Title Congratulations you have just married
Introduction the love of your life. Now that the
     Task
honeymoon is over you have some
   Process
  Evaluation
things to think about. You have to
Conclusion start planning your future life
together. Where do you and your
spouse want to reside? Who will be

                               The Task
You will determine the safest neighborhoods in your
Title area by researching the crime rates online and looking
 Introduction at past incidents.
     Task
Process You will also learn how to compare realtors by looking
Evaluation at reviews of past clients. You will have to determine if
                  these are credible sources.
  Conclusion

You will also learn about interest rates by researching
the rates that various banks will provide you for your
                  mortgage loans.

You will then collaborate all of the information you
found into a video presentation with your spouse.

                                                             The Process
                  1. First you will be broken into groups of 2. Your partner will serve as your “spouse”.
Title 2. You will pretend that you met at the University of Akron, and that you are looking to find a house in the
surrounding area. Use a search engine (ex. Google) to find the crime rates of Green, Wadsworth, Hudson,
Introduction Cuyahoga Falls, and Canton. Determine where it will be safest for you and your spouse to reside.
                  3. Next you will compare reviews of competing realtors in the area. Remember the 5 W’s to determine if the
Task source you are getting your review from is credible.
Realtors you may want to research:
   Process 1. www.incredibleagents.com
                  2. www.zillow.com/directory
  Evaluation 3. www.homethinking.com

Conclusion The 5 W’s – Make sure you can answer these 5 questions about the source you are getting your information
                      from
                  Who?
                  What?
                  When?
                  Where?
                  Why?

Make sure to answer all of these questions about each source that you use. Make sure to cite your
information that you have used at the end of your video presentation.

                  4. Next you will try to find competitve loan rates from banks in the area. Please keep track of which bank is
able to provide you with the lowest interest rate.
                       1. Huntington Banks
                       2. Fifth-Third
                       3. Key Bank

                  5. Finally, you are to collaborate all of this information into a video showing what neighborhood you two have
decided to live in, which realtor earned your trust, and which bank could provide you with the best rates.
Make sure to cite all of the internet sources that you used throughout your research. You may make the
video with Moviemaker and even share it on YouTube.
