combination of two Greek words
techne and logos.
Techne means art, craft or skill.
Logos meas “to speak out”.
4. The Role of Technology in Education:
Serves as an teaching aid in the teaching-
learning process;
Gives new information to both teacher and
the learner;
The source of knowledge for every students;
Makes the lesson easier and faster; and
Provides interest to both learner and
teachers.

-is the effective use of technological tools in
learning. As a concept, it concerns any array of
tools, such as media, machines and networking
hardware, as well as considering theoretical
perspectives for their effective application.
-it includes e-learning, instructional technology,
information and communication technology,
edtech, learning techniology and so many others.
