decide that is more than okay to litter these valuable resources than to recycle it and prevent some of the corruption and over–usage of resources we may not have in a distant future. Although plastic bags, as well as paper bags, can be recycled in order to postpone running out of resources, the creation and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I will attempt to analyze our current use of programs to prevent further plastic pollution the San Antonio area, and whether or not we stay with the status quo, implement buyback programs or tax people who want plastic bags. The defining issue at hand is the increasing plastic presence, the pollution it brings along with, the disposal we provide, or do not provide. Plastic is going to be one of the leading issues in the next few years, right next to climate change. Background: Plastic is made up of carbon, this is a man–made product which is specifically from oil. His body was severed into three pieces, placed into three matching Kenneth Cole suitcases and then dumped in the Chesapeake Bay. The investigation of his murder would span three years, involve two different investigative teams and end in the conviction of his wife, Melanie McGuire, based on circumstantial evidence (Glatt, 2008). The discovery of this crime began as a fishing trip for Chris Henkle, Dee Connors and his two children Sam and Claire on May 5, 2004. • 14. The Pros And Cons Of Plastic Bags Mangu–Ward discusses the rise and fall of plastic bags in her article, Plastic bags are good for you: what prohibitionists get wrong about one of modernity's greatest inventions. In the 1960s, the invention of the plastic bag began to spread to supermarkets around the world. Plastics bags were cheaper and lighter than paper bags. At the same time, they were also durable and very useful. The plastic bags were a very important invention that helped change the way people shop. It wasn't long, however, that people began to realize the environmental impact of plastic bags. The plastic bag was soon replaced by the reusable bag and many cities began taxing or even banning plastic bags. Fears over the environment resulted in the downfall of the plastic bag. Mangu–Ward's article is an example of People making emotional discussions instead of logical discussions. At the time plastic bags were introduced, they offered many advantages over the other options shoppers had at the grocery store. Plastic bags are very affordable. Because plastic bags are affordable, more stores began to stock them as a cheaper alternative to paper bags. The more stores that stocked plastic bags, the more people started to use plastic bags. When shoppers choose plastic bags over paper bags, the stores save money because they are spending less on bags. Plastic bags were also more appealing to the shopper than paper bags. Plastic bags are thin and flexible, which means they can be stored very easily. Plastic bags are lighter than paper bags, waterproof, unlike paper bags, and strong enough to carry most groceries. Another advantage is that shoppers could carry many plastic bags at once, unlike paper bags. Shoppers can reuse their plastic bags for things besides groceries, as well. For example, shoppers can use plastic bags as trash bags, or bags to put wet swimsuits or dirty laundry in. Because plastic bags are affordable, physically better than paper bags, and could be reused; many shoppers and stores began using plastic over paper. Though plastic bags had many advantages, there were some problems. When plastic bags first started spreading to supermarkets, they became controversial after children started suffocating on them. The only way that people learn is from experience. A person either makes the right decision or the wrong. In the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, there were many instances when the main character, Scout, learned something. The book being focused on black against white. There was a black man accused of rape, when really he was innocent. The facts were there, but in the end the people went with the white over black. Scout, the main character, learned multiple life lessons throughout the book. Three main life lessons Scout learned are that life isn't fair, to use her head, and not to judge people. Initially, Scout learned that life isn't fair. When Tom Robinson was being persecuted the jury results came back, "Guilty . . . guilty . . . guilty . . . guilty . . ." (pg 282). Tom Robinson was innocent, but he was considered guilty of the crime. The only reason he was considered guilty was because he was an African American putting his word against a white person's word. It was not fair, and Scout saw it as that way. She couldn't understand why Tom was guilty. Scout learned from this experience that life is not fair. Even if the truth is right in front of someone, they still will go with the white person's word. No matter the situation, whites would always be above blacks. Just with Tom being declared guilty, Scout learned that life isn't fair. Scout also learned that life isn't fair when Uncle Jack hit her and she found herself, ". . . suddenly looking at a tiny ant struggling with a bread crumb in the grass" (pg 112). Scout and Francis had gotten into a fight, which was as much Francis's fault as Scout's. Although Scout was the only that got into any trouble. This caused Scout to learn that life isn't fair. Even though it was also Francis's fault she was the only one that was reprimanded. As a result, throughout the novel, Scout learned that life is not fair. I spot a very expensive bag under a chair and I see Bobby and silently wave at him to get his attention. He sees me and starts to walk towards me. I signal him to one of the ways we steal bags and we start to dig a hole big enough for the bag and quickly we grab it and shove it into the hole. Bobby grabs the sand a covers the bag for us to get when the person leaves the beach. We both do this for a few more bags that seemed worth the time. Last night sort of shook me a little bit and I am at a loss mentally about what to do. I have an 8 year old daughter, Amber, who shares a multitude of personality traits in common with me. One of my favorites is the use of wanton sarcasm pretty much 100% of the time. I keep telling my wife, Jennifer, that it 's a sign of intelligence; she 'll just roll her eyes and reminds me that she constantly has to explain the process of moving shit in the fridge to find other shit to the both of us. I guess that means we aren 't all that smart. However, like I said, I didn 't come here to gush over my love for my daughter. Yesterday morning pretty much started how it usually does with me struggling to get my wife and daughter up and ready for work and school respectively. My wife is more of an uphill struggle than Amber is most of the time. It really only gets bad if she doesn 't get a restful sleep. This day was apparently one of those days indicated by the three trips I made into her bedroom to annoy the shit out of her until she woke up. The more I tried to probe into why she was so tired she met it with a significant amount more resistance. Sometimes you have to pick your battles, so I dropped it.
