1. A Letter from Mae
Dear My Beautiful Mom,
I understand I'm just a Junior in your womb, and you're considering abortion,
which they say is the best option. Before you make your decision, allow me to tell you
about my experiences over the last four months. My fingers and toes are well-defined,
which marks a significant step forward in my physical development. By the end of the
month, I'll be up to five inches long and weighing close to five ounces. My eyelids, brows,
eyelashes, nails, and hair are already fully formed. My bones are also becoming more
compact; therefore, I'm becoming stronger. My reproductive organsand nervous system
are completely matured. I learnt a lot about my prenatal growth and am looking forward
to continuing to grow.
Don't worry, Mom; I've been sleeping soundly all night. You are welcome to go to
the doctor's office to hear my heartbeat. Even if we haven't seeneachother, you will get
the impression that I am constantly present. But, Mother, that can wait. I don't want
you to become stressed because of what the rest of the world advises you to do. Just
keep in mind that someone is not only with you, but also in you. Allow me to occupy
your mind while you indulge in your food cravings in moderation. You'll feel various
types of discomfort in your body during this time, as well as markings that will diminish
over time. It's all part of god's strategy, and each day brings me closer to being
recognized as a human being and your baby.
There are still enough of room for me to move around in your womb right now,
and I'm taking advantage of it. One issue is that I seem to have developed a new habit
of sucking my thumb. Mother, you can unwind and do things like decorate our home or
bake cupcakes. When I emerge after five months, you will exhale a sigh of relief. Just
don't put me too close to the lights since I'm starting to become sensitive to them.
Instead, sing me familiar lullabies so I can sleepsoundly. Maintain your fortitude mom,
ill behave. We can do this! I love you mom.
Love,
MAE💕
