 When you save an excel file the program adds the
.xlsx extension for you to identify in which
program you are opening it.

3.  Microsoft 2010 excel backstage view
 Enables you to use excel’s file management
features functions that aren’t related to creating
workbooks.
 View’s left-side navigation pane gives you access
to save, save as, open and close.
 It also has series of tabs:
- recent
- info
- new
- print
- save and send
- help
- options
 Exit button: closes excel

number of default worksheets in a workbook.
Backstage view enables you to access the microsoft website for
custome templates.
Use ctrl+N to create a new workbook.
When you want to access an excel template, you click on the
template command in the theme group on the page layout
tab.
 You cannot have more than one worksheet in
an excel workbook.

You can access backstage view by pressing Ctrl+N
By default, excel starts a new workbook with four worksheets.
In excel, you can add your most commonly used commands to
