weld-end preparation tool. It will
perform repeatable quality weld
preps on most metal pipes and
tubes including stainless steel,
from 8 mm I.D. to 32 mm O.D.
The cutting head will bevel, face
and counterbore individually or
in a synchronized operation.
b The SM 8 is easy to install on
all pipes and completely torque
accepting (requires no holding
device for machining).
b The ­Protem SM 8 unit requires only 32 mm total clearance thereby
allowing precise machining within very restricted working areas.

a built in control box. This control box

(88.9 mm), (optional mandrels are available for I.D. sizes down to 0.48” (12 mm). b The US 25 features self-ac- cepting torque system and an integral drive motor (several drive motor options and gear ratios are available). Standard tool plates will accept multiple tool bits allowing up to four simultaneous machining operations. Such opera- tions may include beveling, facing, counterboring, compound beveling and O.D. chamfering. b The rugged US 25 is capable of performing repeatable high quality weld preparations on all machinable alloy pipes, including stainless steel and other high nickel alloys.   • 31. 31 b The hydraulic HSB machine can be used either on site or in the workshop. This heavy duty beveler will bevel, face and counterbore individually or simultaneously heavy wall pipes. It will perform repeatable high quality weld preps on most metal pipes including stainless, duplex, superduplex from 6” O.D. up to 60” O.D. in standard. b The machine is transportable, easy to install and clamps on the inside diameter of the pipe. It can be easily operated by one operator.
