Jaque the mother hen finds a huge amount of corn in the forest but doesn't know how to carry it all home. When she asks her neighbors Mr. Cat, Mr. Dog, and Mr. Duck for help, they all say they are too busy. Jaque and her chicks work together to carry the corn home themselves. The next day, Jaque bakes a delicious corn cake and the smell attracts the neighbors, but Jaque refuses to share at first before relenting.

1. THE HEN AND THE CORN
Once upon a time, Jaque, the mother hen and her five
Little chicks went to have a long walk through the forest,

2.  While they walked through the path, they found a huge amount of corn.

3. After that, she asked herself: ”How can I take all of this
stuff to my home? “

4.  Suddenly all her neighbous appeared: Mr dog, Mr cat and Mr duck.

5.  She whispered her Little chicks”They are going to help us”, so she asked the
Mr cat ”Mr cat , Mr cat , can you help me?” . The Mr cat said ” Sorry, I am
very busy, I have to sleep”

6.  Then the hen asked Mr dog ”Mr dog , Mr dog , can you help us? ”, the dog
asnwered: ”sorry, but I have to look for my bone”

7.  Jaque asked the duck ”Mr duck, Mr duck , can you help me?”, the duck said”I
can’t , I have to take a bath”.

8.  Jaque felt so sad and thought nobody helped me!! , so what ca I do?, She
asked her Little chicks to help her to carry the corn to her home.

9.  All of the family worked together and took the corn one by one.

10.  The next day Jaque cooked a deliciuos corn cake

11.  It was so deliciuos and the smell was so strong that all the neighbors went to
her house to ask for a piece of it.

12.  Jaque got surprised when someone knocked the door.Her chicks opened the
door and shouted “Mom , mom, the neighbors are here !”,

13.  Jaque looked at them and said :No way ,” I can’t give you my cake” .
