2. We attracted our audience in a variety
of ways, the first with the casting. Both
characters seen in the opening are
teenagers, around the age of the target
audience. Thus leading them to feel
more involved with the characters as
they feel like they can relate to them
much more due to the similarities they
will see between themselves and the
characters.
3. Added to the age of the two main characters
they are also dressed in a very common
way, jeans, hoodies and fashionable
trainers. Again the similarities of the dress
code of the characters and that of the
audience would allow them to feel more
involved. By dressing the girl in more casual
clothes then the man, who is wearing formal
shoes with a casual coat whereas the girl is
completely casual makes the audience
relate more to the girl which would
emotionally invest them in the story and
attract them
4. Adding the heartbeat sound, as well as
the ECG machine to the credits as well
also help the audience feel connected
to the story even after it is finished.
Overall the best way we have attracted
the audience is by making it as exciting
as possible but also giving them the
chance, as much as we can, to relate
the story itself.
